"Amazing people working this place! Gave us a free pop it and a free bag to hold our stuffies! They offered to help rearrange any of the stuff in the claws! Great selection of claw machines and plushies! You can trade in 3,5,7 and so on plushies for bigger prizes! We will be back!"
"This is my favorite arcade in the area. I've checked out a few between Stockton and Turlock, and this is my favorite. They have a lot of games and it's reasonably priced. They have games where you can play for tickets if you want, and they have games that you can play just for the fun of it. My favorite is the carnival-style water shooter game, where you compete against someone to see who can fill up the tank with a water gun first. The prizes are pretty much what you would expect from an arcade. It's geared towards kids, so they obviously have prizes for kids, but you can still get candy or other little trinkets that are alright. All in all, I love coming here. The only criticism I have is the location, but that's not really the arcade's fault. It's located in a dead/dying mall, so there's no good food. Maybe Charlies Sandwiches but thats it. You can't pause playing and just grab a quick bite to eat. You have to leave the mall and then come back. But if they relocated somewhere else, the rent might be more expensive, so I don't blame the arcade for its location. It's just something you have to keep in mind when visiting."
"The Game Room is so what's up.I appreciate that this magical resource exists for the area. Check out their powerful, important, and inclusive mission statement below - taken from their website:"The Game Room's purpose is to provide a place that reminds us that the world can be a playground to create and enjoy. Our philosophy is to have a neutral space in the community for all to come together, without discrimination, and with equal consideration for everyone. We strive to make our services affordable for all demographics to have a place of value. Our business is structured like a "sandbox", where the community can come together to play and interact. Our amenities are easily rearranged to accommodate a wide variety of events such as parties, weddings, craft fairs, concerts, game nights, fundraisers, and other private or community events. We have the honor and privilege to provide a space to showcase original artists and musicians of all backgrounds, where they can share their passions without judgment. We believe in putting people first, without condition, or expectations to fit into the single box of what is popular. We want your alternative art, original music, niche games, and events you can't get support with anywhere else. The community needs a place where people can feel supported and we will provide that with the best of our team's abilities."Trust."
"Amazing place. Everyone working was very nice and informative.Vintage and new machines andFree juke box music. Machines are maintained well with lots of history posted on each machine. This is the place to Go Get your pinball Fix. We went Tuesday morning with a Groupon. Has a blast. Took me back to my bowling alley pinball days. A must visit."
"Obligatory "I'm a massive claw machine enthusiast". I'm not the only one obviously, but I am one of them. I've visited many claw machine places up and down California and Hawaii. I like chasing that thrill, and I prefer UFO over sugar loaf.I traveled up here from the South Bay.It's my first time around here and it's located in a nice...outdoor mall? The problem is although the outdoor mall is nice, it seems terminal. Not a lot of shops, not a lot of people, oddly enough there were like 3-4 police cars parked there, and one police car patrolling around, not sure what that's all about but I suppose it paints a picture.Upon entering the premise of this claw machine place I felt...underwhelmed.Memory might be a little shotty, but I counted approx. 16 regular sized claw machines, and 4-6 smaller ones for keychain-sized prizes. This is kind of on the smaller side, considering some of the other claw machines I've frequented previously. No UFO Japanese-style claw machines (most tend not to, usually only Round1 has it, but I thought it was still worth mentioning). The design of the store is nice and cute, but there isn't much to play or interact with. You basically get a whiff of the entire place in under 5 minutes tops.Doing quick maths on their pricing scheme, it would seem that either the $40 or the $100 offer the most value per play. They may change it down the road, however, so that math is only applicable to the pricing of my visit. The staffing was great and customer service was fantastic. There are much better ones throughout California with more options and better prizes to choose from. Also they sell blind boxes which were practically twice the prize of the MSRP listed on the boxes themselves. E.g. they have the somewhat popular TOPTOY Sanrio vending machine blind boxes which retails for 59 RMB (~$8.30 USD) and it's sold here for $21 out the door. I get it, import/procurement fees on things like this can add up, but $21 was pretty steep IMO, and these usually go for $15-$17 after tax online from certain websites.Overall I got hella bored really fast from this place, wished they offered more. There is apparently another and different claw machine place opening in the South Bay which seems to have more claw machines, I suppose I'll be waiting for that one to open up!"
"Hidden in a nondescript building in downtown Stockton you'll find a little shopping center with this awesome little arcade at the basement level. I don't come to Stockton often but finding little areas like this are a nice little change of pace. The Underground Arcade is definitely more on the retro side but a nice little place to host a party for young kids. They had free place access to almost all games for 2 hours and also a chance to play in a little nerf course set up. The kids really enjoyed it and it was a nice change of pace from the brand name locations. This place offers a great value and while it's hard to find this place from the outside, there was ample street parking. They allowed outside food and the staff was over all helpful and professional.Worth checking out for a party for young kids!"
"If you love claw machines like my two kids do, this place is a must visit! There aren't too many spots like this in the Bay area and we are always down for unique new experiences so decided to come here. The owner was so kind and had his kids there helping out attentively. He gave us some tips to play and luckily both kids came out with plushies- my youngest got his favorite Warriors plushie which completely made his day. We walked out with 3 plushies and a few toys we purchased from their selection. My oldest was able to trade for a different plushie in the same claw machine which he appreciated. There was ample selection of plushies to choose from and a great trade up program to get bigger plushies. The place was super clean.$1 will buy you 1 play token or 2 tokens for the smaller machinesThe owner even asked if we wanted to take a family picture next to the cool Kaws which we took him up on. We will definitely be back when we are in the neighborhood- we loved it here.Happy to support a family run POC small business!!"
"It has been a while since we came ....we were excited to see that the AC was working this time. Sooooo great in the 100+ degree heat. We were initially bummed that they changed to cards, but .....happily....the games are still the same price. You can register your card and save your money/points for next time!"
"This is an arcade that just opened in November. As a nascent business, it is undergoing the challenges like any new business. For a while, they had snacks for sale. Currently they don't but Mike says he has new vending machines enroute. Mike is a nice guy and will give some guidance about how to play the pinball machines. I don't know about the arcade games. I don't play them and didn't ask. He had some time and was willing to give me some great competition on his games. In the meantime, he has a collection of pinball machines and video arcade games ready to play for coin drops. A change machine will dispense all the quarters you need. All you need to do is hop onto your favorite game and have fun!. Street parking in front is 2 hour limit. There's a parking lot on the side of the building but it's not open yet. As the business grows, Mike plans to add more games."
"My family and I had the chance to see this amazing trailer at an event in Auburn. We can't wait to schedule a booking of our own."
"What a hidden gem this place is. Not only do they do a fantastic job for birthday parties, but it's a great place to take the kids for a couple hours. $3 gives you unlimited time in the bounce house/play area. The arcades are a little expensive , and they have a lot of ticket games. Normal stuff, you need a billion tickets to get anything worth while. They have a nice coffee /snack bar as well... Staff is super friendly. Overall this is a fantastic place to take the kids out for a couple hours."
"This place is so brightly lit at night! The problem is you cannot see it from the street. I was drawn to it after eating at the New Town Cafe.Everything inside looks brand new and sparkling clean. The claw machines are filled with stuffed animals, although I saw some machines with snacks in them. Unless you spend more than $10, it's $1 per play on the claw machines. In fact, it seemed to me that $10 worth of tokens was the minimum you could buy. I just wanted to play once or twice.I'm not good at claw machines, so instead I bought some imported Kit Kats."

I am not happy with the service and the new management. We were promised by an employee a month ago that we can buy the studio family pack - which are four cards with one hour and 8 dollars per card that we can use 2 cards now and then use the other two cards at a later time. The next time we went, the other two cards were deactivated and nolonger be able to use. We also have a receipt to prove it. The current manager said he could not honor his employee and only gave us 8 dollar credit per card which was essentially one VR game. Very disappointed in the terms of service and will not be back. Sadly we will not be back unless things change.

Always a good time here. Extremely nice people work here and give you great service. Wino bingo on Thursdays is awesome event to meet and relax with friends. Also if you are looking for a great sandwich you must try the Sonora Creamery attached to the game room. Awesome sandwiches

My kids' party was a total success because of G Mobile Arcade. I have 2 sons, who turned 11 and 13, and about 15 or 20 kids as invites, ranging from ages 6 to 13. The video game truck has a variery of game consoles that the kids enjoyed. Then, afterwards they played against each other on the inflatable obstacle course and loved it! Gary, the owner, was timely, professional and offered great service. Totally recommend and will definitely hire again!

I've took my children here twice now and so far it's been great! The place is tiny, but mighty. Great selections of plushies in each claw machine. There are two rooms. What's cool is my daughter who is 7 is guarantee to win 3 prizes even if she runs out of credit. They will add extra so she can get three plushies which I think it's amazing! The staff is very nice, cool and chill. Both times they have been very kind and explaining how it works. We come from Brentwood, which is kinda far but super fun activity to do with your children! They love it here. Please get more Sanrio characters especially Hello Kitty :( I haven't seen her yet during both visits when we came. Thanks!

We had our son's 7th birthday party at The Underground Arcade and we absolutely loved it here!! The manager was great! He stayed upstairs to watch the doors while we partied downstairs. It was nice to have that peace of mind that no random people would crash the party. When we first got there, he gave us a cart for all of our stuff to bring down the elevator which was SO helpful! The other workers were so helpful and attentive as well! They were all so kind and offered to help decorate and I truly appreciated that!! The area itself was so spacious! There was plenty of games available for kids and adults to enjoy! The NERF room was awesome too! The workers were there the entire time and were great notifying us once the NERF room was ready to play in again. We all had a BLAST!! Highly recommend!!!

I love claw machines, but what's even better is going to a place where you know you will leave with at least one plushie in hand. When arriving here, the owner was super nice and informative about how why he opened this claw machine place and he really wanted to let children have the feeling of winning. Comparing this place to round 1, with round 1 you never really know how much you're spending because of their credit system. However, here at Cali Claw, one token at a big machine gives you one play, and one token at a small machine gives you two plays. Service here is top notch. If you feel like you can't get access to winning a plushie, the owner will help you by adjusting the toy to make it easy to win. He will also give you tips and tricks on where to grab in order to win. What I also like about this place is let's say you win a plushie at the machine, but you wanted a different plushie that was offered in that same machine, you can do a trade which is awesome! They offer various sizes of plushies and they have a trade in system where if you wanted to get the enormous plushie that is worth like 16 plushies, you can put your name into their system and trade in x amount of plushies. That way when you come back and win some more, you're in their system with a detailed amount of how many you already traded in. Highly recommend coming here because it's fun, service is amazing and who doesn't love plushies?!

"I've been wanting to take my kiddos here for a while now but after reading some of the reviews i was a bit wary. This passed week my kids had spring break so I ended up taking them here. Huge parking lot. (Well I came here on a Thursday afternoon). The lady at the front was very helpful and nice. You have to sign a waiver through their QR code. For three kids and an adult (if you want to participate, extra $5) along with socks came out to $80. Yes, that is a lot, but everything is included except the claw machine games and food. You can come in and out until closing time. So to get your money worth I would say come in at opening time! They have mini golf (don't expect it to be like golf land) but it's still can be fun for the kids to do a quick round. They also have some glow in the dark shooting game. That was fun and my kids loved that. They did it so many times. They have a toddler area blocked off for the little ones under 4 where they have pretend play, slides and spinning things. My family and I really enjoyed this place. Maybe cuz it was completely empty?! I'm sure this place is a zoo when it's the weekend. It was clean, the kids had fun, the staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back here again."
"This is the best arcade in the area. Amazing selection and super-cool owner. This place is like a dream for arcade lovers. They have a load of fighting games, rhythm and dance machines, and a bunch of racing games, including Initial D - with cards. Check this place out, you will not regret it."
"I came here on a Saturday morning with my husband and had a blast. We bought two golf and 25 point arcade vouchers for $14.99 each. We started with golf and there was a good amount of people outside playing when we started. They have two courses you can choose from and we decided to play the newer one. It took us around 1 hour and had a blast. There was a bench at each station to sit and put your stuff down while you play. Once finished, we headed inside with our 25 point voucher and played around 3-4 arcade games. It was a great cheap way to spend a few hours on a saturday. The staff were also very nice and the golf course and arcade were neat and clean."
"I remember coming here at 18 years old with my bf and his family when we had gone hiking at pinecrest lake. It's a family tradition to go every 4th of july to the lake then come here on the way home. It is quite a mission, but his family makes it happen. So imagine, being 18 and not being able to do anything at the casino..... Thank god for the arcade! This is the best thing they have to offer here. I mean, we had about 4 hours to kill before going home, so there was no choice but to play arcade games."
"What an awesome place and experience. We held our daughter's 12th birthday here, and everyone (including adults) had a blast. The young men and women who worked there were so kind and helpful. They kept checking in to make sure we were good throughout the party. They put the kids into groups, and each group rotated the 3 rooms. The virtual reality was so cool, definitely a great idea for tweens/teen birthdays. For 2 hours, we had the entire place to ourselves! This place just opened in December 2023. I'm pretty sure once word gets out about this place, it will be very busy! We're lucky we got in early."
"I've often seen the sign for Sector 19 driving round the Hayward loop but never understood until now what it was. My sister, Elite, had booked a private event here for my nephew and niece's 10 and 12th birthdays for them and their friends and all their parents. There's a nice backroom with tables and a little lounge area with couches in the room, a TV that plays some music videos and billiards table for the adults while the kids play. We ordered the pizza package , which was reasonably priced per head considering you get a few games of laser tag with food as well and drinks. The restaurant, craft eatery is co-opped with the venue, so the food was legit food and definitely not the nasty pre-frozen stuff you might expect from a Chuck-E-Cheese or something. We ordered extras like nachos, which were really addicting and crunchy and cheesy and the chicken wings were really good too, really crunchy and flavorful and freshly fried and hot. There's so many activities for the kids to do to keep them busy. My sister did the add-on of VR for the kids as well. So they got to take turns . The laser tag experience was soooo fun for all the kids. It was chaotic but it was nice seeing them play like normal with their friends. Also a small arcade in the front like ski ball, basketball, shooter games, and prize games. I also appreciate there's a bar for the adults and a billiards table so the adults just hung out and socialized as well. My brothers had their fun going down the list of beers one at a time. The staff was very attentive especially in attending to the kids at the party.I have nothing but good things to say about this place and most likely will be celebrating more of our kids' parties here in the future. The food, for me which is if not the most important thing when it comes to throwing a party, was REALLY good, legit restaurant good because it's from the craft-eateryThe place is fun for both adults and kids. I really like the private setup with couches and chairs and billiards and alcoholic drinks for the adults. And the service was above par, the staff member tending to our party and helping the kids last night was excellent. One last thing to mention is that the place felt clean, not groady or sticky like most little kids play places feel like, which is super important especially during these times. The kids couldn't have had a better birthday this year."
"As someone who is a huge fan of barcades, Joystiq was pretty darn fun. Coming from the Bay Area, I'm always amazed at how much more affordable drinks are. We ordered a draft beer and a Paloma, and the bartender said $16...the Bay Area hasn't seen those type of prices in a decade, but I digress...This venue is huge and heard it gets really packed on weekends. We came before dinner across the street and it was nearly empty which was great because there was no wait for the basketball pop a shot or beer pong tables. The pop a shot is a $1 a game and it's an old school arcade that takes quarters at all the machines. They have a coin dispenser so remember to bring cash. I hadn't played beer pong in years, but safe to say, I still got it. They had two tables setup for use, with all the cups filled with water and ping pong balls to use. I really forgot how much fun I have playing BP, especially after some friendly competition with the gf. Overall, if you are looking for a fun place to play arcade games, drinking games, and affordable drinks, this is a great option in downtown Merced. Good for large groups or a competitive date night."
"My buddy Harvey and I dedicated a Tuesday afternoon a took a trip to Alameda to the Pacific Pinball Museum. It's a Museum by name but actually a large pinball arcade. Yes, all of the machines are chronologically placed in 4 rooms with the oldest vintage in the front. I could not believe that I found a 1950's vintage bingo machine that was actually banned and outlawed in the USA because of its gambling use. $22 gives you access to all machines all day. Well both of us played for hours until our necked and back hurt the next day. Super fun. There is a city parking lot behind the museum but it's 2 hr meters so you need to keep feeding the meters."
"I really like it here! Roomy, clean, decent service, and lots of pick a toy machines, arcades, bowling alley, and Karaoke Rooms... what more can one asks for when comes to entertainment!?! ;) Oh, and they have a decent food menu and ice cream for only 99-cents!! Surely no one in town can beat their ice cream deal!"
"The food was cooked to perfection, fresh. The coffee was amazing. And the staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. Oh and the chairs were comfortable. We had breakfast. Would highly recommend it."
"Love this place & will definitely be back. I was lil worried after reading some reviews, but we were looking for a place to have my sons 6th birthday & stumbled upon Lost Worlds. He's a huge dinosaur fan, so as soon as I found it, I knew we had to have his birthday here. The place is super cool & HUGE! There's so much to do! We have to come back & spend a lil more time to get through everything. Our party host was Laila. We had a 2 hour party & she kept it flowing perfectly! She had everything ready, was always there if we had any questions or wanted to add any food. Honestly, after throwing so many parties myself it helped a lot to have an attentive host there taking over almost everything. 500/10 on the service! We can't wait to come back!"
"We'd never been here before and thought we'd give it a try. What a fun time! Went on a Thursday night and they had a league going, but got us right in. The place looks new inside and we were told it had been recently remodeled. Comfortable seating, friendly staff any good fries/pretzels. Plus, they have gutter bumpers you can set to pop up for only the bowler that needs them. It's a drive for us, but I'm sure we'll be back."
"First time adventure at Funworks this afternoon. Definitely filled with LOTS of activities from mini golf, bumper cars, huge arcade, bowling, batting cages, and they also do birthday parties of which several were in the process while we were there. There is a snack bar featuring pizzas, nachos, hot dogs, funnel cake fries, (wow, sadly I didn't get a chance to try that!) various drinks, regular fries, hot dogs and more. There is no unlimited arcade game card like Chuck E Cheese and the $30 for arcade was used quickly as each activity is 4 tokens or more. The arcade games are in close proximity and therefore causing people to bump into each other. Outside the activities are better spaced out. The arcade card automatically registers any tickets you win so you don't have paperto deal with which is a plus."
"So much fun and everything went well for our birthday party! Will come back for other activities"
"1/17/2019: I've been searching for a rainy day, play area where I may safely take my Grand-Daughter for the day; I wouldn't leave her alone playing by herself. I would prefer just hanging out playing with her at Kids' Quest despite, the fact, I know you must pay using the area but, so what: It's still a cool space where she may safely run around without injuring herself! BTW: I paid £7.00 entering Winter Wonderland in London UK and actually, Kids' Quest's admission fee is comparable to Winter Wonderland. Also, it's not dusty or dirty; the entire area is very clean, indeed.Aside, Kids' Quest has a snack bar where pizza, an assortment of finger foods, and drinks cater to any child's taste buds, a plethora of Jungle Jims for climbing, and exploring. All in all, the color, play areas, and decor are geared towards children's sight, sound, and tactile qualities.I just hope there's a creative artwork area where children can create, draw, and design their art and have the ability giving something beautiful they made with their heart and hands to their parents which would be so incredibly awesome!"
"Had a great time at Zap Zone. We did the Axe throwing and some others in our group did Laser Tag. It was newly renovated and the 2 story laser tag looked great but my old knees would not last 2 minutes in there. There were a few beers on tap and we had 2 pitchers of Blue Moon. We also ordered wings and French fries and they were fresh and hot. There's also a small arcade with several games.Very pleased with the facilities and all of the options for our entire group. Kids and adults both had a great time. Will definitely be back."
"We had so much fun here! Came on Halloween night after trick-or-treating. Service was friendly and they had a lane open for us in only 10 minutes. We came from Swansboro and was definitely worth the drive. Will be back to enjoy again soon!"
"I love that the owners decided to invest in Oakland and create a kid-friendly play place. Every parent in Oakland should support! One thing that makes this place unique from other play gyms is that it has a great climbing wall that has a variety of levels and an automatic belay. It seemed super safe. The other fun thing was a free climb wall where the kids could fall off onto a giant inflatable. The ninja obstacle thing didn't seem completely done and I wasn't really sure how the kids were supposed to interact with it. It is quite big so hoping once it is done that it'll be another cool space to play. We spent $30 to enter for 1 kid and $20 for the arcade, which - $50 - was honestly a little pricey for me considering we played for 2-ish hours. That didn't include any snacks from the vending machine. My kid had so much fun so I guess it was worth it!On rainy days this is great place to come. We were happy to be able to do it in Oakland and support an Oakland business owner."
"located at fisherman's wharf...interactive museum and arcade...greeted by a towering laughing sal near the front entrance...pay to see the creepy obnoxiously loud laughing...various antique coin operated mechanical scenes filled with music and movement...old fashion grip strength meter....fortune telling animatronics...various arcade machines from the 80s to 90s...quite entertaining just walking around and observing the various solid wood and steel contraptions...everything was sold and built to last a lifetime...always a favorite stop when walking around the wharf..."
"This place makes bday parties easy Peasy! The staff are super friendly and answers questions via calls or emails. The main menu is pizza which you have to order through them from NY pizza which is nice bc you don't need to worry about picking up or delivery, or ordering directly from them. You can bring your own drinks, cake, chips, etc. They provide plates, utensils and do the clean up! We got to have the 2nd round to our group so it was Everyman for themselves! We've been here a few times as part of public games and the staff are always friendly."
"We held our kids' 14th birthday here with a total of maybe 15 kids and we had 1-2 adult groups too! Everyone had a blast. The boys loved this more than the escape room parties we've held, and want to come back to get through level 2/3! We ordered some of their pizza and some fruit plates. But we were able to bring in our own drinks and water. They also had beer on tap for sale. Tim and his team were great, very kind, and passionate about this business. Great work! And thanks for hosting our crew. We are very grateful. The kids said it was a W party! Total WIN."
"It's been a few years since I've last visited Golfland, but I came the last 2 Fridays as a reward outing for the high readers in my class. The kids collectively chose Golfland as their preferred destination, and I was happy to oblige.Mini golf is a bit pricey now at $15 per adult and $14 per child. However, if you go in the morning right at opening it's pretty empty until about 11 when more people start coming. I got a chance to play Course 2 (which was filled with a lot of "volcanoes") and Course 3 (which had a lot of ramps). It was interesting because the first time I went the scanner for the golf ball machine worked, but the following Friday it was out of operation so we ended up picking our golf ball from a box that they had. Since we came right at opening the staff were still cleaning up the courses, so there were some holes that had a ton of leaves/rocks/debris that we cleared off ourselves. We also did find a few extra balls hanging around which helped because a few of our balls got stuck in some of the contraptions. It took about 90 minutes for 4 of us to finish the 18 holes. The boys I went with wanted to play bumper cars, and they enjoyed themselves despite being the only 3 cars. It cost $8/per kid for about 5ish minutes for the first ride. The second ride was $5 each but we opted to have lunch first. The laser maze that the kids were initially interested in was not working when we visited. The food selection is simple and there's a little bit of something for everybody. What was interesting is both times we went there was some sort of error with our order, but the staff was very quick to upgrade or make another order and bring it over to us. The most recent Friday we went there was a massive birthday party going on, but they managed to service us in reasonable fashion. There was a good variety of arcade games available to play as well. The kiddos I went with spent a little over an hour trying out the games. We loved the four player ice hockey with a ton of pucks that came cascading down at two different points during the game. The kids also enjoyed picking prizes for their tickets, and while part of me missed the nostalgia of real tickets, it definitely made for an easier exchange to have them virtually added to the card.If next year's reward winners want to come here, I'd be happy to come again!"
"Wow this place is cool!! Our family went to Drive Simulations for the first time and my teenage sons and husband had a blast. We'll definitely return. I reserved and paid for the simulators online ahead of time through their website. It's very simple. Once we arrived, we were greeted with enthusiasm by a fantastic guy named Chris. He is so incredibly helpful and has a super personality. He has a huge passion for cars and shared great convo with my sons. He also loves his job and it shows. He explained the different types of simulations available and steering wheel choices. Then they were off! Figuratively speaking. Omg they all had a ton of fun. Highly recommend this place! I should also mention these are high tech, high quality race simulators, and with a little coaching from Chris everyone was able to feel like a pro. Before we left, a couple other players joined in the conversation about cars. This is clearly a place where car enthusiasts like to hang, which is so awesome."
