"Derek Jr built an amazing custom stand up ski haul that I purchased called The Apex and Derek Sr did a super awesome job of dialing in the motor, carbs, etc. for me so I walked away with bad ass tricked out custom stand up ski. Their service was excellent, communication excellent, and pricing very fair. If you need someone to take care of you and your Jet Ski addiction, look no further than The Ski Clinic. Thanks Sr. & Jr !!!!!"
"Ok, I've been a camping trailer guy but I think it might be time for me to evolve... who doesn't want a Mastercraft??? I think I do and when it's time to get the ultimate boat I'm going to count on Mike and Bill in Rocklin to get me set up with the perfect one- they're awesome and I won't buy a boat from anyone else. I can't wait!"
"Incredible work, on time, top notch mechanics and the detail job they did on my boat was FANTASTIC! I've been to other top recommended shops, many where you have to wait a month to get an appointment, CCBoat Works beats them all! Just finished complete upper/lower maintenance on 2002 Bayliner 195 Capri Sport 4.3L mercruiserDon't go anywhere else, Terry in my opinion is the best and you won't be disappointed!"
"Was in a complete pinch since our forklift ran out of propane in the parking lot next to our building at the end of a job. Went to 76 since they advertise they do propane. 76 IS A JOKE! Gold Key is a blessing. They were closing but the manager was completely understanding and found the guys to fill up our propane tank. He went above and beyond to help us out in a pinch and we are completely grateful. As business owners in the business park we really appreciate other business owners working together. He's earned our respect and anytime someone wants to know where to go for storage or other type services, we are definitely recommending. Thank you!"
"I can't say enough good things about this place. Walked in for the very first and I knew this place is special. The staff are amazing. Never pressured me to purchase my boat. I actually went to many different boat dealers. Suisun, San Jose, Disco Bay even as far as Atascadero to get the best deal.... I always find myself coming back here. Mike Furhman, Jake, Donna. I can't thank them enough for treating me not just like a customer but as a friend. I ended up buying my dream boat and I couldn't be happier. Service is top notch as well. Donna always takes care of me. The technicians are high level! If you're looking for a boat, don't just look for the best price, also look for the best service! Larson Marine has it!!"
"Mike is a basically a nice guy but our relationship went bad when he recommended and installed the incorrect Jack for my trailer. I was not able to trailer my boat safely with it and could barely get my trailer onto my truck with the limited hight. I asked numerous times to refund me and take the Jack back, but he got very angry and refused to fix the problem and accused me of being the problem rather than his incorrect part choice. So now I am stuck with the Jack and he gets this bad review. If you hire him, be sure to double check the parts that he orders since apparently you will be stuck with them if they don't fit."
"Recently purchased a Four Winns H2 from Mello Marine. The entire process was organized, professional and friendly. We worked primarily with Sally, Mike and Bobby, who were helpful, prompt and honest.Looking forward to years of enjoyment from our new boat, and will most likely take it back to them for any service or upgrades due to the smooth experience we had during purchase."
"I highly recommend Morrison Marine for any fiberglass work on your boat. I had a few deep scratches that required fiberglass wok and Oswaldo did an amazing job where the area looks brand new and matched the paint to perfection. He's also very humble and great to work with."
"My hat is off to Brian at BT Marine. My boat was showing zero oil pressure on one engine. Brian was recommended to me by a boating friend, so I gave him a call. When I described the circumstances over the phone, he said that it sounded like either an electrical problem or a problem with the sending unit.... and not so much a problem with the actual oil pump in the engine. That sounded good, but I was still apprehensive and made an appointment to have Brian take a look at it.It took a couple of weeks to get an appointment (and it's more like three weeks now) due to being the start of boating season. On the scheduled day Brian called to say he'd be a few minutes late getting to the marina.... a nice touch. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a loose connection and had the engine running, with oil pressure, in no time. What a relief. My take is that Brian is a skilled, honest mechanic and a nice guy. He is now my "go to" guy for future boat problems."
"As a first time boat owner i had no idea how expensive it was to buy parts. Luckily these guys helped out each time and even told me not to buy some parts since it was unnecessary. If they really didn't care they would've just sold me the 100 $ part and called it a day but they advise me not to replace it since it rarely goes out and saved me money which is something anyone would genuinely appreciate"
"This is by far the best boat repair facility in the bay area. I took in a 2006 Bayliner 175 for a diagnostic. Frank was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly honest. I would highly recommend this place for all of your boating needs. I also will be telling all of my family and friends. The price was also extremely reasonable."
"Apparently my original review was removed due to providing the truth about the the previous crook Jason who ran this facility. Thank God there are new people running it. I have come to terms with the fact Jason got away with fraud and extortion."

First off let me say I have been going to Ski Clinic for years, for all my jet ski service and repairs, there is no better place for honest, reliable and reasonable service and repairs. Taunia and Derek run an amazing shop, and there's no job they can't handle. I've sent all my jet ski friends to them for repairs (which you know can be risky making recommendations with friends), and everyone raves about their work. I took my ski in for a repair on June 27th, after backing into a rock and breaking the reverse cable mount on my Seadoo Wake. If you've heard the term "Pay it Forward" all I can say is wow! Derek you are amazing. Many Thanks.

We have had our Mastercraft X2 serviced by Norcal Mastercraft for over 10 years. They have been extremely professional, timely and fun to interact with! The service department is always happy to entertain our numerous questions and make suggestions for how best to accomplish our goals. We have been impressed how they always keep our boat in perfect working order!

Terry replaced a starter on my boat in the Pittsburg Marina. I was relieved that he was willing to travel to the boat and that I didn't have to motor the boat on a single engine to a local boatyard. He was super fast to respond (text and email), got the work done fast and done right. Couldn't be happier. I will definitely be using Contra Costa Boat Works again in the future.

GoldKey staff have made the past year a welcoming experience. Shawn and Jeff are always so professional and kind. They always greet me and ask if they can provide assistance. It makes the tedious experience of having to drive back and forth to storage a pleasurable trip to know that they will take great care of their customers.

What can I say about mello marine? They are great ! A nice family owned establishment that cares if your happy purchase and even after they never stop caring. I went in asking questions about boats and ended up getting a great deal on a brand new Four Winn's 190 ! Brandy helped us out, she doesn't give you the salesman vibe. More so you feel a at home and relaxed vibe which is what I like. The manager, he was very informative and straight to the point. He was very cool through out the process as well. After my purchase I had a couple of user errors, I was able to call them up and get answers/ help immediately! If you want to purchase a new and feel great doing so, I'd recommend you check out mello marine !

I took my boat here to fix 3 separate areas of gelcoat/ fiberglass. All three had some non matching filler from the previous owners diy job, and one of the areas had a void, a big hole with no fiberglass behind it. I wanted them all fixed right by a professional.I was told the repairs were done and picked up my boat from the shop on a Saturday before the owner had looked it over. I wasn't really happy with how one of the 3 repairs turned out so I told the owner and brought the boat back. He said he wished he would have looked it over before I picked it up, and that he wanted me completely satisfied with their work. So he had the repair done again for no additional charge and now I'm 100% satisfied with the completed work. I recommend the shop because he is very friendly and stands behind their work. The outcome was beautiful, you can't even tell where the repairs were done, all three of them.

"Don't kid yourself! These guys are the Shiznit. Do not take your boat to any other repair shop then BOAT MD. they know how to handle business. They are quick. They do quality work at very reasonable prices. Thanks fellas. Highly recommend BOAT MD. I will for sure. Tell all my fellow boat owner friends."
"I've had nothing but good experiences here. Originally came in since we were new to the area and ended up purchasing a used boat. They are always busy but very helpful. Don, Richard and the service dept all great at answering questions and making sure you have a good boat experience."
"Called them to haul out a sailboat. They were very responsive.Hauled it out today. They pressure washed it and it looked great.Nice work and friendly people."
"I didn't get anything done. Just thought the phone conversation I had with them went really well. The chat allowed me to feel trust and comfort with the business, and my initial thought was to bring my boat in for service and diagnosis. I didn't get her name, but the representative was very helpful. I didn't need to bring the boat in after all, but definitely keeping them in mind for future maintenance needs. I appreciate this business' honesty."
"I wish I could give Brett and his crew 6 stars. These guys knocked it out of the park. Had to replace a venturi windscreen on a larger boat and not only was Brett awesome at communicating up front, but he gave me a price that was SUPER fair, had the work done very quickly (for boating standards) and then offered some invaluable advice that was needed to put the screen back together. Not only a well run business but a very nice guy."
"Found issue two other mechanic in Reno could not that was a simple cable replacement and not more expensive other things I tried elsewhere. They also handled 2 other issues with ease that others could not. Cannot recommend them enough. Boat stored in a very safe place and covered if outside in locked yard. They had a solution for me to drop off and pick up my boat on Saturday even though they are not open then."
"Diagnosed a broken throttle cable on our '12 Seadoo Speedster and got it replaced quickly. We thought it was the impeller! They know their stuff. We're super relieved to have a local Seadoo boat expert!! Highly recommended!!"
"I recently embarked on a renovation project of an old classic sailboat. This required the services of numerous different vendors. If you have ever tried to take on a project like that, you will know what a hassle it can be. Most of the time, vendors won't even return your call. When you finally connect, it is like pulling teeth to get a decent proposal that clearly defines the scope of work. And then after all that, you are told they won't be able to get to your project for a few months. Once started, they never seem to hold to any schedule.Darius was a refreshing contradiction to that bohemian (or more plainly put, very unprofessional) mentality in the boating industry. He was prompt to return my calls, prepared a detail proposal, and he was very accommodating in working with me to prioritize scope and stage the project to fit my budget. He worked patiently with the other trades and was flexible in his schedule when other trades got in his way. When the scope turned out to be more than he anticipated, he did not ask for more compensation. Communications remained good throughout the project. And ultimately, the work quality was very good, he never once tried to cut corners, and all delivered at a fair price. Darius mentioned every year, he is booked months in advance to go to the east coast to do finish work for Hinkley Yachts. I can see why.Along with UK Sailmakers, I would highly recommend Dupey Marine Services."
"This review is late, but I really wanted to see how the repair faired during normal use. I had work done almost a year ago for a side panel that came loose and bent back in transit. It was a partial aluminum panel against a window running along the front edge of my trailer. Not a too complicated repair, but you still want the repair to hold up and NOT look like a repair. Customer service was simply amazing. Rachelle was on top of every thing. From my initial call to responding to my calls and emails, and delivery, she was on top of it. Being the face of the company, you always want someone who knows how to take care of you and answer all your questions. If she didn't have the answer, she got back to me in a timely manner. She dealt with my insurance company and I rarely had to relay any information back and fore.As for the repair, the repair looks great. Paint was matched very well, but to be fair, my trailer is only 5+ years old at the time and well-cared for. The biggie was them matching the decals on my trailer for the panel that was repaired/replaced, which was great. The only evidence something was done was with new sealant. That being said, I did find some minor things like a loose marker light that was not properly sealed and secured, and similar things to tighten up. Because I maintain my trailer frequently from washing to tightening things up, like most trailer users should do, it was not hard to spot.Overall, I am very happy with the work provided and incredibly impressed by the service provided by Rachelle. I would highly recommend them from my experience. That being said, I have only taken the trailer out a few times on short trips under mild conditions since the repair. I will provide any appropriate updates if I have any issues."
"I've taken my boat to Cal's for years now. They really want to get it right. They don't upsell. I've had intermittent issues with my trailer (those are the worst). Tim and the crew are patient and work out the problem. They give great suggestions to avoid issues. I really feel confident when my boat comes out."
"My first time getting work done here and all I can say is give these guys a try...Just purchased a 1990 Chris Craft in hopes we can bring her back to her former beauty. They were recommended by several others including my engine surveyor.I've been treated as if I bought million dollar yacht.Repairs explained in detail and advise given freely.A class act with best in customer service!"
"Gold key boat storage is a great location for us to store our boat. We live in black stone so the location is very convenient. When we call ahead, they pull out out boat, stock it with ice and waters and we are ready to go. The only drawback of gold key storage is the price. It's not outrageous but it's definitely not extremely affordable. All in all, it's a good location, friendly service and the wiggins sure is cool!! Thanks guys!"
"Hahah! Never have I ever thought I would need a tow... for a boat! But gosh darn it.. we did! A funny and memorable time with family. The captain was the nicest guy and reassured us on a safe trip home. I was like, "I hope so!" They arrived fairly quickly, considering the distance from the dock.. it was getting dark and fast.. so a few locals stayed with us until the tow arrived! Just a very kind and generous town. Sacramento River / San Joaquin -- Sugar Barge will always have a special place in my heart! Boy, will it ever.."
"We took our 2003 Bayliner to Benny's for a small fiberglass repair, to replace our rub rails & decals, and to buff & detail our fading paint. These friendly folks are magicians and did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price! I highly recommend them."
"I will never take my boat anywhere else. The owner is very personable. There work is the most expensive I have found. They are very knowledgeable and efficient. The turn around time for service was great I recommend anyone with a boat to try FAMILY MARINE"
"Only place I trust anymore. They have repaired a trailer, lower unit and installed a trolling motor for me.They are fair and professional. It's worth driving out here if you want it done right."
"I don't have a boat I do evaluation's on damaged vessels. I came to this facility to do an evaluation on a boat. I enter the show room which was very clean and since I was doing evaluation, I was escorted behind the scenes where the general public does it normally go the repair shop, etc. it was a very clean and organize facility from inside and out if I was ever have a boat, I would strongly urge this facility everything was in line and an order. Both bays were active with repairs. And I saw the employees being due diligence in their job and taking their time removing parts from the vessels."
"Jim at McCarty marine really helped me out with an unplanned gel coat repair. Being already boat poor, he was willing to work with me on the cost and repaired it as if nothing happened in the first place. I got quotes double and even triple his price. He seems to value great customer service over maximizing profits, which is unusual in business. Will 100% use again for gelcoat repair or replenishment"
"Don't rent here. This is my first yelp post ever and because of how bad my experience was, I had to make one so i can warn you about their unprofessionalism. My family and I rented a jetski from this company called Double D (Owned by a guy name Dennis and his son D.) when we went to a lake for the weekend on the 3rd week of June. The rental fee per day was $350 (expensive to begin with but they were the closest one to the lake) with a $500 deposit. The jetski was a 3 seater and an older model too. Anyhow, a rope got caught inside the propeller area and we didn't know exactly what happened at first until we dropped off the jetski but we told them that the jetski had stopped working. They accused us that we knew what had happened but we really didn't cuz we checked the exhaust and didn't see anything stuck (they found out cuz they looked under the jetski and we wouldn't have known about it). I told the owner to call me once he finds out so i can authorize it or have a 2nd opinion from another professional jetski mechanic on whether the propeller needed replacement. Well, I never received any calls and he charged me the $500 deposit. When I called today, he said that he felt that he didn't need to give me a courtesy call because he was "hooking me up". he said that the cost was over $730+ on labor and parts and he only charged me my $500 deposit. i told him that i have been waiting for a call and deserved an explanation if i was going to be charged that much. I told him that I did not authorized that and he should have called me. I asked for receipts and an invoice but he said that he can't provide that or he can give it to me, but he'll have to charge me the "extra amount" i supposedly owed. It just just not make any sense at all. He was upset and defensive when i called him out on that. So his ultimatum was, either take the $500 loss, or i get an invoice worth $730+ and pay the difference. Is it me or that just sounds like a very bad business? Karma will get them back and I will also report this to "BBB"."
"You want EXCEPTIONAL service and experience then go to MARINE SERVICE CENTER. You will not be disappointed. I am a second year boat owner of a 18 ft Bluewater Eagle. My first year was a very expensive and frustrating lesson after lesson because I choose a HORRIBLE mechanic. Thank goodness he is out of business. Fast Forward to the present- Marine Service Center is NIGHT and DAY from my recent. experience. Customer service is top notch, experience is awesome and they have something that is lost in today's world- COMMON SENSE. Andy and Sharon really EDUCATED me about my boat and what is truly needed and what is fluff. I am very pleased with the service I received. If you go anywhere else- you will pay more and get less."
"First let me say "WOW" ! This whole place rocks!I brought my X80 Mastercraft in for service and boat detail and they killed it on quality of work and price!! They beat out every price in the 209 and their work is top notch! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They knew my boat well and didn't try to oversell me, but they were super helpful on getting me what I needed.I will only bring my boat here for any service or needs!Ramon and team is fantastic! Will recommend!"
"The owner, Chad, went above and beyond to give me great service! I didn't have a truck to bring my boat to him in Oakley so he picked it up and returned it to my slip in the Pittsburg Marina. That was 10 miles! In the Hwy 4's nasty traffic no less. He always communicated with me so I was up to date with what he was doing and when he was doing it. This is a family owned business that has been around for I think something like 30 years. I am so glad I found an excellent mechanic with great prices that is a pleasure to do business with."
"Bill Ament, sons and crew are some of the finest workmen to be found in the Delta. Efficient, very experienced, knowledgeable people you can trust with any boat issues you might be having. Their work with wood boats is outstanding. Over the years I have never found better people to work on my Chris Craft, and competitively priced too."
