"This week ran by on Thursday between errands for work. Grabbed some fresh fruits & veggies and scored some awesome raspberries (ate them right out of the carton and on my morning oatmeal with brown sugar and almond milk) and more of those awesome fresh beets; which went in my daily carrot/green juice-mmmmmnn! Oh and some fresh cilantro and vine tomatoes, which btw, went in my version of pico de gallo-added to my wild salmon tacos this weekend....num-num-nummy-yum!"
"Rodin Farms has been on my radar for a year or so as I've found myself in the Central Valley a lot and have become obsessed with almond blossoms. I initially thought it was going to be a huge place in the middle of nowhere but it's actually located on the corner of a very busy street. The parking here is very small and fills up quickly. The almond blossom orchard is absolutely gorgeous when you come at the right time when they are in full bloom. Between the middle of February to end of February is the best time to come. There are rows and rows of almond blossoms and in the front is a little information about California almonds, this is definitely something I can appreciate. There were tons of people there take pictures, having professional photoshoots and just taking in the breathtaking beauty of the almond blossoms. They are just so pretty and they smell good as well. It's a nice little stop to check out with family, friends or your significant other. The stand itself was nice and had some fresh fruit and vegetables. What I like was their variety of specialty items such as dried fruits, almonds, pasta and pasta sauces, jarred soups and just many locally made items. I did not buy anything but there were a few things that caught my eye and I do regret not buying some of their flavored almonds. This is a great place to visit if you're in the area and just make sure to come at the right time so that you can see the almond blossoms as they are the real star of Rodin Farms."
"Famers Market is still a great place to pick up fresh local produce and flowers at a discount price. They have food and drink options if you are hungry. There are also other vendors that sale trinkets i.e., (jewelry, socks, food containers, key chains etc.).Vendors are very nice, let's support our small business!"
"Had the chance to speak to one of the owners about an issue and I was so impressed by how kind and professional she was, that it reminded me to come on here and share a review. I'm a photographer and did a photoshoot there and it was so pretty and cute! I'm so glad someone brought such a cool idea to our town!Note to other photographers, this is affordable and really cool! Contact them before your shoot about how to schedule something there."
"Great market for produce and fruits. Open 7 days a week from 7 am to 6 pm, even holidaysSign up for the sale ad and every Friday morning you will get a text with the current specials. Also follow them on Facebook for updated specialsJohn and Rosa are wonderful. They really care and are so helpful and friendly. John has a lot of info on farming so if you have a question, ask him! He will be happy to help you."
"Dutch Hollow Farms never disappoints. Stopped in to get 7 Month photos of my baby girl in the sunflower fields. We do them ourselves... and they turned out amazing. The sunflowers are such a perfect backdrop! At only $5 for entry, DHF is an absolute steal for photos, date night or an outing with the kiddos. Tonight they had other amenities open for use, so after taking photos and picking gladiolus and sunflowers we got to go see the goats, mini horses, sheep, ect. We then wandered and took a look at some of the new additions of fun games, photo ops, and things for kids to explore. When our daughter's older, I certainly want to host her birthday party here. The farm provides pure, safe fun for the entire family and honestly Farmer John's prices are so reasonable that I'd raise them if I was him."
"I bought local honey with elderberry & salve for my sick husband. We love this honey with our tea. I also got lavender antibacterial spray for cooties and a sweet treat for my son's girlfriend. The chocolate-covered caramel sample was 10/10 & the gingerbread candy ball sample was 9/10. The decor was inviting, and the cashier was friendly.I'll return for fruit, veggies, and more honey. Try some honey on pizza too - amazing!"
"Good place to go for fresh vegetables. There's something there for everyone. Get there early for best selection. Don't be afraid to talk to the vendors and build a relationship, you will get good insight on what to get. Nice to be outdoors instead of a brick and mortar grocery store."
"Fun for the whole family! we enjoyed delicious food, stocked up on some awesome soaps from Mazzeltov Farms and bought the most delicious blueberries and mushroooms. Typically at farmers markets there are some stands you want to skip based on your specific interests but we loved every stand here. Our kids loved the shaved ice and ran around in the kids area for hours. We look forward to visiting several times this summer!"
"This is such a cute market! Stopped by on the way back from a vacation, and was impressed by the variety of fruits, snacks, and fresh food they had a available. There were so many things I wanted to try. I ended up just getting the kettle corn nuts (they had sooo many corn nut flavors). They were great! Crunchy and had great flavor. I also saw a sign for $1 watermelons which is a fantastic deal. If you ever happen to pass by this place, I'd recommend checking it out."
"I went to this place many months ago and had a great experience! They were affordable and they eggs I got were great quality, better than the grocery store.Due to the pandemic I think they are closed right now but I wish for a quick reopening because I can't wait to pick up some more of their wonderful eggs!!"
"Experience the ultimate fruit stand that will fuel your day with freshness and positivity! This spotless venue offers an abundance of fresh fruits and veggies, mouthwatering baked goods, and a warm, welcoming team committed to making your day brighter!"

Happy happy joy joy! Maureen, my Yelp buddy gently corrected me, as I believed this market closed thanks to the Trinity Pkwy liars. I digress. Forgive my momentary snippyness. Let me center myself and focus on what I consider the BEST Stockton market, now under the auspices of San Joaquin Certified Farmers' Market (website www.sjcfarmersmarket.com). I loaded up on: red potatoes for my famous garlic smashed potatoes, apricot jelly, beets, sweet potato bread for my hips, juicy nectarines - both yellow and white, onions to make me cry, Guzzetti's Garlic Artichoke spread to keep the vampires away, dried pluots, many, many greens to stir-fry, tomatoes, bread pudding from A&M Dutch Bakery and the inimitable Dorothy Coil's Basil-infused Canola Oil. What culinary concoctions will I come up with this week? Sorry, you can't come over, our new place is cozy (code word for small). But you can find me here on a Sunday morning graciously accepting samples and manhandling produce: smelling fruit and squeezing tomatoes.

My family and I came here because it was part of the Almond Blossom Cruise. Their almond blossom trees are beautiful and you can take a lovely walk along the rows of trees. Families are out taking photos and having picnics. We bought some corn nuts and dried strawberries to try. I wish I tried the corn nuts on the spot. Four bags is not enough! These corn nuts are actually the most delicious corn nuts I have ever had. I love their seasoning and also love the texture and taste of their corn nuts. The sriracha and the habanero were my favorites! I will definitely return to buy more corn nuts.

AWARENESS:The Tracy Farmers Market has been happening on Saturday mornings for several years now. The wife and I try to go each week,NARRATIVE:Tracy Farmers Market has what you would normally see at any other weekend farmers market but, there are a few stops I like to make each Saturday. The first stop is for Tamale stand. The second is at Wolfsen's Meat where I can find unique flavored sausages and lastly, the fresh produce areas.SCENE:Farmers Market is located on Central Avenue of Tracy. The only thing that changes each week are the cross streets where the market end. Sometimes its Central at Sixth to Central at Eighth. Sometimes it Seventh to Ninth. RECOMMENDATION(S):Looking for something to do on a Saturday morning? Try the Tracy Farmers Market for starters.

Great place to take some beautiful pictures. The variety of pumpkins they have is incredible. The corn maze was a fun activity. They also have beautiful flowers and cool little haunted house for kids. Nothing scary, so little ones could also enjoy it without being terrified. The farm was so cute I ended up making a YouTube video Going to a pumpkin patch that specializes in exotic pumpkins#pumpkins#halloween2023 #cornmazehttps://youtube.com/shorts/2M006GnD_To?feature=share

I heard about this place from a nice guy that mentioned it to me while I was at Safeway produce area. Had to get myself over to A1 Ag as soon as possible. Great market off the freeway and you gotta support the locals. Open 7a-6p everyday! Get your vegetables, fruits, nuts, honey, milk, eggs, firewood, plants and eggs. After my 2nd visit, I learned a new thing, they have a reward system using your phone number. Today I received a text message to view specials and inventory & prices. Note: Parking lot is small and only goes in one way. Prepare to park on the side of the road.

Visited this farm during tulip season! I'm not sure if it's still open since it's a seasonal occasion. We were able to pick wild tulips for $1 each. A basket is provided to carry the tulips. I'm not sure if it's because we came late but many of the tulips were already over blossomed (not sure if that's the correct word), however we were still able to find some good picks. I would recommend bringing a case with water if your planning to go elsewhere after and not straight home!

FIVE STARS! I frequent this location often and they are my favorite place in the downtown Modesto area. Fresh local fruits and honey -they have hot and iced coffee - offer a large selection of drinks including energy drinks -recently they started making their own fresh infused waters and I highly recommend the pineapple.

Loved Filipino breakfast combination foods with selections. There's noodles selections like pansit palabok or pansit bihon. With some side dishes like lumpia and some rice cakes and some drinks.

"Damn i was impressed as a MF!! At the flea market this is totally Stocktones (yes i know i spelled Stockton differently, if ur Mexican u can relate) hidden gem, parking is tough as a MF to find but parking is free and so is the entrance, i liked the fact that the vendors were reAlly diverse unlike the San Jo pulgas them joints be having the same stuff at every stand. They had lots of produce lots of stuff and the flea market had a great happy vibe all around. The food vendors looked good we stopped and tried some of the food there i had Goat tacos because i love goat and got a side of broth the picky wife had an asada huarache i liked my food the wife liked her huarache she said it was flavorful. They had a vendor selling avocados he offered me a sample, he said dont judge a book by its cover he grabbed an ugly ass looking avocado and he said this one is good, he split it in half and the avocado had a beautiful green color and it was flavorful and creamy i was shocked!! So i bought 10 dollars worth of avocados. Im a have to go downtown and take some to my Mom. My wife said the bathrooms were filthy mc nasty so i held my pee the whole time lol i get grossed out easily. I will for surely come back the atmosphere was just lovely, they do have people passing out cars about Church and stuff that was kinda annoying, like cmon homie dont be shoving ur religion believes down my throat, other than that check this place out"
"This small but unexpectedly well stocked fruit stand is a must stop every time we are nearby. It is located directly accross the HWY from Delta Farmers Market. Not fancy or touristy, just a small shack. DO NOT BE FOOLED. The offerings here are uber fresh and inexpensive. Just produce. No wines or little keychains. Occasionally they will have jam/jelly, but even these are not fancy. I have absolutely enjoyed everything I have ever purchased here. Sometimes I buy some veggie that looks good and then go home to find how to prepare it. FUN!! I am always excited to see what I will find there. She is open through December and will re-open in spring. If you enjoy farm-to your-kitchen produce as we do, I highly reccommend!!!"
"Absolutely FRESH and ORGANIC veggies and fruit.Met these folks at the Tracy Farmers Market, and their produce just looked amazing.I've bought produce from them before and it tastes wonderful. You can tell the difference, the chili peppers are spicy, the regular peppers a little on sweeter side, the greens are crisp and last longer.Great prices and service with a smile!"
"I got invited by my sister and Mother earlier this evening to come to Lodi's Thursday night farmers market. At first I was a bit skeptical, I never came here before. My mindset was it's probably like the one in Stockton. So I'm always down to try new things out and tagged along. When we arrived, I heard music playing in the background. I noticed a lot of people socializing. So I went off on my own to explore and check things out. There's food and items shops galore. Live bands playing different types of music. People loving life and having a blast. I spent most of my time window shopping and taking pictures and talking to people as they saw me snapping a lot of pictures. I only bought one Food item and it was the Lockeford Sausage for $6. I keep hearing about these Lockeford sausages and yes the rumors are very true, there hella good. Different stands has different prices for water. I found one stand that sells them for a $1. I bought a few, because the sun rays were shooting down from the sun. Getting me hella hot lol. I can't really speak on the prices of the fruits and vegetables, because I didn't go there for shopping. We went to have a great time and we did. There's so much to do and the two hours we were there wasn't enough to take it all in. So if you got nothing to do on a Thursday night. You want to listen to good music and enjoy the moment, come check this place out. You might like it, I did. Life is Beautiful. ..Vincent D ...*VD*"
"They have the best double yoke eggs in the valley some of the biggest chicken eggs I've ever seen"
"I love this place. It's happens every Saturday under the cross town freeway downtown Stockton and is one of my favorite farmers markets. Like any good farmers market, it depends greatly on the season but that it occurs year round gives me a lot of comfort. In its peak season (late spring through summer) you'll find it thriving from a variety of standard farmers market wares (peaches, citrus fruits, standard herbs and leafy greens) to less standard but no less exciting offerings like Thai basil, okra leaves, egg plant, rice noodles, farmers eggs, and a pretty extensive fresh and frozen seafood section. There's usually a bakery selling different buns filled with different meat options or even fruit options. One of the biggest draw of farmers market for me, of how affordable fresh fruits and veggies can be had. Last weekend my wife and I picked two large grocery bags, chalk full of veggies (squash, egg plant, bell peppers), Thai basil, honeydew, & fresh rice noodles and spent 10 bucks exactly. Another great upside to this farmers market is that it takes places under the cover of the freeway, which means you'll stay dry in the winter and benefit from shade during the hotter months."
"Extremely fresh produce. We met them at the Farmers Market in Tracy and their produce was just incredible.People were everywhere grabbing vegetables.Fast and friendly service.I always appreciate produce that is sustainably farmed and organically grown :)"
"Over the years, I have picked cherries, peaches, apricots, apples, olallieberries, apples, and strawberries but have always wanted to pick blueberries. Not only it is my dad's favorite fruit but they tend to be on the pricier side. So when I discovered it available for U-Pick at Jessop Farms in Ripon, about an hour and 15 minutes away, I knew I finally need to go for myself. It can be labor intensive until you get the hang of it but at just $3.75 per pound, you can get more than triple the amount for the price you would for just a quart at the Farmer's Market - http://aroundthebayandaway.blogspot.com/2019/06/fruits-of-our-labor-in-ripon.html. In addition to blueberries, they also have strawberries, cherries, and peaches for U-pick as well but call to confirm availability before going as they have a short season."
"I really enjoy having a farmers market locally. Some of the vendors I enjoy are Hummus Heaven, honey, strawberries, lemon wheat grass shots, Oozzy's Grilled Cheese, permanent jewelry, and more! It'd be great to have some benches/shade to enjoy lunch. I'd also love to try a new coffee truck/booth. There's plenty of parking but note it's not dog friendly. There's numerous vendors that I've tried here but they're not consistent. One week they show up the next 3 weeks they don't show up. It'd be great to have some consistency as I really enjoy supporting small businesses. Appreciate all the efforts."
"I happened to stroll by this vibrant and exciting produce market today with my co-worker while leaving the hospital in downtown. We stopped by and to my surprise this is a gem in Modesto (imho)! So much to see, taste and buy when it comes to fruits, vegetables and even food items for lunch! It was around lunch time and we stopped by one of the booths that sold pupusas! We ordered the chicken and pork pupusa and a couple booths down was the agua frescas! We got sandia and jamaica... DDDDDelicious!! It was from the Oaxacan place that also sold molotes (masa balls with chorizo, mozzarella cheese and potato)... It was so good! You'll be blown away by the diversity of food you'll find here. From Salvadoreãn food to Chinese, to organic almond butter, to cherries and beets. It's not just food you'll see here also straw bags, and other unique trinkets.Check them out every Thursday and enjoy the music, the smell of good food and the family-friendly atmosphere!"
"Mountain House Farmers Market is a cozy little market, that has your basic seasonal groceries. It is located in the back parking lot of MH Library. They have a nice selection of Cold Drinks, Ice Cream, Pastries and some delicious food to munch on. Come out and support our local MH vendors."
"The Delta College Flea Market located in the Delta College parking lot. In Stockton, California.I've been coming to this Flea market for the past few years. I like to just walk around and see what type of junk, I might like. It's great for a morning or an afternoon walk. They have a lot of stuff here ranging from BBQ sauce to Spray paint. Hella used clothes and plenty of knockoffs for a Nikka. I come mostly for bike parts and broken tools. Also whatever, I see I'll probably pick up. There is plenty of parking for you, the best part there is no charge for parking and no entrance fee. There's also not a whole lot of produce here compared to the Open Air mall on Wilson Way. The bonus here. You can get your chubby on in the shade. A whole bunch of tents are placed around the Flea Market for you. Also they have hella food trucks up in here. So make sure to bring cash. Some of these fools, you can wheel and deal. But most are set on their price. I'ts like a game of high and low. They'll come at me with some stupid price, like I'm Boo Boo da Foo. "I'm like hell nah, foo, you must be trippin". This place is the bomb dot com and love coming to places like this. It's either you like the Flea? or you Don't? If you don't like it, then keep on steppin. We don't need a bunch of haters here anyways, ya dig. So if your are look for a tube for your bike or just wanna look for some bootleg shit. Come on down and see what's crackin. The Cuddy VD"
"Sometimes I feel sorry for people that live out in Spanos Park. Sometimes. They have a really nice shopping center..... BUT they don't have a grocery store and only one outrageously priced gas station. It is one thing that gas prices are up.... but the Chevron out there had diesel at $5.19 a gallon. From my neighborhood, I live relatively close to the Farmers Market at Dillards, my favorite strawberry farmers on Don and Hammer.... and Downtown is just a few exits away... okay... maybe 8 or 9.The market itself is just starting at this location... was kind of small, but had some of the regular booths that you would see at the other Markets. Apricots, tomatoes, onions, garlic, cherries, M & W bakery, 2 other bakeries, dog treats, fresh flowers, olive oil, nuts.... pretty much the usual. Don't drive by and think that there isn't much to offer. You will be surprised.Bring your dog.... I did!"
"Ok, if you are in the Clements/Lockford area this is a must stop everything here so far is amazing, depending on season they have great fruits and vegetables. Also the pies so good!!! In addition this is where you will get into big trouble their FUDGE is soooo good!!!! They will let you sample any of the flavors."
"A decent stop for local produce. I've been on a pomelo kick lately - and I've been loving trying out a variety of different fruit stands on our way to the mountains. Jacob's is conveniently located and it has a pretty good selection of vegetables, fruits, nuts etc. I recommend inspecting your items before you purchase them. The first pomelo that I picked up - my fingers went right through the skin - because it had already started to mold. Quite a few of their lemons, sweet potatoes etc were also covered in fuzz and they looked to had been sitting there for awhile. That being said - for two big pomelos, a green apple, an onion and an avocado - it was just $6. Not a bad price at all!Trust."
"They were at Sacramento State ASI farmers market. The first time I brought strawberries I brought just 3 small boxes with was $7 which was SUPER sweet. Best strawberries I ever had. They were on campus again on Thursday so I had to buy some more strawberries. My boyfriend LOVES strawberries so we brought half a box (it had about 9 small green boxes in it I believe). These weren't as sweet as the first ones we brought. While I was going through some to eat today, there were a few that were moldy. It was pretty hard to miss also, extremely disappointed. (Minus a star). Might not buy so much next time and definitely checking each and every one of them before I make any purchase."
"I love this place! The bread... did I mention the bread... don't forget the bread!! Only available on weekends after about 10am... the fresh bread is AMAZING!!!! Veggies are great too. Yeah, this place is out there a bit... but go for a nice drive in the country and come back with some farm fresh stuff... you will not regret it!! Lots of wineries in the area too... make a day out of it!! I'm local and this is a regular weekend stop for me now!"
"My favorite produce stand ! Great prices , and very kind ! Come here instead of the Monte vista one . This has better quality !"
