"I loved my ramen. This place was pleasantly surprising. I had no issues with my order and the staff was very kind!"
"I haven't had Luu's Chciken Bowl since I was a kid, we grew up eating it from their restaurant in the Eastside of Stockton. Recently at work we were talking about getting lunch and someone brought up Luu's, saying they haven't had it in forever either. So we went to the one on Pacific Ave, went through the drive through. Service was quick, prices are actually still pretty reasonable given how long they've been around and everywhere else keeps raising prices. I got the #1 which is the regular chicken bowl, I think it was around $8.95. Comes with the chciken, veggies and rice. We even got some chicken egg rolls. The bowl was good, still worth trying. The egg rolls were ok, I didn't care too much for them but OK. Definitely recommend for a quick lunch for a great price."
Chow fun is a thick, wide, flat, white colored noodles. Comes with onion and bean sprouts. Cooked with soy sauce.

"This place is a no for me...food was passable but just barely. Service was fine but nothing out of the ordinary. The restaurant itself is dark, dank and kind of depressing and in much need of an update. With so many other Chinese options around I highly doubt I'd return."
"I was in Stockton on Business the Other day!!!Then I got a little Hangry !!!LoL!!!So I Checked My Yelp App and Sherman's Buffet 2 popped up!!!I haven't been to a Buffet in years!!!!So I rolled to Sherman's Buffet!Found it easily enough and Parked right out front!! I rolled in to Sherman's Buffet 2 to find out it is not a Buffet at all!!!No Buffet at All!!!!It's a To - Go Fast Food Restaurant!!!And That's It!!!!!Ok !!!Time to Adapt and Overcome!!!!The place is Popular it's a Chinese Fast Food Restaurant!!!!They keep their Food Stocked up in their Steam Tables!!!!There was a Line Out the Door!!!!I jumped in to the Line and waited!!The Line Moved Slow !!!The People in Line were buying Multiple Meals!!!!! LoL Finally it was my turn !!!I ordered the Vegetable Chow Mein ,Sweet and Sour Pork And Mongolian Chicken Meal I also Bought 5 Boneless Fried Chicken Thighs!!! Servers were Attentive and Fast !!!!Very Efficient!!!!Prices are Post Biden definitely effected by inflation!!!My food cost $18 Dollars!!! On the higher end of the Price Spectrum!!!I ate the food and it was Tasty!!!!I would go again if I was in the Area!!!I keep my Pimp Hand Strong!!!"
"Great food, fast service in both drive thru and dine in. Would definitely recommend and come here again! :)"
"Quick cheap Chinese for dinner! My family frequently gets take out for days we don't feel like cooking. Our go to are the chow mein, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, fried fish and mushroom chicken. We also like the egg drop soup and add extra garlic chili. They are also open on major holidays so I can order party trays! I do a special order of chicken chow mein and salt and pepper shrimp. Both are always a win at family gatherings."
"I've been to Jade Fountain a few times since it changed ownership and I have to say, I have been very pleasantly surprised. I first had the Seafood Noodle Soup, which was really good. It had a good amount of seafood as well as vegetables, and a broth that is exactly as you might expect. I really enjoyed it. Next I had their Beef and Broccoli rice dish, which is basically a takeout container with half the item you ordered and half steamed white rice. The Beef and Broccoli was pretty standard, so no surprises in quality or flavor. Tonight I had their Orange Peel Chicken, which although is not something I would typically order, I felt that I should check it out because that is a specific dish that most casual Chinese food eaters will wonder about. First, let me say that although it is orangey, the flavor doesn't jump out at you, and that is because it doesn't have hints of vinegar like Panda Express. This isn't a bad thing, although I do like the vinegariness that some places have. It also didn't have any bits of peppers so it was not spicy at all. Overall the flavor was very good and probably the best I've had in town from a family owned restaurant. The chunks of chicken were also good because you could taste/feel the meat, it wasn't all batter like most places. The dish was also garnished with some broccoli, which I found was a welcome touch. The one thing I was kind of bummed about was that the crispiness had gone by the time I brought it back home. I would recommend to the owners (and all restaurants serving this dish) to include the sauce on the side so that it can be crisp and fresh for takeout. All in all a very good experience. They are also very fast, I don't live very far away and I can leave my house after calling in the order and it was ready by the time I got there, generally ten minutes or less.I haven't eaten inside, but the ambiance is very calm, and there is seating for small groups. Come support this great local business!"
"The best beef pho I have had in a long time here in Stockton. The service was great, very welcoming and attentive. The restaurant was clean! Lots of tables for dining. I will definitely be back soon for more delicious Pho!"
"If your looking for a decent Chinese meal at a reasonable price, Sengs is a good choice. Only a couple tables to dine in, nothing fancy. The food was good and fresh. We had lunch plates. Sweet n Sour Pork, pork fried rice and chicken chow mein. We also ordered cream cheese wonton's that were really good. No soda machine, drinks come in a bottle and are $2 each. $28 for 2 lunch plates, appetizer and 2 drinks. Not bad for these days."
"The food can be a hit or miss honestly. I'm just here to mention the lack of air conditioning in the summer. You start sweating the second you enter the building and you're not the entire time you're there eating. There's no air flow whatsoever and that does suck just a bit. Owners are absolutely sweet people and I love them I just wish the air conditioning was a thing that worked."
"Visible and nice staff/service. The usual what you see in an asian buffet but good food. Tables are clean, however seats need a lot of tender lovin'. Scared we might be sink in or swallbwed anytime. hah. Tables spaciously placed, plenty of room to walk around."
"One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Turlock!!! My son loves this place also and we got at least twice a month. We usually order our food to go and eat at home, I'm not too thrilled with eating there, but they give you soooo much food, we always have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day! I have pretty much tried everything on the menu. My kiddo loves the orange chicken, he never orders anything differently lol. My favorites are the almond & string bean chicken combo plates, broccoli beef, sweet & sour pork, anything Szechuan and/or Kung pao flavored (beef, chicken, seasfood/shrimp) and of course, pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, eggs rolls & potstickers are bomb!! (We never have any of those leftover ). Tastes just as good the next day! Highly recommend."

Went through the drive thru and it was quick and simple. Always good with their added spice and sauce. Chicken wasn't dry nor was the rice. Thought I'd share an updated menu because the most recent one was almost a decade ago.

So I just got off work and I had to drop off some stuff at a friends house and I was craving something different, I definitely did not want to cook on a Friday night so I wanted something fast and easy and not be waited on so I decided to come to Sherman's buffet #2 it has a very small entrance with cramped quarters, you can either have food to go, or eat the buffet. I chose the buffet I decided to forgo the drink for $1.85 and I just don't think that's worth it but the meal was definitely worth it, for less than $11.00 you can eat decent buffet especially when you're hungry. Surprisingly the ladies behind the counter were very friendly not all rude like other Asian buffets and very helpful. I asked for white rice instead of pork fried rice (the white rice is in the back) so they asked, "how much you want a lot a little? That was kind of funny I said, I don't know, enough to match my food" she thought that was funny too, so they bring another plate with white rice, and I proceeded to get my orange chicken, broccoli beef, you know, all the usual, it was all extremely good especially the deep fried string beans they were breaded panko style. I was a little disappointed they didn't have any soup as displayed on the window but that's OK I ate, and went for second nobody bothered me. People watched as they came in and ordered food to go. It was a nice dinner for one experience. Would I come here again? Definitely, if I'm craving cheap Chinese food. And what I mean by cheap is, inexpensive as far as the quality. I was OK with it.

"Want a easy and quick lunch? This is the spot. I went in after my Savemart trip and got a 3 item plate for 8 bucks. The lady packed it really hefty and I was in and out within 5 minutes. I almost felt like I was ripping them off for the price and portion. The place is tidy, maybe about one or two tables for seating. The food is served like hot lunch kind of similar to Panda Express. There were a good amount of options to choose from your orange chicken, veggies, to sweet and sour pork. I saw that Galt China also does catering! The food here is delicious! My chow mein, orange chicken, and general chicken was bomb. I was skeptical at first but I got to give them credit for price and quality.I will definitely return here for Chinese food."
"Always a solid throwback Chinese from my childhood! Their food is consistent and their service never dissapoints."
"SO. MUCH. FLAVOR! Seriously delicious. Definitely spicy!! But the perfect heat!! Try this place out!!"
"Great hidden gem for Chinese food and barbecue in Stockton. I came in on a whim for lunch since I was craving some Asian-style fried chicken and roast pork. It's an older establishment, and not much to look at. They have a dining area, however they roped it off so I guess no dine-in experience and just take out. It's a pretty casual place and definitely gives off the mom-pop vibes. You order at the counter and the food is cooked to order, so be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for your food. You can also phone in your order if you'd like. I ordered their fried chicken, 1/2 pound of roast pork, spicy string beans, and their salted fish + chicken fried rice. The chicken was fried to perfection. The skin was light, thin, and crispy; the meat was juicy. My only complaint was that it was saltier than what I would have liked. The roasted pork was also done well. The meat was tender and the skin nice and crispy. The string beans had a hint to spiciness, but not too overbearing and were cooked to the right doneness. The salted fish + chicken fried rice was ok. I was hoping the salted fish was finer, but they used bigger chunks of it. The fried rice was also on the saltier side and I wish they had just been a little lighter on their salt. Overall a great spot to grab food. They were pretty busy for a Tuesday lunch crowd. They definitely had their regulars coming in and out to pick up orders."
"I gave 5 stars because the customer service was excellent and the food was good. Normally I take soy sauce to season the food but it was not needed. I definitely recommend this place."
"The food is really good and I'm surprised that I can find a good place to get Chinese food. Mongolian Beef is always my to go and it's fast too"
"Great food. Love the Egg Flower Soup. Wonderful service. Typical Chinese atmosphere. Neat and clean."
"I've actually always loved this place. This place has been around since I was a young girl. I actually got my chow mein and fried rice catered from here for my wedding and got many compliments for my buffet food line. Will definitely continue to order from them."
"Got the Moshe Pork and War Won Ton Soup. Why Do they Give You a Whole Big ContainerOf the Filling for the Moshe Pork and ThenONLY 3 Wraps and a 1/2 Filled Little ContainerOf the Plum Sauce..???It's Ridiculous..!!"
"We ordered through Door Dash, but everything was fresh and still hot. We really liked the food and will definitely be ordering again. We also ordered egg rolls, but they have a weird taste to them.. I can pinpoint what the taste is but it doesn't taste like Chinese egg rolls."
"Recently went here for Father's Day for my husband and they have dine in. We had dim sum and everything was good. I heard the dim sum chef is from San Francisco. The price has gone up since the last time we were here. It is pricey. Because of the price we most likely won't eat here as often but definitely would come back again someday."
"Good food Good service Go to spot Family does enjoy this flavorful dishes offered daily. We always call in order. Each container comes stuffed.Enough food for two, generous portions ,food alway fresh. Great egg foo young ,broccoli beef ,general chicken ,fried rice and all noodles are tasty. We are always are pleased when we pick order. Owners and staff realy care about thier customers. I appreciate this eatery and will continue to support this location. Look forward to this week dinner from our local neighborhood spot.I send friends and ang family and we usually order for family events. If have not tried spot you are missing out.Great price, plentiful meals packed full."
"We love lees, their chicken in foil is really good. The staff is very nice and service is good"
"Always consistently good. I've enjoyed this place for years and have always returned when I need a good bowl of pho"
"It's funny because I go here a lot, but I only buy certain items, it will be up to you what you like, I like the dry fried pork, the low meign, and they have a combination of Chinese and Ametican food, I don't like the turkey dinner, the steaks are hit and miss, they have a good liver with bacon and onions, human chicken is great, and curry chicken with white rice, give it a try and if you like it tell them I sent you, if you don't like it then I never said a word and remember do not eat more than you can carry"
"I don't even know where to start... we walked into a simple yet lovely little place in downtown Hughson. It was bright, spacious and cool (it was 100° out). The server was welcoming and told us to grab whatever seat we wanted. We started out with the garlic edamame... I am pretty sure they brine them in salt water... the garlic was everywhere and yummy! The one thing I liked is I didn't feel rushed to eat... it was a big plate and we had time to eat it. We ordered the 12 piece sashimi, the tuna was good but we saved the salmon and yellow fin (I think) for last... melt in your mouth goodness... the ocean torch was good but my favorite out of the two was the Gorilla roll... I would recommend this restaurant for both the sushi and Chinese food. We watched HUGE platters coming out to tables and they were for one person! You could easily share it. What a find!"
"wow glad i found this placeit's next to the bangkok and shirashonifresh and delish i like it a lot"
"Let me start off by saying I'm not huge on Chinese food.Buuuuuut every once in a while I'll have a craving.Tonight is started with wanting hot and sour soup- turned into a whole family meal. The soup was absolutely delicious. Love it. The chow mien was really good, nice flavor. The fried rice, nice and fluffy. The main entrees of beef and broccoli, black bean chicken and lemon chicken were all full of flavor! Will definitely be returning !"
"3 1/2 stars based on my last few tries. I have been a long-time patron (mainly take-out) over the years, going all the way back to when they used to be located by Mountain Mike's. I must say their quality has gone downhill the past few years. There are now numerous better Chinese restaurants in town, something I honestly couldn't say 6-7 years ago. The staff continues to be great. However, not sure if they changed cooks or what, but something has caused a decline."
"Very good food for a very rare decent price. It's hard to find good food for these prices these days. The workers and owner is very friendly."
"My favorite place downtown for a filling meal and always feel so warm eating it! My go to is the garlic chicken and chow mein. The chicken in all sauce options are the same, unless you get breast, and it is SO crispy! Absolutely AMAZING! So much sauce and still so crunchy, the best!"
"Great food , house chowmein rice wonton soup with spinach. Really really good!!! Best in town!!'"
"Mei Mei comes in clutch. Classic Chinese food options with the incredible convenience of delivery. And the service is always friendly and fast.I've been to parties where the host has ordered from them too and the vegetarian egg rolls is a show stopper. Don't expect the egg rolls to stay delicious the next day though. That just means you need to scarf em down while they're fresh. The location of Mei Mei's isn't my favorite. A little shady, but I think that is a secret sauce to any good Chinese restaurant. At least there's lots of parking. But like I said the delivery option is super clutch so definitely take advantage of you're local. Make sure you tip the driver!"
