"Yesterday we had dinner at Dickey's. Ribs, shredded pork and chicken were yummy. Loaded mashed potatoes were delicious but the green beans were inedible with too much pepper. We ate inside, restaurant was clean and staff was attentive."
"I was craving something different for lunch and happened to be in the area today. Stopped by and ordered a 20 piece shrimp lumpia pack. 15 minute wait, not bad at all for the yumminess that was coming. While I waited inside for my order the music being played in the restaurant was nice and made the wait go by so fast. Upon arrival of my order they came out fresh and crispy. The hostess/cashier was very nice as well. Long story short , the lumpia was delicious full of flavor and crunchiness. Sauce was good. I added sriracha because I like it spicy and I'll definitely return sooner than later."

"Came in on a Tuesday for lunch, first one waiting for them to open. Got the Dino Beef Rib with green beans and she recommended the potato salad. The portions are huge, the Beef Rib was amazing.I could t finish it, and brought it home for leftovers. After texting my wife a photo, she asked me to bring some home for the kids as well.Got the Brisket meal with extra brisket (+$10 with double Mac and cheese for the kids. Had to resist biting into the kids food! Looked so good.I would say this is the best BBQ between Sacramento and Stockton, although I've not tried Stockton bbq yet.Worth the drive, folks! I will be back."
"Corina and I ate here recently for the first time and were impressed. We had the child's plates of tri-tip and brought 1/2 the meat home for lunch the next day! She had the green bean side and I had the mac & cheese. The beans were pretty average and just a touch spicy. The mac & cheese was incredible! We would like to know how they make it so good? Our tri-tips were above average for sure, but I think what they serve at Horn's in Oakland are a little better. We will be back soon."
"I've only been once but it was a pleasure. Not too busy attentive staff.i wish I could remember now what I ordered...we had a few rolls but one with smoked salmon was frigging AMAZING!! I hope they keep that because I'd order that over and over again!"
"Nice surprise. Friendly service. Our food came out pretty quickly and was hot and delicious. The mini plate of teriyaki chicken came with one scoop each of rice and mac. The bbq mix plate came with 2 scoops of rice, one scoop of macaroni salad, a generous serving of grilled chicken and two tender pieces of bbq beef. I also ordered the chicken ramen, mild spice, add tofu. It was the perfect amount of spice. Not too overpowering. The lumpia was hot and crispy. The spam musubi was also nice and tasty."
"I will happily recommend GK Mongolian BBQ to anyone looking for a hearty meal. I was happy to bring my hubby here for the first time for lunch, he is now excited to show it to his adult sons during dinner where it is ALL YOU CAN EAT for $16.95! (Lunch was $14.25 with only one plate)The drinks are extra. They did have alcohol but I am not a beer or wine drinker sooooo this doesn't appeal to me. They did serve PEPSI products- which appeals greatly! The server was extra attentive. Selected a table and got all the goodies lined up on the table while we made our noodle bowls. Speaking of which...let me walk you thru it. When you walk in, you are greeted by the server- he asks how many and your drink order. You go to the food items along the wall to the right upon walking in. There are gloves (use them!) And bowls. You start placing the proteins into your bowl (chicken, pork, and beef are standard- They have shrimp and crab for extra- you will need to ask) then move to the next section with noodles, fruits, and veggie options. Pile on whatever you want. Then round the corner to chose your sauce and seasoning oils, keep laddling until you are content. Now the cook (probably has a fancy name- sorry I don't know) will take your completed bowl & ask if you garlic powder on it while he places it onto the hot stone to cook. Then viola, it will be placed in a bowl and you are good to go eat- be careful, it's hot!For our lunch today there was 2 other tables. It was pretty quiet/chill. There were a couple Togo orders but overall looked consistent. It was a good meal. We will be back.Pro tip- bring some cash for the cook- he has his own little jar."
"Can't go wrong with Mongolian bbq. Love to make my own bowls. Downside, limited to one small bowl so it's hard trying to get everything you want to eat. Would definitely recommend having a cheat sheet by the sauces to indicate how many scoops of what sauce to make a certain sauce flavor. I sometimes panic and don't either so enough or don't like the outcome of what I tried. So something to kind of go off of always helps. This was definitely a first going to a Mongolian bbq spot that you take home a second bowl if you did not make it. So that was a really big plus. Made a bowl and had it for lunch the next day. Definitely bang for my buck. The appetizers too was great and little snacks to order. I liked that a lot. The soup needed a little more flavor but was still good. I just added some more spices and soy sauce to my taste. The one free bowl of rice was a first for me, normally I've always had a big rice cooker to freely get as much rice as needed/want. They do need to staff, poor girl who was working the register was taking the orders, waiting on tables to get their drink orders and as well bringing it to them with anything else they ordered. Might have been an understaffed day but definitely recommend at least two more people to help out with the place."

Purchased 1# sliced brisket and 1# pulled pork with the intent to save it for the next day Super Bowl. Well, we got home and started nibbling and just couldn't stop. The meat was cooked perfectly; the young lady and gentlemen were super friendly and attentive...Our salutes!

Best Lumpia has been my go-to for delicious Filipino food since my coworker introduced me to it almost ten years ago. Now we live in Sacramento, but when I'm really craving lumpia I always think of Best Lumpia first.I just stopped by this weekend to pick up a bunch to enjoy with friends in the area and then take home to share with some neighbors. I ordered 30 Shanghai Lumpia, 10 Chicken, 10 Beef, pancit and their BBQ pork. From reading some other reviews it looked like there had been some recent changes but all the food still tasted amazing and just how I remembered it.I will say, I was surprised to see the dining area is totally gone now and it seems like they're take out only. I typically ordered takeout so it was fine with me, but I do remember enjoying some great meals here over the years.I love that they offer party trays in different sizes and they're a great option if you're looking to impress friends and serve a bunch of people. The parking lot always has plenty of spots, but if you're visiting for the first time the store front is not visible from the road but in the back corner of the little shopping plaza.

The place is a small Mom and Pop place which is a breath of fresh air. I really have to give a shout out to Marcella, she is a delight. She is so nice and helpful with ordering due to this being our first time here. The Ribs tasted Fantastic! I could really taste the smoke in every bite. It basically fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. The BBQ sauce was very tasty but was sparingly used because the ribs were so moist and tender. What really surprised me was the Green Beans, it had bacon in it and that really enhanced the flavor! It was so Tasty. I really enjoyed it and would definitely order it again. The macaroni salad was also very good! I'm so full right now. lol I will definitely be back!

How I never knew about this place before is a mystery! DELICIOUS!!!! My hubby and I both got the three meat plates with two sides and everything was delicious! The mild BBQ was so yummy and I ate it on all of the meats. We tried tri-tip, brisket, ham, ribs, chicken and pulled pork. Pulled pork was the BEST followed by brisket and tri-tip. Ham was the hidden gem, yum! Beans with rice taste similar to Bojangles if you are from the South. Coleslaw was good, we'd pass on the green beans next time. The service was 100% EXCELLENT they were slam busy but the woman checked on us numerous times with always a great attitude. This is not a fast food place, you are going to wait 20 minutes for your food, so order ahead or just relax and wait patiently. Believe me it is worth the wait and the portion sizes are good. We came home with a doggy bag for my son and our bellies are full! We will be back many many more times!

They get 5 Stars for SERVICE! Their team saved the birthday dinner! It's it an inexpensive option? NO- but it's not unreasonable either. We had dinner for 4- had called ahead to reserve a grill table- which worked out very well. We also substituted some items, which comes at an added cost (clearly says on the menu). Also, there was waaay more food than we could eat- they brought half of it to the back to finish cooking it for us to take as leftovers. I got to say, I LOVE the teamwork! Everyone pitched in to cover drinks, bringing items, clearing items, etc.On a side note, the restaurant was VERY clean as were the bathrooms. When we left and I thanked them for saving my husband's birthday, he was given a gift and they were shocked we didn't say anything earlier.

My wife and I both like Mongolian BBQ. I used to go to the location in Stockton growing up when I lived there. I have also tried the one in the Modesto mall which is not part of the GK brand can I believe I gave a one or two star review. The Manteca GK location is very good. The staff is always been friendly and the chefs do a good job. They do not get mad at you for piling your food too high or anything like that. The selection of options is pretty much the same as any other Mongolian BBQ. There really is not much of a difference from location to location or brand when it comes to the actual food. It is the service and ambiance that makes the difference.I've been to some Mongolian BBQ places where every surface seems to be greasy or the food is not fresh. At this location they do a good job of keeping things clean. Sometimes there are some noodles that people drop on the floor or some vegetables but they come out fairly regularly and clean these up. The rest of the establishment is clean as well. The food always seems fresh and not like it has been sitting out for hours. This is probably due to the fact they always seem to be fairly busy. I have rarely had to wait in a long line but I have never been the only one getting food so it is a nice balance of being busy enough to keep the food fresh but not so busy that it takes you forever to get through. The pricing is reasonable. It is not cheap but it does not strike me as being more expensive than similar establishments. Overall this is a great place to go if you like Mongolian barbecue and are in the area

"my friend and i were en route from sacramento back to san mateo and decided to take the "long way" back, down thru stockton and across the east bay. stockton proved to be a great midpoint to stop for lunch, not crowded at all and easy parking, since the restaurant had its own lot.at 13.30 on a sunday, we were one of two or three parties inside...no wait to order lunch! there were quite a few options to choose from, but i went with the shrimp teriyaki plate ($13.99) which came with two scoops of white rice, macaroni salad, teriyaki shrimp and mixed veggies. the plate was HUGE and they were very generous with the helping of shrimp, which i greatly appreciated. the veggies were a bit oversauced and salty, but i appreciated the quantity they provided. i enjoyed the macaroni salad, but barely touched the rice since i was pretty full from everything else.not much ambiance inside, pretty bare bones restaurant, but that worked perfectly for us b/c we wanted to eat in about 30 minutes and head back on the road, which is exactly what we got...well, closer to 35 minutes, but who's counting?unfortunately, there was only 1 customer restroom and we had to wait a bit to use it, but i appreciated that it was clean."
"Delicious! This was my first time here and it was amazing! I had the chicken ramen, spicy. I will for sure be coming back!"
"Was out and about today this place caught my eye.Wow lots of options to make your bowl different meats and vegetables. Then they cook it on a giant grill.Service was great and promptly seated.Place is tucked in a shopping center but inside is calm and inviting."
"Speer BBQ is a great place to eat delicious bbq and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere at the golf course. The service is always great and the food is fantastic. This is one of our favorite casual dining spots in Tracy."
"It's good, but I feel like you can't taste the sauces much. I mixed the house, garlic, and teriyaki together. Unfortunately, it tasted bland. I also wish the bowl was bigger for me to pack more food in. The restaurant had food all over the floor and counters and the staff was trying to clean some. It was like a sauna in there;we had to leave and eat at home. The staff was polite and it didn't take long to cook the food. It was an okay experience and I'd return again."
"One of the friendliest GM I've visited greeted right when walked in, Grill master was really polite. Everyone that worked this shift of my visit. I ally the hospitality! Keep it up, I will definitely return. Food was good and cool music playlist. Clean location as well.only small recommendation for one of the staff members, would be to take their personal phone call as outside or back of the location away from customers ears shot. Thank you!"
"SO HAPPY!!!When I found out that Famous Dave's was offering dine-in I was ecstatic. I'd been to this location once before and while the food was delicious, it was a bit of a pain to take it all the way back home to Stockton. We went on a Saturday so I was expecting a bit of a wait and there was one, but only about 20 minutes. It still shares a building with Johnny Carino's which is odd but it seems like Famous Dave's has taken over the majority of it. And it was jumpin'! We ordered a rib combo and a 2 meat combo and everything was just as I remembered-the ribs fell off the bone, the brisket was super tender, the beans were sweet with chunks of brisket, the mac and cheese had a little kick to it from the jalapenos and the corn muffin was sweet which is how I like them. It was DELICIOUS. The only hiccup was that the mac and cheese was lukewarm but I let our server know and he brought out a fresh one immediately. We also ordered some dessert to go, banana pudding and bread pudding. I had the bread pudding and it came with a caramel pecan sauce and vanilla ice cream and it was to die for! We had a great first time dine-in experience thanks to our awesome server, Joshua and I know we will definitely return. If you like BBQ this is a MUST try. P.S. Please remodel the bathrooms..."
"I love this place...I have eaten at all of the locations in Stockton and this may be the cleanest one. But to be fair, I haven't been to the other 2 for a minute and there is no way to get around making a bit of a mess while you are building your bowl. Especially if you're a piler of noodles like I am, haha.Anyway, I was craving noods big time last night so I decided to stop in and make a bowl. I love all the veggie options and how fresh everything is. But seriously, am I the only one that thinks that most of the sauces are the same? Lol! And the value for the amount of food you get is awesome-for $10 I got a to-go bowl that also came with rice, fried won-ton, that amazing sesame cookie (I have no idea what it's called) and a drink. You cannot beat that price!"
"I recently ordered Jayceon's Family BBQ through DoorDash, and even delivered, the food was absolutely top-notch! I got the tri-tip with a few sides, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The tri-tip was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and packed with that rich, smoky goodness. You can tell they take their time to get it just right. The sides were just as impressive--potato salad that's fresh and flavorful, and collards that had the perfect hint of sweetness. Everything tasted homemade and was clearly prepared with love. The best part? The quality wasn't lost in delivery. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and just as satisfying as if I'd eaten it straight from the kitchen.Beyond the amazing food, the owners truly make this place special. You can feel the care they put into every order, whether you're dining in or getting it delivered. If you're in Stockton and craving delicious, authentic BBQ, Jayceon's Family BBQ is a must. And with DoorDash, you can treat yourself without leaving home."
"Great food Great Service! These guys catered our wedding and they cater the luncheons at my workplace. Food is always great and their team are always courteous and helpful. Highly recommend!!"
