We lived here for a long time and not once did I complain about how long maintenance replied to work orders. You might as well do the work yourself. I will never blame the leasing managers since they have orders from upper management so I will place the blame on their greedy bosses. They have raised their deposit so don't move here if you do not want to lose that deposit. This is the first landlord out of 3 other landlords I've dealt with To ever say I owe instead of giving my deposit back."

Its quiet and every tenant is so kind and always says Hello. Amanda (Manager) is always on it when something needs to be fixed or when we have a question. No matter what time or day! Poor girl has responded when she is on vacation! We are so thankful for her! The maintenance guy is AWESOME. Once he is called, he is at your door step within the hour to fix what needs to be done! Our AC went out at 9pm one night and we requested service online at 6AM . They were here in the next hour and it was fixed! I am beyond thankful to call this place home. The give you a $10 credit towards your gym membership . The provide text updates with anything new with the building. The pool is cleaned every morning bright and early too! Parking hasn't been a problem for us. Laundry machines are always in working order and if you go early AM they are never crowded. Also, they are Pet friendly !There is a reason why they have a waiting list!"

Jasmine & Val were the best and the house keeping / maintenance team were there to help you with whatever needed to be fixed as soon as possible. The community totally has the family community vibes , my daughter knew all the kids lol The park is so big ! the pool is nice & cool . The apartment itself was really nice too ! Definitely recommend maybe an update on cabinets but other then that i loved our apartment for my little family. Also pet friendly! Rob N. "The family that was put in charge of this complex since the opening has gotten away with a lot of disgusting things and I hope that residents families see this and hold them accountable. Somehow a husband and wife were hired as a team to the manager and maintenance man. Their children had run of the common places for many years and you would see them and their friends taking over those spaces especially while it was supposed to be closed. They charge the residents for everything while the majority of apartment complexes do not do that. What is everything?Residents are charged for Replacement lights and fixtures in the apartments.Gift cards were given to the residents during Christmas, but the manager decided to tell the residents that the cards do not work. Instead of just throwing them away, the manager decided to take them back? Why? Why did she physically have to pick them up?Offering residents a bbq, but charging them for the food! Why is the manager posting need to enter the apartment a day or two before a major holiday? Why is this manager entering the apartments during COVID? This is a senior community where most residents are considered immunocompromised. The manager posts yearly inspections every month or two. This company has a lawsuit on their hands and it's because they refuse to deal with the person that has been running this place. The lady has been there too long and it's time for her to go!!"

Morgan P. "I reviewed this complex 1 year ago and I'd like to wrap up my final thoughts for living at Gateway Station. I've read some of the previous reviews and I've got to say that I've had a completely different experience than half of the Yelpers. 1. As far as parking, I've never had an issue with it. I lived in the complex from April 2020-April 2022. If you want guests to stay overnight you just have to ask for a parking pass, they ALWAYS complied with me. I think it's entirely reasonable for the complex to have strict rules in guest stays.2. Noisey? Not at all, and I lived right next to the park. Of course you'll hear the children playing while their parents supervise. That's normal. If you choose to live in apartment, and you aren't restricted to the first floor due to disabilities then I recommend you live on the 3rd floor. Only time I ever heard my neighbors is when they shut their doors. The front doors do slam pretty hard, they are heavy.3. I kept my thermostat at 69 degrees in summer and 71 in winter. I lived in the 1 bed, 1 bath, 726sqft unit. My bill only ranged from $29-$85. My shared water bill averaged between $55-65 a month. The central heat/air is in great shape, the water heater and pressure is also wonderful. Very harsh water, so prepare for staining. Nothing a quick clean-up can't fix.4. Management accommodated the hell out of my stay. Apartment management can be a nightmare, luckily this was not the case for me. I'm so grateful for what they've done on their end to help me. So thank you, Shelby. Their responses are timely, maintenance staff is very friendly, so I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from in regards to the staff? They always said hello with a smile.5. Pigeons. They are true pests and probably the only negative part about my living situation. They've taken over Tracy in general and they unfortunately took over my balcony. All in all, I was very sad to say goodbye to my apartment today. I highly recommend Gateway Station. It's a beautiful apartment, updated, spacious, and has a great layout."

★★★☆☆ 2.8 (18)

Eric N. "Nice, clean affordable apartments in Stockton...with a lake right next to them. Ok, maybe it's a man made lake but it still looks nice. I have a parent that used to live in the apartments right down the street that were a little less expensive a month but were not quite as nice or well maintained. When she thought about moving she decided that she wanted to live next to the water and she got her wish. Even though these apartments are right next to the lake not every apartment faces the water so she was lucky enough to get one with a nice view looking over the lake. There are a few points that I love about these apartments. First I love the fact that they have washer dryer hookups (at least the one she got does). One of the things that really sucks about apartment living is when you have to lug your things down to the laundromat every week or two in the hopes of clean clothes. Her apartment has a washer dryer hookup and the location in the apartment is well placed. Secondly this location seems less like apartments and more like town houses. You actually have a real mailing address instead of an address and an apartment number if that is any indication of what it is like. Also one of the things she likes most about the apartments is the fact that they are really good in fixing maintenance issues. When her microwave was having issues they replaced it. When her garbage disposal quit they fixed it. They even take care of little things like the smoke detectors. They lose a star for the fact that they are more expensive than other surrounding locations and the fact that even though they have a pool and spa the last couple times I went to use the spa it was cold and not usable. They used to have a basketball court out in front by the street and sidewalk that seemed to not get much use and they recently tore it down and built some little storage areas and playground for the residents. (The storage areas are of course available for a monthly fee.) Lakeview Village gets a solid four stars in my book...one of the nicer all around apartment locations in this area of Stockton.:0)"

"This apartment is rated only 2 stars;1 for being one of the cheapest apartments in Stockton2 for the right price by square foot & exteriorPlease note this review is mainly regarding the apartment customer service and slightly the price and outdoor view.No I do not live here since I didn't get a chance at all because the property manager was completely rude. She made us feel unwelcome. As my partner and I stepped through the door, the property manager just looked at us disgustingly. No smile, no sign of cooperation either. She didn't say a word. She didn't even greet us. So as soon as we walked further in the office we greeted ourselves with a handshake and introduction. Then notified the PM how we knew of the availability. We also asked for more information which we only got the availability month and new rent price. She didn't offer to further the process. We didn't get a chance. Kudos to that place. FYIWell the price rose since the last month to $50 or $70 more so it's $695-$720 for a one bedroom depending on the remodel."

Torcello Apartments

Kathy T. "Torcello is beautifully designed and well maintained. It's also in a gated community, where each apartment had it's own gate code and the exit gate has tire spikes so vehicles can't sneak in after another vehicle leaves. I've viewed several other apartments which are usually ran down, obviously showed wear and tear and smelt old and dirty. But Torcello is by far the nicest.Every apartment also had a personal washer and dryer inside each apartment, which is very convenient because other places will charge you a lot extra to have washer/dryers. And they also had community washers/dryers by the offices. Their office provided a computer room with internet and printer/copy machine. There were plenty of community dumpsters throughout that were gated up and locked. All residents were provided a key to the dumpsters but often people would just leave piles of trash on the ground outside the dumpsters. There's one community pool. It never got too packed here. The water and conditions of the pool area was really well maintained. Whenever I happened to go to the pool, one of the creepy neighbors coincidentally always came out of his balcony and shamelessly stared at me.The driveways and parking spaces were very close to each other with barely any room to maneuver your vehicles. I have gotten several dings, dents and scratches on my car. Some neighbors would park on or over the parking space line too. Parking spaces are assigned and you get a space placker. If someone parked in your spot, towing were available. I still had other people park their car in my assigned parking space and I had to wait for my spot. Some people would often stop or park in the middle of the drive ways where I couldn't get thru. And on some occasions people would park their vehicles blocking my parking space so I couldn't park. There were a few visitors spots available too but not enough for everyone living there. Some neighbors would often walk or stand in the middle of the driveways not paying attention and considering other people driving who needs to get by.I did find bugs alive and dead inside my apartment occasionally.Pets are allowed and I've seen pet feces on the walkways. There are cats running around everywhere and they fight. The cats are always having more kittens. There have been times where the kittens meows non stop at my doors or windows. I've had a kitten try to push and claw it's way through my window screen to get into my apartment. My upstairs neighbors seemed to always be home because I always heard them at all hours with banging noises, stomping around, loud TV and arguing. The neighbors around me too were loud. I didn't interact much with the neighbors but whenever I did, it was because they were blocking or parked in my parking space. Most neighbors were nosy too and will stare at you. Sometimes neighbors would leave their stuff all over the sidewalks where no one else can use the sidewalk and had to walk around. There is an elementary school on the side my apartment was, so it was pretty loud during school hours and after school activities. It was hard for me to sleep when I worked the night shift. The employees here were always nice to me and helpful. I've never had any issues with them. There is a drop box available for rent or forms if they're busy helping other people. The management also conducted routine apartment inspections. The management also do try to keep the apartments a nice place to live but they can't control what all the tenants choose to do. They do also host events at the office and pool area to get the neighborhood together, especially around holidays. This apartment complex is diverse with the kind of people living here. There were also in house handyman to conduct repairs. Everytime something in my apartment needs maintenance, I put in a request and they are pretty good at sending someone out quickly to fix it.There were security available here but I fortunately never had to call them. Every once in a while, actual cops would come by. And I think this place had housekeeping, they wouldn't actually clean your apartment while you are living here but I would see workers clean up the sidewalk and dumpster areas after the messy neighbors.I was living here only as an transition from me selling a house to buying another house. Any place you'll live will have it's pro and cons, and I would consider these apartments a much cleaner and safer place to live than most in Stockton. When I moved out, the management kept my entire down deposit to professionally clean the apartment for the next tenants and for normal wear and tear from living there. My down deposit wasn't much compared to other rental places. They didn't charge me much in addition because I tried to keep the apartment clean and didn't cause any damage to the unit."

Kaukeb Y. "I moved here in Dec 2020. I was a little skeptical about the reviews but I drove by here a few times and I felt I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. So far, I am very glad I decided to move here. Honestly, it is so quiet here that the only noises I hear often is either cars driving by or pipes in the walls making noise. I do think the walls are thin enough that I can almost hear everything in the apartments surrounding me, because anytime there is a flush from the apartment upstairs, I can hear it clearly in my apartment. Or if the person next to me is taking a shower, and if I am in the bathroom, I can hear the water running. So possible it's just very old pipes because that's really all I ever hear. Other than that, the neighborhood is quiet. No critters in my apartment, yet again I did move in winter so I will update this if anything changes. The neighborhood is very quiet, even though there are kids outside all the time. I work from home and the outside noise is never an issue. I did walk by the park, and I have to admit, I wouldn't let my child play there. One of the slides is so far off the floor that I don't know how kids don't hurt their bottoms going down it. I do think they should update the playground to make it more inviting and enjoyable for kids. The gate that many people complained about, has never been an issue. It does stay open all day until 6pm when the office staff leaves. I don't necessarily think it should stay open because we all have key fobs and also a gate code to let in visitors. I just don't understand the point of having a gated community if it's only gated after a certain time. Also maintenance is very quick with their responses but that could just be because they have a great staff right now. Parking tho is dreadful. My parking space isn't even near my apartment which sucks when it comes to groceries and when friends visit they could never find parking unless it was on the other side of the neighborhood. But these are all things that aren't that big of a deal and I can live with. I do hope this helps in some way!!"

She helped us every step of the way, and went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed, both peace and quiet-wise, and financially. She made the transfer process go seamlessly, worked with us on move-in/out dates, and worked with upper management to make things as financially feasible as possible. She's been nothing but fantastic! We love our new apartment! It feels like a house. Not only is it equipped with quartz counters (!!), a WiFi enabled stove, an updated dishwasher and fridge (can you tell I love to cook?), and a washer/dryer, but the backyard space is ample for an apartment and the grounds are beautiful. It's a short distance away from Downtown Livermore, which has some fabulous food and shopping. The feel here is like a small town with big conveniences. My neighbors had kids but you'd think they had zoo animals lol. I never complained, because I too have kids but i always wondered what in the world were they doing up there. It's definitely a place for couples without kids or singles, because my kids didn't have much to do outside. We are use to having a yard or parking lot with more sidewalks then actual parking lot, if that makes sense. I took them on walks a lot, but there wasn't anywhere for them to actually play. Sometime I took them over to the next apartment to play in the park. We made it work. The amenities opened up a while after we moved in there, so that was cool. The pool was nice. Didn't like that there isn't assigned parking at all, but we also made that work. I love that we were surrounded by many things. Anytime I had to reach out to the leasing office I had no issues. They were helpful. I specifically liked Leia, and Erica. Maintenance was slower than I'm use to, but once they came things got worked out. My car got vandalized literally days before I was supposed to move out, and they were very helpful to me in the leasing office. Our apartment was in the back and we were constantly surrounded by young kids and teenagers hanging outside until 10p. (Summer nights were the worst) We wanted our apartment to be in the far back because we thought it would be quieter but it's actually the opposite. One thing I really dislike (almost hate) is how inconsistent the staff is. Its not a small problem its a huge problem that does not get addressed by sending in someone to spray here and there. Its gotten so bad beucase of the lack of urgency to adress this situatuin. Instead of worrying about partking spaces fix the living condionts of the residents that pay to live here. When you walk in the office you get eye rolls and attitude, if you do not like your job get a new one, but you are here to serve the residents that live here. The manager kept our deposit even though they failed to address the issues we had in our apt. The washer and dryer was great, and worth the extra cost of the apartment rent itself. Rent was $822 including garbage. Water was never more than $50, and my PG&E (no joke) was sometimes only $15. The doors only come with a deadbolt. The cupboards are still made of particleboard with an awful stick-on fake wood design. Everything has been painted over a million times. The carpets are light and easy to get dirty if you have high foot traffic. Be careful of the towel rack which I broke by pulling a towel off... Cheaply installed, but hey what do you expect. Lots of storage space. The outside is well kept. Lots of shade. A family environment as I see kids everywhere. Easy access to all the places you want to go in stockton.Management was so friendly and very accommodating. Stacey is unappreciated and overworked by her bosses, but since she lives in the premises she knows all. She'll reign in her maintenance workers if they sass one of the tenants. Gated community: yes, the front pedestrian gate is open during the day when the office is open, but trust me when I say Stacey knows when someone is roaming the premises and they don't live there. Consider that a plus.Water/sewer included - enough said.Pedestrian friendly: the community has Safeway, CVS, restaurants, the Troke Public Library, and Lincoln Center within walking distance. Lovely when there are outdoor events at Lincoln Center. Cons: decorative plants (read-weeds) in the back of the property, a-choo for my allergies! What did not sit well with me was what happened after we left. They pretty much just eat your one month security deposit. At the time when we rented, it was $825/month for a 2 bed 1 bath. We decided to leave after our one year contract was up and rent was raised to $1,100+.Everything was in the same condition with the exceptions of a few marker spots my toddler drew on the wall. We were sent a check for $100 and change from our security deposit. Then they had the nerve to bill us $110 to repaint the entire apartment! What?!
