"This is a funny story so hold on to your hat! I had a birthday back in December, the 29th to be exact. I've had several friends call, fb, and email me so they could take me to various and sundry meals.....I am blessed to have awesome friends, really. So, this Sunday I went with my long time buds Lor and Betty....we ate at The Dancing Fox, which I love, love. Everytime we're in Lodi, we always stop at Thornton House to browse. It's low key and no high pressure sales tactics, just friendly folks that don't harass you and are happy to help when you need it.Well, my Bob has this huge chair that we've had in our LR for like 18 years and I've fantasized about blowing it up, doing an "Office Space" gangsta like bashing of it and many other day dreams. When we walked in, it was as if angels sang and a chorus joined as I viewed this floor model recliner with nail head detailing-and half off.....sold. Not to mention the fact that we had champagne with lunch so, I was more than happy to part with some of our hard earned cash!Fast forward to the end of the story.....Bob loves his new chair.....that's all you need to know!"

"This is my very favorite consignment store - maybe in the whole world. It's clean, curated professionally, and staged beautifully. Best of all, the prices are not in the typical "consignment" range, but affordable enough you are tempted to buy everything! Everything light and bright inside, with styles and eras for every taste and decor. I find way too many treasures whenever I'm in town and have to figure out how to get them all (especially oversized decor and furniture) back home to Utah. They keep expanding and now own the entire storefront on the corner of McHenry and Morris, so you have even more corners and nooks and crannies to explore. I didn't see it at first but plenty of parking behind the store. The employees are all helpful and very sweet."

Delivery was about 30 mins behind, but they called me and said they would be right there. Our delivery men were wonderful, very kind and professional. They took care with unloading our furniture and asked us where we would like it placed! They put it together and left within 15-20 mins. We are very happy with the quality of our furniture . Walked in one morning as I needed some new furniture for my big move and only had limited time to decide. Fresh aromatic smell when you enter. Immediately greeted by amiable Erica. Extremely patient lady whom help me find a couple sets I liked, but wanted to make sure those were it. I said "I'll be back" , yes I was "that" customer at that point. (Lol)Hours later I returned. They earned by business today and for as long as I need furniture. Why? Because After I left I went to continue to shop around, and main reason no where else did I get the same customer service including great prices. Prices elsewhere where double for similar styles. Cray cray. Store is very spacious and completely filled with a variety selection on dressers, dining sets, couches, bedroom sets, etc. once I decided on my dining set and living room set(couches), Erica took care of me. Cash is King. Bring him with you, if your ready(lol). Erica offered me second day delivery due to product in stock but I needed more time, since my project was under construction, they were able to accommodate me following week which was ok with me.Once my furniture arrived I honestly was not happy with my dinning set chairs and bench, they seemed flimsy. Went back to the store and Erica was able to work something out, upgraded my chairs and bench with happiness and full satisfaction for an amazing price. Obviously approved by Mr.Paul the owner. Unbelievable! Furniture stores tend to have a "no refund, all sales final " policy. I was beyond blessed.Assembly was pretty fast by Jay and his helper. Pretty talkative, which is nice. I Do recommend to have prior to install some felt pads for underneath your furniture if you have wooden floors, to avoid any scratches. Good thing I did, although I feel like they should provide those. Also they tend to leave all the little foam pieces from the boxes since they set up furniture at time of delivery. Other than that. Satisfied to the T. Oooohh and I received a free gift, an elephant decor piece as a good luck sign. Very much appreciated."

I don't know about you but it really gets me to pay shipping or delivery!! I feel like now a days in this era free shipping and delivery on large purchases goes without saying. I don't know could just be me, I do a lot of online shopping and most is free delivery. The big stores like Home Depot, Lowe's, Best Buy do free deliver and install.
