"They may not be at the Empire Theater, but Empresso still has that local coffee shop feeling. They food was excellent and the drinks were even better. The Iced Ginger lemon tea was perfect for this hot morning. On their specials, today was the salami pepperocini panini, Im hoping it'll still be on rotation when i come back. I only wish they had speakers outdoors. The music they were playing inside was great. Definitely will be back for more."
""This is the best cheesecake I've ever had."My friend said this 5 bites into the lemon cheesecake. The curd topping, smooth cheesecake, slightly sweet whip and yummy crust all work together perfectly. This place is better than Ettore's or Freeport Bakery--and we've ordered 100's of times from both. Less crowded and less hipster with really good pastries! Almost didn't post to keep this place a secret."
"Phew, I guess one way to tell that you're at a bakery is that the inside is a hot box! It felt like a sauna here lol I'm guessing from all of the ovens running?Anyway, the cakes that I tried here were amazing! The carrot cake was one of the best that I've had. Super moist and flavorful with all of the right spices. The cream cheese frosting had the perfect sweetness to it as well. The princess cake was pleasantly light and I was really surprised that the marzipan on top wasn't overly rich at all (usually I remove some of it when eating a princess cake because of how sweet it typically is). Definitely would consider getting a whole cake version of it for a celebration. The lemon bar was alright; had a little bit of a lemon dishwasher taste to it but nothing too bad. Wasn't the biggest fan of the cannoli here as I prefer cannoli fillings with much less sugar. Enjoyed the crunchy shell though.Lastly I tried the iced coffee. Taste wasn't anything to write home about but it was still pretty smooth. Was actually quite stronger than expected.Small bakery with a few tables for dining. Located in a strip mall with plentiful parking. Overall recommend checking this spot out especially if you're looking for some European pastries/cakes in the area!"
"This bakery is such a local treasure! I contacted them to see if they could make bear cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday and I provided a couple examples. They said they could, but I was still somewhat skeptical how well they would turn out. They exceeded every expectation! They were absolutely adorable - and they truly tasted as amazing as they looked. Worth every penny!"
"My sons school had Jazzpreso for an event. His drinks are superior to other coffee places. I am so glad I got to experience some of his drinks. I got matcha latte and his homemade chai. Matcha was great but his chai was the best I've ever had! I'm going to be dreaming of his chai it is so so good."
"We went up to Sutter Creek today for a family outing. I checked the Yelp reviews yesterday and came up with 6 lunch options. We had 6 Adults and a pair of grandkids and I guessed some restaurants weren't going to have a big table for all of us. This place looked fine though.Corina and I split a Pastrami Reuben on sourdough. They served us on two plates and each of us got one of their yummy dill spears. The 1/2 sandwich was the perfect size for each of us and they were great tasting. I had a cup of delicious clam chowder on the side and an Amador Dirty Blonde ale that was pretty tasty. I need to find a source for that down here in Elk Grove. We will come back here again."
"I decided to order a triple decker club and fries for pick up on Sunday so I didn't have to cook for football. I called to place the pick up order and was told they did not take phone orders bcz it was busy at the restaurant, so I decided to wait at the counter for it. And it did take awhile close to 30 min. I enjoyed reading a free spiritual booklet while waiting..... It was a delicious sandwich and the fries held up on my travel back to the game. We were very happy and will go back for this club sandwich."
"Delicious sandwich. I always enjoy their food and also Turkish coffee. Atmosphere is pleasant"
"Good food. Service is great too. The salads and appetite are good as well. If you wanna order to pick up they're also quick too. My fave is the lasagna"
"This place has the potential to be a superstar however it is very hit and miss in terms of customer service and wait. Sometimes you get a friendly cashier/barista and sometimes you get someone with the personality of a wet towel idly passing their time. The coffee is tasty but if you're looking for a pick me up you'd need to add some shots of espresso. The pastries are off the hook through flakey pastry. Their toasts are great just sometimes a long wait. Coffee tend to be a longer wait too as there's one espresso machine. The ambiance is cute and contemporary."
"Food , service and the environment is all awesome. Not one bad thing to say about this place. I pass it daily on highway 99 and I know the factory is here but did not know about the restaurant.10/10 recommend coming here ."
"As stated by the previous review, very limited menu. However considering there aren't a lot of places nearby it is convenient especially if you're staying at the RV Resort. We had a bagel which was good and very fresh. The staff was very friendly, and suggested a few things to do while in the area. Additionally they have a small selection of RV accessories and parts as well as other gift shop type items."

Coffee is great, service is super weak. I was the only customer in the entire building, but they couldn't be bothered to pause their conversation and let me know my drink was ready. That's why I don't tip before receiving service!

I ate at the famous Pietro's this week, twice, and had some of the bread they served. One is baked in-house, the other, was sliced sourdough. Wow. Found out they get it at Rudy's. Well, I sought it out.Holy. The green chile-cheese filled croissant with everything was unbelievably good. The cranberry-orange scone devine. But the bread, huge and $12 was worth every penny.More about the bread: i had it right from the bag, with butter, as a sandwich...and I'm totally in love with it. It has a little something extra that is a truly memorable bread. The only thing I had that wasn't 5 star was the drip coffee, and the gf agreed with her latte, bitter.

We needed breakfast and coffee during our travels and found Euro Star Café near the freeway. We ordered brunch items including cappuccino, macchiato, green tea latte, ham & Swiss croissant, pastrami, macaron, mix berry smoothie, and mango smoothie. All the food and drinks were delicious and the low prices can't be beat. There is a small variety of things to eat from breakfast sandwiches to lunch sandwiches. They have smoothies, frappes, Italian sodas, and the typical café espresso drinks.Euro Star Café created a European atmosphere of calmness from the friendly workers to the beautiful paintings/pictures/video, to the pleasant music. It is a most pleasant experience and it is close to the freeway with easy parking. Quite a jewel to find.

Great food and coffee. Lunch too. We drive all the way from Escalon to go here. I'm now writing more words as Yelp won't allow me to post unless there are 85 characters. They do custom cakes here as well

Best gyros I've ever had! The service was so fast and fresh! We had a party of 15 and our food was out within minutes and piping hot! The gyros meat is so thick and delicious and the tzatziki sauce was a perfect pair. It's right across from the college but there's always parking in the back. The fries were so crispy and thin, my favorite kind! The restaurant itself is so clean and everyone is consistently using gloves and changing them out for new ones. Love this spot, will definitely be eating here again!

"Such a cute little café! I met up with an old friend here to sit, chat, and enjoy some sweet treats, and it was perfect. I had their Crème Brûlée Latte, which was absolutely delicious, and the strawberry shortcake crepe, which was just as amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, the seating is adorable, and the whole place has such a warm, welcoming vibe. It does get a little busy, but that just goes to show how great it is! Definitely a spot I'd come back to."
"The absolute best Mexican food. The albondigas are fire!!! It's my husband and I, our favorite Sunday lunch spot."
"Definitely my favorite sandwich shop in all of Patterson, small hole in the wall, family owned and operated. Husband runs the restaurant and wife runs the adjoining floral shop. If you are in the area I would recommend checking this place out!"
"First time being here! I've always looked at the reviews to find that there are no pictures of the space or pictures of the menu, so I decided to do a more detailed review. I've heard of this place a few times and finally had time to try it out!Visually: It's a cute, decorated, and very spacious place. Super clean, spread out, and different types of seating; whether you like sitting in a high chair, low chair, or a booth. The booths have access to charging which is a must especially if you'll be working here for awhile. The tables are big and wide which is a huge plus! Most of the other coffee shops in town don't have big tables so it always feels crammed and hard to do work, but thankfully the tables here are big enough to bring out your stuff and work.Internet: They do give out internet codes that are valid for an hour after you log in. I don't see it as an inconvenience, but I feel that some people might. It's a super easy process to log in, so not a problem for me. I think the place being connected to Merced County of Education could be the reason why they might have to keep track of wifi usage, given that maybe there are students who work here or are in the space.Service: Excellent service! Nice and polite staff. If you're seated, they will bring you your drinks and food, which is really nice, especially if you're working! I saw the staff, sanitizing the tables and seats after customers sat down and left.Menu: Huge variety of drinks. What's available is hot or cold coffee, tea, smoothies, fountain drinks, juice, and water. They have a pretty big breakfast, lunch, and salad menu. All items are served at all hours of their opening hours, which is very convenient! What I ordered:Drink: Hot Matcha Latte with an extra scoop of matcha and substituted the milk for oatmilk. It was pretty good, I would definitely get it again.Food: Full, Hot, Tuscan Chicken Sandwich on Honey Wheat Bread with Pesto Aioli, provolone cheese all veggies and Avocado Absolutely delicious, would definitely get it again! Super fresh! Your food comes out on a tray if you're eating here, it's nicely wrapped, and they cut your sandwich in half which is very convenient for me! Overall, I love the space and intentionality. The staff is extremely friendly, they checked up on us and made us feel comfortable. The food and drinks were delicious. Awesome place to do work, grab a drink and food!"
"First time there and I was greeted by a very kind, inviting and great customer service oriented man. I did not have a long wait maybe less than 5 minutes for everything I ordered.I ordered a turkey croissant breakfast sandwich, a lavender ice coffee and cinnamon roll donut. everything was perfect. They have a variety of foods such as açaí bowls, breakfast sandwiches, donuts, coffee, boba and more. I went in around 11am on a Friday so the ambiance was quiet, clean and pleasant. It's a very small town vibe which I admire. it's an order at the counter and have a seat establishment!I definitely recommend! I would 100% return and probably try something new each time. P.S There is a school down the street so I can only assume this place would become so busy once schools out."
"Food is so good definitely the best I've had in the area cold brew horchata was fire taquitos were crispy and flavorful and above all the tinga was bomb it's better than my sister in laws"
"We've been frequenting Camp 4 for many years, so I find it hard to believe that I've never reviewed it before! Simply put, this is the absolute best date spot in Modesto, Quick tip: make a reservation, just makes things easier. When you first walk in, you immediately notice the ambiance, and the front area is dimly lit seems kind of small, but it's the perfect atmosphere to enjoy yourself and your company. But don't think that's all, there is a huge annex in the back that can accommodate larger parties. The food is simply incredible, they almost always have something special on the menu that they didn't the month before. Always gives you something new to try. The wine selection is awesome and they offer wine flights, if you'd like to try a few different wines at once. I've tried most things on the menu, from the paninis to the baller board. I cannot recommend the baller board enough, it's an absolute enormous selection of meats, cheeses, nuts, and fruit selections. They explain the entire board and give you all the details about each item. Please, give Camp 4 a try if you haven't already. I promise it'll be your next go to spot."
"Great Mexican food and service. Super nice. Bbq in the summer was so good too. The chile verde was particularly good"
"First time here. Wow so many menu options! It's packed in this place so be prepared to be snug. One bathroom stalls, on for men's and one for women's. The coffee is a must and they refill. It's strong so just an fyi, but that's the kind I like. The staff is super friendly and the food comes in good portions. I plan to come back for lunch!"
"Best little stop you could make. Fresh donuts and great sandwiches. Everyone is super nice and the service is quick even with a line. You'll be glad you stopped here!"
"Definitely recommend Sams's to all that ask. I only wish they were open a bit later so I can have their breakfast for dinner too! The service is always quick even when the are busy. The wait staff is super nice. I have lived down the block from them for almost 10 years would eat here every meal If I could but I've got bills to pay too. It is always clean sometimes a bit loud but still a great place to eat."
"Came here because of all the rating but this was a one time visit. Got a latte and a sandwich, sandwich was good but the coffee tasted burnt. Not sure what was going on but the server just could not be bothered. I felt I was interrupting a conversation. I am not one to give a bad review on a one time experience so I will give a three but I will say I was disappointed."
"Best Chicken Fried steak ever. Plates are so big. We split and were completely full. Service was excellent. Love love all the decorations"
"I came in here because I was waiting for my car across the street & I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee is delicious and learned that they use beans from popular Sacramento coffee producers such as Old Soul, Chocolate Fish & Naked Coffee. Also, I had the Berkeley Bagel which was amazing! Owner & staff were super friendly. Note: if it takes time to get your stuff, be patient. Great establishments become popular therefore takes more time to get your products. If your coffee is sitting there, don't wait for it. Go get it! They may serve you but they're NOT your servants."
"Nice and QUIET!This evening we (my fiancée and I) brought her mom out for dinner on our way to a concert.Place was clean, friendly, and quiet.Go for dinner (no one there).Tonight my Fiancées mom had the senior plate of chicken fried steak (Wow! That thing can feed a few seniors). My Fiancée had the Chile verde and eggs (great flavor).I had the French toast combo with bacon (on point).Come get your country cooking fix (at night) and enjoy the chill atmosphere."
"Love joe on the go, food is excellent service and food is exceptional, I'm never disappointed except I usually eat too much, highly recommend it."
"All kinds of gear for camping, boating, and mostly fishing, but with a nice cafe with a good view, a tank full of fish and a couple of pool tables a cool place to kill some time. Two kinds of beer, Bud and Bud Light available in pitchers. If you're in the area I recommend you visit and meet the friendly staff."
"Excellent scrambles! Service wonderful, far surpasses usual coffee shop fare! A must if you are in the area!"
"We checked out Frank's for breakfast on the way back home to Sacramento this morning! It's located in a cute little area right in downtown Manteca. The inside is small with a few tables inside and outside with that old school diner feel.We ordered the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, French Toast and the Downtown Omelette. All the food was very good and were large portions as well! We loved how the chorizo was not greasy and I loved the uniqueness of their coffee options like the Mexican Chocolate Iced Coffee. The staff were also very friendly and attentive. They were hustling around and making sure all of the orders were coming out fast. We will definitely visit the next time we are in town!Check them out!"
"A friend of mine recently had to pay off a bet (Nov. 6th (think about it) and wanted to go to the rustic Lodi Airport Cafe (LAC). Reluctantly, I agreed to glide-in knowing the last time I ate there was about 15 years ago, it was about a 2outa10. So, I backed the old P-51 (SUV) out of the hangar, checked the fuel gauge (stomach on MT), buckled-up, flaps down, right-rudder and set the Magnetic Gyro for Hwy99&Jahant Rd. Compensating for wind, rain and too many patrons, tiedowns were available at 11:15AM without incident near the front door and no TSA insight to check my metal "Wings" money-clip! Cabin seating was no reservations, and we found a window-seat to watch the take-off and landings of this busy venue. We ordered the 1/2-pound BBQ-Burger, med.Rare, with the works, garlic fries and the mixed fruit water pitcher available for the table. In about 10 minutes, a successful delivery, no chute! The burger and fries were TOP-FLIGHT with a perfect mix of savory sauce and greens on the burger and nice sprinkling of garlic on the fries. 11outa10 makes for a great lunch! This place is more than a "Good-Landing!" (Don't forget a thumbs up)"
"We came here after a 2/3 day at Leland Snow Play (strongly suggest for kids who are too scared to ski/snowboard. I'm honestly not sure if I was just SUPER hungry or what, but this place was a lot better than expected. Food: The kids ordered hamburgers, I ordered a Chicken Fried Steak, and the wife ordered Chicken Alfredo. All were good! Not GREAT but good. The pasta was rich and the chicken wasn't overdone. The Chicken Fried steak was well... Chicken fried steak, not sure what you'd want out of it.Service:We waited a while for our server. This is the sole reason we had a -1 star. Originally, I joked it's because we had 8 people and they had already earned their 20% tip. But nope, they were like that with everyone. They came by, introduced themselves, and walked away. I would give them -2 stars for service, but i mean, everything came out hot, just slowly.Cleanliness:The floor was sticky... like REALLY sticky. A little offputting how sticky it was. It was only under my chair which meant that it ended up being the last patron spilled their soda and it was never cleaned. Everything else was very clean though so there's that.Overall the price was okay given the area and the kicker was that we were there on a Sunday and they had a great deal of "buy an entree get a free dessert". We'd probably go back again if we're in the area. It was a good time, a very looong good time."
"I had visited this restaurant a few years ago when I used to live in Waterford, CA. However, I never submitted a review. While on Yelp, I noticed a request to submit a review for this restaurant .I am more that happy to oblige with a 5 star review since I had a great experience in this small but very hospitable restaurant with a small town feel. Their meatloaf was exceptional the couple of times I tried it. If they still offer it, you must try it. They have the traditional breakfast fares and lunch servings, but I don't recall them being open for dinner. So do check before you visit. You will be served with a smile and you can expect to get a great tasting meal."
"We've been wanting to come to DeeDee's for a while. We're sure glad that we stopped in this morning! We received a very warm, friendly greeting, and all of the staff were very nice right out of the gate. We opted to sit outside as we brought our dog, Jack, with us. That said, our awesome server indicated that if Jack was well behaved, we could sit inside. (We opted to stay outside, just in case any of our fellow diners didn't want to eat with our dog.)It was a busy Sunday morning, but despite that, we received very quick and efficient service. Our server was nice, friendly, and attentive and definitely an excellent server. You could tell that she was experienced, which makes all the difference when serving a house full of hungry diners! The food was delicious! We both ordered omelette combos, along with a half order of biscuits and gravy to share. Holy smokes! Everything was great and we licked our plates clean. Jack, our dog, who received an order of two scrambled eggs, happily licked up anything that we missed. Five paws up for DeeDee's!"
