"Today I returned to the Queen Bean after an absence of many years. I didn't intentionally "stop going" as much as it is not on my daily/weekly routes around town. So this was a special trip for lunch. I ordered the Tuscan sandwich and a Cafe Americano. The ordering process was smooth, the barista said she would bring it out to me, which she did in a reasonable amount of time, even though I had gone outside (there were no seats inside and the front porch seemed a bit warm. The sandwich was well made and the ingredients plentiful and flavorful. I could only eat half as there was that much. I also ordered a bag of jalapeno chips, which were so greasy I was glad that I hadn't used hair gel and now had some place to put the lipids. (The chips were not the fault of the QB, just the dummy who ordered them.)My only comment is that I hope they fix the noisy window AC unit, which impeded my ability to hear the sirens and oversized trucks on Needham revving their engines (this is Modesto after all). Actually, it was a nice lunch, served by nice folks who work for even nicer folks. I may well be back soon, I can't wait for the back decks to be repaired so there is more seating."

I only wish they had speakers outdoors. The music they were playing inside was great. Definitely will be back for more."

"Whenever I'm in my hometown, I Come over to grab a sea salt coffee. My friend from Irvine who is Korean recommended this place and I love it! I always grab a pastry as well. I love the individually wrap pastries, it's like a little present. This time I had the jalapeño and cream cheese pastry and I ate it in seconds. Our cashier was very friendly and helpful along with a very organized and clean atmosphere. I wish they had more seating at this place but since covid it is rare."

Our car was parked near this shop.Immediately as we entered the shop is the order counter to the right. The menu board offered a variety of items including a nice selection of sandwiches, soups, salads, espresso drinks, beverages and snacks. Ahead is a very cheerful and clean dining area. Table seating was very well spaced for social distancing and the walls had cheery mural painting. They were about to close shop for the day so the patio seating outside was already put away, otherwise they had a nice outdoor seating under shady trees.We ordered smoothies and my daughter got some cookies to go. The Pokémon-themed cookie caught her eye. My Strawberry Banana Smoothie was delicious and refreshing and hubby enjoyed his Avocado Smoothie. The next time we're back in Lodi I'd like to try the sandwiches. The two ladies were nice and friendly, not too chatty, perhaps tired from a long day. Review #2585"

"My husband and I had Grubhub deliver from here. First, we ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. It was really good. Ok, so, it's extra to add bacon. I honestly did not mind because the bacon was that big thick bacon. I loved it. I even shared the sandwich with my husband. It's a good size sandwich. We also got a couple doughnuts. The doughnuts were really good. We ordered a cream filled chocolate bar and a glazed doughnut. We received a cream filled chocolate bar, a regular chocolate glazed donut and 5 doughnut holes. I thought that was great. I think they were out of the glazed and substituted instead. I was like, "YAAAY, bonus doughnuts" . As we waited for my bagel and drink there appeared to be a lot of regulars getting their coffee fix. I had a good experience, especially since the vegetarian bagel hit the spot just like it did the first time I had it. I was not disappointed with their bagel. It was one of the highlights of this spot."

When I arrived it was in a familiar parking lot, ( my previous nail shop ) plenty of parking and easy to find. When I walked in, I was impressed with the decor and various drinks and food options. After reviewing the menu I ordered a matcha added lavender and vanilla. I only added lavender because I love lavender teas and lemonades. The matcha was delicious, next time I'll leave the lavender out. I also ordered a Turkey and cheese croissant which was tasty as well. They give you your drink in this cute cup. I will be back with my daughter, they also have a kids menu. I want to try a little bit of everything honestly. Highly recommend stopping by here!"

"Had to come into the city to get some papers at the courthouse very early on a very cold morning and afterwards was walking down the street and found this little coffeehouse. I can't have sugar so I popped in expecting to get a regular latte like I usually get but decided to ask if they have sugar free options, and found out they have tons! The inside was really nice, they have a bookshelf and tons of seating. Also, I don't know who the artist is but I really enjoyed the hilarious hand-drawn tip sign. Feels like a classic cafe with tons of personality and a great place to chill. Also, my latte came out quick, hot, and delicious. I definitely recommend checking this place out."

The donuts are crispy on the outside and pillowy soft, airy and risen to perfection on the inside. The donut decor makes me want to decorate baked goods again, they are so clever. When the donut shop closes, they take the remainder of that days stick and sell it next door at Sam's Pizza- so don't feel bad if it's after closing. You can still get a delicious donut. They have recently started updating the inside and I love it. It's very clean and the owners are super nice. Like, so nice. Anyway. If I were to make a suggestion, I would say Wifi access and some music would be nice. This place is doing a fantastic job with the product. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed."

The sandwhich had a good amount of meat and flavor was top notch! The crepe was the perfect amount of sweet and totally hit the spot! It was a little pricey all together, but they didn't hold back on the amount of food they give you, so that's a big plus! For us we just know it's more of a treat, than a regular stop! However, if we were just to go for coffee it's very comparable to the rest of the local coffee shops. Much preferred over the place that's got three stores here in Oakdale nowHad two Pigs in a Blanket to begin with. Only $3 so that they be small - wrong, they're good size and the sausage was pretty dang good. They got them out pretty quick (we gobbled them up before I could get a pic)Also got the Berry Groove waffle. Good covering of sliced strawberries and blueberries. Good flavor to the waffle. Had a little syrup left over from the Pigs in a Blanket which I poured on the waffles (I like mine sweeter than most folks). Didn't come with a container of syrup - probably would have been given one if I asked. A little slow at the moment getting the waffles out. The gent at the counter said they needed to get/getting more waffle irons. Underestimated the demand I think, which can be a good problem. So solid performance. Hope they keep up the momentum. Oakdale can use a nice little alternative like this!"
