Diana H. "This is my favorite arcade in the area. I've checked out a few between Stockton and Turlock, and this is my favorite. They have a lot of games and it's reasonably priced. They have games where you can play for tickets if you want, and they have games that you can play just for the fun of it. My favorite is the carnival-style water shooter game, where you compete against someone to see who can fill up the tank with a water gun first. The prizes are pretty much what you would expect from an arcade. It's geared towards kids, so they obviously have prizes for kids, but you can still get candy or other little trinkets that are alright. All in all, I love coming here. The only criticism I have is the location, but that's not really the arcade's fault. It's located in a dead/dying mall, so there's no good food. Maybe Charlies Sandwiches but thats it. You can't pause playing and just grab a quick bite to eat. You have to leave the mall and then come back. But if they relocated somewhere else, the rent might be more expensive, so I don't blame the arcade for its location. It's just something you have to keep in mind when visiting."

Tom S. "Obligatory "I'm a massive claw machine enthusiast". I'm not the only one obviously, but I am one of them. I've visited many claw machine places up and down California and Hawaii. I like chasing that thrill, and I prefer UFO over sugar loaf.I traveled up here from the South Bay.It's my first time around here and it's located in a nice...outdoor mall? The problem is although the outdoor mall is nice, it seems terminal. Not a lot of shops, not a lot of people, oddly enough there were like 3-4 police cars parked there, and one police car patrolling around, not sure what that's all about but I suppose it paints a picture.Upon entering the premise of this claw machine place I felt...underwhelmed.Memory might be a little shotty, but I counted approx. 16 regular sized claw machines, and 4-6 smaller ones for keychain-sized prizes. This is kind of on the smaller side, considering some of the other claw machines I've frequented previously. No UFO Japanese-style claw machines (most tend not to, usually only Round1 has it, but I thought it was still worth mentioning). The design of the store is nice and cute, but there isn't much to play or interact with. You basically get a whiff of the entire place in under 5 minutes tops.Doing quick maths on their pricing scheme, it would seem that either the $40 or the $100 offer the most value per play. They may change it down the road, however, so that math is only applicable to the pricing of my visit. The staffing was great and customer service was fantastic. There are much better ones throughout California with more options and better prizes to choose from. Also they sell blind boxes which were practically twice the prize of the MSRP listed on the boxes themselves. E.g. they have the somewhat popular TOPTOY Sanrio vending machine blind boxes which retails for 59 RMB (~$8.30 USD) and it's sold here for $21 out the door. I get it, import/procurement fees on things like this can add up, but $21 was pretty steep IMO, and these usually go for $15-$17 after tax online from certain websites.Overall I got hella bored really fast from this place, wished they offered more. There is apparently another and different claw machine place opening in the South Bay which seems to have more claw machines, I suppose I'll be waiting for that one to open up!"

I don't come to Stockton often but finding little areas like this are a nice little change of pace. The Underground Arcade is definitely more on the retro side but a nice little place to host a party for young kids. They had free place access to almost all games for 2 hours and also a chance to play in a little nerf course set up. The kids really enjoyed it and it was a nice change of pace from the brand name locations. This place offers a great value and while it's hard to find this place from the outside, there was ample street parking. They allowed outside food and the staff was over all helpful and professional.Worth checking out for a party for young kids!"

There aren't too many spots like this in the Bay area and we are always down for unique new experiences so decided to come here. The owner was so kind and had his kids there helping out attentively. He gave us some tips to play and luckily both kids came out with plushies- my youngest got his favorite Warriors plushie which completely made his day. We walked out with 3 plushies and a few toys we purchased from their selection. My oldest was able to trade for a different plushie in the same claw machine which he appreciated. There was ample selection of plushies to choose from and a great trade up program to get bigger plushies. The place was super clean.$1 will buy you 1 play token or 2 tokens for the smaller machinesThe owner even asked if we wanted to take a family picture next to the cool Kaws which we took him up on. Currently they don't but Mike says he has new vending machines enroute. Mike is a nice guy and will give some guidance about how to play the pinball machines. I don't know about the arcade games. I don't play them and didn't ask. He had some time and was willing to give me some great competition on his games. In the meantime, he has a collection of pinball machines and video arcade games ready to play for coin drops. A change machine will dispense all the quarters you need. All you need to do is hop onto your favorite game and have fun!. Street parking in front is 2 hour limit. There's a parking lot on the side of the building but it's not open yet. The claw machines are filled with stuffed animals, although I saw some machines with snacks in them. Unless you spend more than $10, it's $1 per play on the claw machines. Huge parking lot. (Well I came here on a Thursday afternoon). The lady at the front was very helpful and nice. You have to sign a waiver through their QR code. For three kids and an adult (if you want to participate, extra $5) along with socks came out to $80. Yes, that is a lot, but everything is included except the claw machine games and food. You can come in and out until closing time. So to get your money worth I would say come in at opening time! They have mini golf (don't expect it to be like golf land) but it's still can be fun for the kids to do a quick round. They also have some glow in the dark shooting game. That was fun and my kids loved that. They did it so many times. They have a toddler area blocked off for the little ones under 4 where they have pretend play, slides and spinning things. My family and I really enjoyed this place. Maybe cuz it was completely empty?! I'm sure this place is a zoo when it's the weekend. My sister, Elite, had booked a private event here for my nephew and niece's 10 and 12th birthdays for them and their friends and all their parents. There's a nice backroom with tables and a little lounge area with couches in the room, a TV that plays some music videos and billiards table for the adults while the kids play. We ordered the pizza package , which was reasonably priced per head considering you get a few games of laser tag with food as well and drinks. The restaurant, craft eatery is co-opped with the venue, so the food was legit food and definitely not the nasty pre-frozen stuff you might expect from a Chuck-E-Cheese or something. We ordered extras like nachos, which were really addicting and crunchy and cheesy and the chicken wings were really good too, really crunchy and flavorful and freshly fried and hot. There's so many activities for the kids to do to keep them busy. My sister did the add-on of VR for the kids as well. So they got to take turns . The laser tag experience was soooo fun for all the kids. It was chaotic but it was nice seeing them play like normal with their friends. Also a small arcade in the front like ski ball, basketball, shooter games, and prize games. I also appreciate there's a bar for the adults and a billiards table so the adults just hung out and socialized as well. My brothers had their fun going down the list of beers one at a time. The staff was very attentive especially in attending to the kids at the party.I have nothing but good things to say about this place and most likely will be celebrating more of our kids' parties here in the future. The food, for me which is if not the most important thing when it comes to throwing a party, was REALLY good, legit restaurant good because it's from the craft-eateryThe place is fun for both adults and kids. I really like the private setup with couches and chairs and billiards and alcoholic drinks for the adults. And the service was above par, the staff member tending to our party and helping the kids last night was excellent. One last thing to mention is that the place felt clean, not groady or sticky like most little kids play places feel like, which is super important especially during these times. The kids couldn't have had a better birthday this year."

We ordered a draft beer and a Paloma, and the bartender said $16...the Bay Area hasn't seen those type of prices in a decade, but I digress...This venue is huge and heard it gets really packed on weekends. We came before dinner across the street and it was nearly empty which was great because there was no wait for the basketball pop a shot or beer pong tables. The pop a shot is a $1 a game and it's an old school arcade that takes quarters at all the machines. They have a coin dispenser so remember to bring cash. I hadn't played beer pong in years, but safe to say, I still got it. They had two tables setup for use, with all the cups filled with water and ping pong balls to use. I really forgot how much fun I have playing BP, especially after some friendly competition with the gf. There is no unlimited arcade game card like Chuck E Cheese and the $30 for arcade was used quickly as each activity is 4 tokens or more. One thing that makes this place unique from other play gyms is that it has a great climbing wall that has a variety of levels and an automatic belay. It seemed super safe. The other fun thing was a free climb wall where the kids could fall off onto a giant inflatable. The ninja obstacle thing didn't seem completely done and I wasn't really sure how the kids were supposed to interact with it. It is quite big so hoping once it is done that it'll be another cool space to play. We spent $30 to enter for 1 kid and $20 for the arcade, which - $50 - was honestly a little pricey for me considering we played for 2-ish hours. The kids collectively chose Golfland as their preferred destination, and I was happy to oblige.Mini golf is a bit pricey now at $15 per adult and $14 per child. However, if you go in the morning right at opening it's pretty empty until about 11 when more people start coming. I got a chance to play Course 2 (which was filled with a lot of "volcanoes") and Course 3 (which had a lot of ramps). It was interesting because the first time I went the scanner for the golf ball machine worked, but the following Friday it was out of operation so we ended up picking our golf ball from a box that they had. Since we came right at opening the staff were still cleaning up the courses, so there were some holes that had a ton of leaves/rocks/debris that we cleared off ourselves. We also did find a few extra balls hanging around which helped because a few of our balls got stuck in some of the contraptions. It took about 90 minutes for 4 of us to finish the 18 holes. The boys I went with wanted to play bumper cars, and they enjoyed themselves despite being the only 3 cars. It cost $8/per kid for about 5ish minutes for the first ride. The second ride was $5 each but we opted to have lunch first. The laser maze that the kids were initially interested in was not working when we visited. The food selection is simple and there's a little bit of something for everybody. What was interesting is both times we went there was some sort of error with our order, but the staff was very quick to upgrade or make another order and bring it over to us. The most recent Friday we went there was a massive birthday party going on, but they managed to service us in reasonable fashion. There was a good variety of arcade games available to play as well. The kiddos I went with spent a little over an hour trying out the games. We loved the four player ice hockey with a ton of pucks that came cascading down at two different points during the game. The kids also enjoyed picking prizes for their tickets, and while part of me missed the nostalgia of real tickets, it definitely made for an easier exchange to have them virtually added to the card.If next year's reward winners want to come here, I'd be happy to come again!"
