"Fresh grown California produce is what you find here. I come here for the walnuts. It 's the packaging, labeling and store staff. The nuts are as fresh as you can buy them and processed perfectly. These are what you put into your cookies and anything else requiring walnuts. I was blown away that for $20, I can get a 5lb bag. My friends will be receiving 5 lbs. each as a gift! You can buy from other local stands but we like this one the best. Super helpful and friendly staff. There's something for everyone here! Bonus material, mostly for my friend John. Parking is great! There are two options, both very spacious!"
"1/10/2019: Alright, alright! "Ms. Bumbling Around London UK" wasn't advantageous at the very end of my trip due to the following reasons: 1. I contracted walking pneumonia from a Bloke riding Bus #205 to Paddington Station (The Bloke disembarked at Marylebone Hospital's ER-DOH!) on the way to Heathrow International Airport.2. At the TSA FRISKING AREA located at Heathrow International Airport: My checked-in Fliek luggage, Tumi handcarry, and Pacsafe Metro Backpack were rifled, rummaged through by the TSA Agents! I searched for my shopping ID Cards in my wallet, backpack, and Tumi handcarry- - -GONE! Waaaah!!!!! I tried going back to the TSA BUT, the TSA Agents wouldn't allow me retrieving my ID Cards! As a result of losing my ID Cards, a chaotic fiasco ensued upon arriving home . . . I couldn't receive my Co-Op 10% Discount after I filled my shopping cart full of organic groceries due to two mishaps:1. Losing my Co-Op Membership at LHR didn't help at all2. My phone numbers were transposed incorrectly via Placerville Co-Op's database for their cash registers despite, paying $300.00 for my Co-Op Membership FeeDOH! Cashier, Sera relayed a message to Manager, Victoria who sent me an E-Mail message on 1/11/2019 stating she'd rectify my 10% discount conundrum and send me a replacement ID Card! Waaaah~Sera called me a couple of hours later stating the Co-Op authorized giving me a 10% refund so, stop by and pick up your refund . . . WHOA~So Awesome!WAAAAAH~Thank you so very much for rectifying my lost ID Card conundrum by refunding my 10% discount I should have received on 1/10/2019 and soon, mailing me a new Co-Op ID Card as well!"
"I come here once a week to buy produce and meats. I enjoy how fresh the produce always is and so affordable. I got some live crawfish today they were so huge and of course fresh. I always get the balut, spring rolls and seaweed salad. They make everything fresh and always run out so quick so make sure you go early if you want to buy the prepared foods the cashiers always greet us when we come and are always so kind. They have the best variety of noodles and snacks if you're a snacker like me!!"
"Rodin Farms has been on my radar for a year or so as I've found myself in the Central Valley a lot and have become obsessed with almond blossoms. I initially thought it was going to be a huge place in the middle of nowhere but it's actually located on the corner of a very busy street. The parking here is very small and fills up quickly. The almond blossom orchard is absolutely gorgeous when you come at the right time when they are in full bloom. Between the middle of February to end of February is the best time to come. There are rows and rows of almond blossoms and in the front is a little information about California almonds, this is definitely something I can appreciate. There were tons of people there take pictures, having professional photoshoots and just taking in the breathtaking beauty of the almond blossoms. They are just so pretty and they smell good as well. It's a nice little stop to check out with family, friends or your significant other. The stand itself was nice and had some fresh fruit and vegetables. What I like was their variety of specialty items such as dried fruits, almonds, pasta and pasta sauces, jarred soups and just many locally made items. I did not buy anything but there were a few things that caught my eye and I do regret not buying some of their flavored almonds. This is a great place to visit if you're in the area and just make sure to come at the right time so that you can see the almond blossoms as they are the real star of Rodin Farms."
"My visit here didn't entail fair rides, corn dogs, gang violence and carny's. It was piles and piles of Crab Legs, Tri-Tip, Garlic Bread and beautiful, beautiful music. We attended a fund raiser Crab Feed for the local High Schools Band Department. It was a great event. The location was held in the Sunset Hall. A large rectangular room that we checked in at the front with our tickets. After that they had all of the raffle items set up for everyone to bid on.They had a bar!! Wooo Whoo!! You had to purchase tickets to buy booze and bid on the raffle items. Fully debit card functional. Awesome!!!The sound was great for the band and we were serenaded while making a massive mess with all of the Crab, Meat and Bread. My one complaint was finding the entrance. It was dark and confusing to find exactly where to drive into at. Like my friend Eric B. says its kind of "gun & knife" around here. I grew up in this area so maybe I'm not that scared because there are scarier areas I could go to, this one isn't that bad. However, I would never go to the fair because of the gang element that does surround the grounds. I would go to the skating rink though, my old childhood haunt. We had a great time, parking was plentiful the space was perfect for that type of event and I didn't need to bring a bunch of cash. Ill be back next year. Hopefully they'll have hot Crab this time."
"This place has their Covid-19 act down and allows only a certain amount of people at a time, which we liked. Not crowded at all.Apricots and cherries were available for U Pick when we went on Saturday, 5/15. The cherries were not fully ripe yet, but Jenbert and Jenbert Jr don't mind firmer cherries. It is on the pricier side, but part of what you are paying for is a less crowded place to enjoy your U Pick experience."
"Good place to go for fresh vegetables. There's something there for everyone. Get there early for best selection. Don't be afraid to talk to the vendors and build a relationship, you will get good insight on what to get. Nice to be outdoors instead of a brick and mortar grocery store."
"Super cute pumpkin patch set up with lots of pumpkins, snack bar, gem mining, face painting and characters and even a haunted maze. Everyone working was very helpful and their pumpkin selection was awesome. The farm stand at the front has beautiful produce and farm fresh eggs for a steal! So happy to find this place and definitely a fun place to check off your pumpkin patch visit!"
"Deliciously delectable fresh baked pies, cakes. The gourmet variety of jars of James, jellies, salsas, and sauces are outstanding. Fresh fruits and vegetables to go with a huge selection of candied nuts and dried fruit. The pond is a restful outdoor space to enjoy your fresh made coffee. The staff are friendly, speak Spanish, and offer you samples of tasty treats. We enjoy the barn like and farm like feel of the whole place."
"Brentwood has some of the best family-friendly u-pick adventures and Maggiore is no exception. Came on a Sunday nearing the end of cherry-picking season and was surprised that the trees were still filled with ripe, beautiful, and sweet cherries. Tips/Additional Information:- Do make sure to come early in the morning. Crowds start coming in at around 9:30 which means fewer cherries for everyone.- The current price is $3.50/pound- Go to the back closer to the edge of the field, that's where you will get the most quality cherries.- Don't pick the cherries out in the sun as delicious as they look, they are usually smaller because the water moisture has been sucked out of them.Overall, such a fun activity for a weekend morning. Definitely will come back again for more!"

A small little local produce market in Manteca that is worth supporting. Every vegtable and fruit there is fresh. I was impressed by the sizes of some of their oranges and strawberries. Prices are reasonable too. It was also surprisingly busy when I went too. Staff are super friendly and the shelves are stocked so neatly. They also have delicious pies and kettle corn popcorn which is a must have.Parking is also very easy. If you are nearby then this is a better option than just going to a supermarket for produce.

Who would have thunk it that little ole Placerville has a food co-op? But they do and it is quite impressive. Well anyway, I was impressed on my first visit. I have been to the downtown Sacramento and Davis food co-ops. So on comparison to those...I was impressed. Right off the bat, I noticed that the parking lot has covered parking with solar panels. How green is that!? Plus the building itself has solar panels. Great! The inside footprint is compact but stocks quite a lot of inventory. They have a salad bar, deli area for made to order food item and fresh pressed juices, organic produce section, bulk foods-grains/nuts/legumes/herbs/spices/teas, snacks, bread, cereals, herbal supplements, homeopathic medicine, personal hygiene products, and makeup...and so much more. I was looking for a particular homeopathic product. The staff helped me search for the product on the shelf and in the back stock. They didn't find it. They even offered to call me back the following day after checking with their manager. Awesome customer service. Great follow through. Friendly bunch.

I would like to commend them for being the ONLY one to offer hand sanitizing gel + disposable gloves to patrons and scanning you for fever before entering the facility. Not even Costco, Safeway, Save Mart, Walmart, Food4Less, Winco, nor SF Supermarket does that!

My family and I came here because it was part of the Almond Blossom Cruise. Their almond blossom trees are beautiful and you can take a lovely walk along the rows of trees. Families are out taking photos and having picnics. We bought some corn nuts and dried strawberries to try. I wish I tried the corn nuts on the spot. Four bags is not enough! These corn nuts are actually the most delicious corn nuts I have ever had. I love their seasoning and also love the texture and taste of their corn nuts. The sriracha and the habanero were my favorites! I will definitely return to buy more corn nuts.

A few years ago, I had to drive from the Detroit airport to Sarnia Ontario. When I told a friend how I was going, his immediate response was that I would be traveling through the "gun and knife" show! It may be unfair, but that's the story I remember every time I drive out to Antioch. I have been to both the Contra Costa County Fair and at the Flea Market. Rather than being impressed, I leave depressed. This Iowa Boy loves any sort of community fair. However, in my limited experience her, the facility, the offerings, and the people watching just does not inspire.

This is one of my favorite Cherry U pick farms in Brentwood. I always got good & tasty fruits from here.Fruits:For Memorial Day weekend, the white peaches, cherries, pluots, apricots, and blackberries are all available and ready for picking. The farmer said the Apricot & Peach hybrid fruit trees will be ready in another week or two. White peaches, blackberries, pluots are all good here.Notes:The trees here are shorter which are easier for fruit-picking, especially for kids or for shorter person like myself. You don't need a ladder or special cherry picking tools to reach out for fruits. There are different size of boxes ($15 for blackberry Costco size box) I got a $30 box which is filled with 5 white peaches, 6 pluots, 16 apricots, lots of cherries, and some blackberries on top. It's definitely a good value IMO. Reservation:You will need to make a reservation in order to get in. You can only book after 8 pm the day before your chosen date. Reservation is always sold out when it opens at 8 pm, but if you try to book after 10 pm or 11 pm, you might be able to get the tickets. The ticketIs $5 per person and can be redeemed for fruits. Pro: They get good variety here. So you don't have to go to different farms. The staffs all wore masks and the entrance line is pretty organized. There is also a washing sink area with soup & water and porta-potty in case you need it. Con: Cherry trees selection is kinda small and cherries are not quite deep red yet. If your cherries are your target fruit, I will suggest other cherry farms instead. Parking:I will suggest come before 10 am if you can, it's less hot and easier for traffic & parking. Happy fruits picking y'all :)

Loved Filipino breakfast combination foods with selections. There's noodles selections like pansit palabok or pansit bihon. With some side dishes like lumpia and some rice cakes and some drinks.

Excellent produce, caring and helpful staff, and a cute little spot on the outskirts of Oakdale. My family loves to pick up eggs (which are $2.95), dried apples, watermelon, corn, and other goodies there. I love that they collaborate with local businesses to sell their products too.

"You've seen Perry's off the freeway and have told yourself to stop by one day. Yes, you have. Don't lie. Here's your sign to stop by today, tomorrow and this weekend! They are open 7 days a week. They have FRESH pies and coffee. They have picnic tables and high tables to sit and chill and enjoy delectable goodies.Fruits and veggies and jams and cookies galore. In October there's the most adorable pumpkin patch with an amazing selection. Pumpkins are priced right.Small kids area with life sized Jenga and Connect4.Best part of Perry's are the people who work here. They're so welcoming and helpful."
"After getting lost trying to get to my relatives house, I stopped in Galt Supermarket and asked for directions. Jim , the owner of the store was friendly and gave me directions. While there, I shopped the store for the essentials for dinner . The Meat department is nice and the store had everything we need for a BBQ. ***** Jim, thanks for friendly service and you have a great store *****"
"This small but unexpectedly well stocked fruit stand is a must stop every time we are nearby. It is located directly accross the HWY from Delta Farmers Market. Not fancy or touristy, just a small shack. DO NOT BE FOOLED. The offerings here are uber fresh and inexpensive. Just produce. No wines or little keychains. Occasionally they will have jam/jelly, but even these are not fancy. I have absolutely enjoyed everything I have ever purchased here. Sometimes I buy some veggie that looks good and then go home to find how to prepare it. FUN!! I am always excited to see what I will find there. She is open through December and will re-open in spring. If you enjoy farm-to your-kitchen produce as we do, I highly reccommend!!!"
"One of the larger Apple places with more parking. Plenty of pie, candy apples, and much more. They have some things for kids so this place is especially nice for families. Plenty of food options. Staff are all nice and helpful. They take Apple Pay and tap to pay."
"It's May and peak strawberry season.I've always wanted to taste the strawberries at this stand because my cousin would tell me that they have the sweetest and best smelling strawberries. We asked for a sample before we bought a half flat and they quickly gave us a whole strawberry each to taste. These strawberries are unlike the grocery store strawberries. They are sweet with the bite much softer than the commercially grown strawberry for the supermarket. It's worth the effort and money. The shelf life is a couple days so you'll want to freeze the strawberries around the second day for smoothies or just buy what you'll eat for the next couple days Highly recommended!"
"We have been going here for years and this is where my mother gets a lot of meat and veggies. They have some prepared foods and baked goods, get in early to get the best selection. They have fried pork belly but it is seasoned with five spice which I'm not too fond of. We go here at least once a week and depending on the season you can find great hard to find fruits for a more reasonable price. You can always call if you're looking for something specific or exotic. They have parking in the front or back. It's mainly Vietnamese but they have some Filipino items. I always recommend this for people who are looking for asian products. It's part of our shopping circuit with Seafood City, 99 Ranch and SF Market."
"Fall season is just around the corner, right? *sees that the upcoming weekly forecast is still hovering dry-heat 90s*......RIGHT?!?!Before leaving Stockton and heading back to Elk Grove I wanted to make a pit stop here. Cute little highway-side shop. Has a pretty good variety of produce that's locally grown. At the time of this review (mid-Sept.), fall season produce is beginning to appear here. The staff are super polite and friendly. I especially love the lady at the bakery counter; such a joy to talk to when asking about bakery item recommendations. The plum bar is a little overly sweet for me but the molasses cookie, a seasonal special, has an amazing slight chew to it and is bold in flavor (there's a notable ginger taste to it FYI).Definitely recommend stopping by here even if it's a little out of the way!"
"This place is right off the highway and you can't miss it because there are plenty of signs to direct you here. The staff is friendly and there is someone in the parking lot directing traffic. Even though the strawberries are not as sweet here as the other U Pick strawberry farm that I went, they are still better than store bought and the helpful staff makes up for that. I also like that there is no minimum amount to pick."
"8 years later. Have eaten here at least two dozen times. The fruit yard holds the honor of being the most average restaurant on the planet. They have a huge menu, food quality is fine, it's a big, kind of nice place, the service is ok and the prices are pretty average. Everything is more or less generic. Not bad, not great, just...ok. My wife and I have coined the phrase "it's a fruityard" for stuff that is remarkably average. To be fair, breakfasts are a bit above average. The place serves a purpose and gets points for consistency- but don't expect anything life changing - or even really good."
"Best cherries in Stockton or maybe Northern California. It's been a long time since I've had great cherries. Not only does this orchard have great tasting cherries, they have great looking cherries as well. They do a great job in sorting the bad ones out and giving you the best grade cherry that they can give you. You can even see them sorting them out right in front of you.I have already bought 6 huge boxes of cherries here because they are that good. Not all for me of course, but because my family loved them as well. I had family from the Bay Area over for Memorial weekend for my brothers birthday and brought a box to the party and they pretty much begged me to go back because they wanted to buy a box because the ones they get out there don't taste good. I thought they would be closed around 5:30 but they were still open and said they usually close around 6. At first they couldn't fulfill the 4 boxes I was asking for, but they went out of their way and did it for me anyways. If you don't want to buy overpriced beat up cherries at the grocery stores or that nasty old looking cherries you see at the corner head out here and get some freshly picked cherries. If you don't know how to get out here just drive down Highway 88 toward Lockeford and they will be on the side with the gravel patch with plenty of room to park. Right between 8 Mile Rd. and HWY 99."
"Still luvin grocery shopping here. The produce is super fresh. The groceries brands and quantities are well stocked. The pricing is reasonable. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The interior design and look is clean and modern making it even a more enjoyable experience. The organic produce selection is significant compared to most other grocery stores. Plus the pricing on the organic produce is not outrageous. Forklift is super close off Highway 50 in Cameron Park, CA. Pretty easy to get to."
"Ok, if you are in the Clements/Lockford area this is a must stop everything here so far is amazing, depending on season they have great fruits and vegetables. Also the pies so good!!! In addition this is where you will get into big trouble their FUDGE is soooo good!!!! They will let you sample any of the flavors."
"Today I purchased strawberries, onions and chocolate covered berries. I like stopping at this stand because their produce is grown right at that location and picked at the perfect time. The people running the stand are always helpful and kind. Rather than grow my own strawberries this business provides fresh products with out the hassles of growing the products. In the near future they will have okra and green beans. There's peas and a few other products available for sale right now. If your in the area this place is a great stop and it's located about quarter mile from I5 and French Camp road. At the intersection of Manthey and French Camp road. Adjacent to Weston Ranch homes in Stockton, CA."
"A pretty nice fruit and vegetable stand just outside Stockton city limits, to the east. At the top of the season for local fruits and vegetables, this is a good choice. They have limited quantities of some unusual gourmet items. I found some heirloom squash that we brought home to bbq. Even sweet white corn, 5 for a dollar, so fresh the silk hadn't turned brown. And my general observation was, their stuff was offered at better prices than down the road at the Fruit Bowl, their competitor. They even carry fresh made pies that looked quite tempting. Since we did not indulge, I can only report."
"Everytime I drive on HWY 120 I have to stop here to pick up fresh produce on my way back to SF. They have the most eye catching signs so you can't miss them. Here's a list of what I picked up over the 4th of July weekend:-Blackberries-Walnuts-Jam-Mixed dried fruit-Dried banana chips-White Corn (10 for $1) . I regret not buying more"
"My favorite produce stand ! Great prices , and very kind ! Come here instead of the Monte vista one . This has better quality !"
