"Updating my review because I just ate here again! The sever Donyella is the nicest person ever. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They are open!! Come eat here. I love this place. I will be back soon."
"Got there right when it opened on a Saturday and waited only 10 minutes. The train ride itself is nice and slow that's safe for little babies and a good portion of the ride was in the shade."
"So my nephew booked us a three day full hook up spot. Let me explain where these spots are located, in an area where people live. Kind of weird right? It ended up working out. The nearby waters were filthy with debris. A lot of dilapidated decks just rotting away into the waterway. Literally under water and very dangerous. I even saw a raft tied up to the dock. I'm only knew it was a raft because I saw it underwater. Seems like no one takes care of their areas. Sad because she have water front property. The staff was pretty nice. The fishing was HORRIBLE!!!! I went with the idea that I would catch some trout because of all the IG videos they post but I was pretty disappointed. All the people on the docks, banks and in boats were NOT catching any trout. This could be because the water was warm and the trout were deep. Even then the dock area was 60+ feet deep. We should have caught one trout with 8 poles out right?I did catch a couple of small blue gill. Nothing to brag about. I go fishing to eat not for the sport. Their swim pond area was decent. They have a dock you can jump off of and a water slide. The kids loved it. I did see a doe. That was cool. Did I mention they charge you $7 bucks to fish? You still need a fishing license plus their fee. I paid $28 bucks for no fish. In the end would I return? Probably not. This was a one and done for me."
"Parking over here sucks The city needs to do something to update the parking here make more restroom available and make it more friendly for people with young children at night usually could see people doing dumb stuff in their vehicles at this park is not good part to be at at night when I go here to watch games I will never let the site supervisor leave the park by himself I will usually stay and walk with them out"
"Super cute! We took a 3 year old and 4 year old, and it was perfect for them.Parking was easy; we lucked out and got a street spot right out front. No charge. There several rides and we easily occupied 3 hours. Lines were pretty short and they never had to wait more than 2 cycles. They particularly loved the dragon roller coaster and the teacups. Employees did a fine job but they ranged from enthusiastic to extremely bored. Didn't really bother me.Minus 1 star for limited food options and no water. The concession stand literally didn't have water on tap or bottled water (they said their shipment didn't come in)."
"We had such a great time here today. It wasn't hot, and we went between storms so it was dry and we had nice overcast skies. Coming between storms (I called for our 2 spots 45 minutes before since we were watching the weather) was great since hardly anyone else was there - we mostly had the quarry to ourselves. If you are close enough with some flexibility, doing this makes a two hour slot here more productive and you don't have to worry about the heat (inside the quarry it's warmer than up above + there is very little shade on blue sky days). We did the 2 hour Granite Adventure tickets. A 30 minute orientation and gear overview is before the two hours start session. We started on part two of Via Ferrata on the lower section as recommended by the guide. We then made it to the upper part of section three and finished on the bottom of section four. The last climb up on section four is a doozy for someone like me who's not used to climbing up,l to the end of it, with some water dripping on me - but it was a fun stretch of what I can do. This took just over an hour for us. After Via Ferrata we went to the zip line to get down to Aerial Adventure, and we did the medium/middle course there before I called it a day. My husband was able to squeeze in one trip down Free Fall. We had a good time and the staff was great. It was a great day out with some activity that challenged us in a positive way. We've brought our own gloves when we've done other courses in Lake Tahoe, but it slipped our minds today. I think that would be helpful next time and for anyone not dealing with climbing metal and using ropes regularly (or ask if they have some). Make sure to book online before, or call in for a spot. They do weigh you when you sign in, and they ask that you read and sign the waiver online. There are restrooms and lockers for your things if you need it."
"It's a great place with so many park areas inside. I love that it is wheelchair friendly but also has a lot of places to sit. I was able to use my canes the second time we came for a visit. They have a water feature next to their food court. The train, boat and carrousel are for purchase of tickets. Very affordable for entrance and the rides. Lots of shady areas so it not like a hot place. They have party areas if you would like to have a party here.Parking and location is good. Wasn't hard to find."
"What an adventure to come here. We didn't know what to expect when we decided to come for this. Randomly discovered this and it was absolutely fabulous. We had a toddler with us so going 16 floors under the surface level is not something we would usually sign up for but he is a sport so why not! There are tons of stairs so won't recommend for folks with knee injury. There isn't any bending or crawling so folks with back issues can manage (speaking from experience with other caves) We came at a time no other folks were there so we kind of got a nice private little tour and the staff was amazing! They not only took us down and told us about the stalactites and stalagmites but it was amazing to see when the lights turn off how dark it gets.. it was extremely scary for that half a min but also super peaceful to be in this black space one can't imagine. I had never experienced anything this dark in my life so I quite enjoyed this first! My kiddo was scared for a split second but like I said he is a sport! I am definitely coming back here for the half day expedition tour someday in the future to get my adrenaline going! This is an amazing amazing experience and highly recommend it."
"This is such a fun place for the younger/little kids. It's basically as if they took Legoland and wound up all the rides for younger kids and put them in Pixieland. Parking is free here and you'll probably end up spending $35+ on ride tickets. It'll all be worth it because your kid would have had a blast!"
"Arcades are a dying industry, many people play their video games online or through home consoles now, so much in fact that the classic standalone unit is going extinct very quickly. It's nice to see a place like this in full operation still after so many years, the games remain hands on and players have to work towards an actual physical prize. The game inventory here isn't too bad, they have a few "new" release titles with many being slightly older, but still popular like Time Crisis and Initial D Racing. I wish the games still accepted coins to play and payed out prizes in paper tickets, but their pre-loaded cards are more current with the times and cause less clutter."

The breakfast was really good. I had the Hambone and my family had the chicken fried steak. They make their own chicken fried steak. It melts in your mouth. And the ham was grilled to perfection and has great flavor and texture. We'll be back. :)

This place is a gem in Los Gatos! We take my son here whenever we get a chance. There is also a carousel next door and lots of parks and areas for families and kids. The railroad "workers" are great and one of the guys even told us a great story about the history of the railroad and how the maker also helped out Disney with the railroad at Disneyland!

I enjoyed my trip here. Great fishing. Kids caught a ton of blue gill. They stock lightning and rainbow trout. Nice place and campsites look like they're nicely located.

My kids absolutely love Funderland. It is a great outdoor amusement park where they are able to socially play. They love riding on the train, the buggies, the airplane, and the carousel. There is a new addition of an obstacle course with a big slide that they enjoy. Sadly, the park is closed until February.

4 stars ****I've been here a bunch of times, maybe at least 4 or 5. I've purchased tickets with my kiddos usiing school funds, got great deals on Black Friday, and paid full price as well. Coming here with family and also with friends & their kids is fun. One thing is for sure, if you like adventure, daring heights, but also like being safe, you will have a great time here. Regarding the obstacles, there are easy, medium, and hard obstacles. I've tried all of the obstacles, at different times of the day, but suggest signing up online as early in the day as possible due to traffic & heat. I don't have much complaints about the obstacles, except the very last time I went on the medium course in December 2024, the "key" part that pushes into the hold that releases the other part so you can move on, came off and fell 60 feet to the ground below after I moved on. So, I don't know how the people continued on the obstacle after I left. Can you imagine being that high, even say on the Via Ferrata (iron wall) and you are trying to yell for help and no one can hear you?Another small thing, is there isn't consistently people to help us go on certain courses, the Via Ferrata in particular. The last two times I've been here we've had to wait for a little bit for a helper to allow us to get approval to climb. We only have 2 hours to actually climb and soar after we are taught how to work all the gear. It would be nice to have help right away. The starting area, which is the long zipline that crosses the length of the water and lands on the start of the obstacles, is fun but also not as scary as it looks. I've done all the obstacles, and about 75% of the Via Ferrata aka iron wall. My favorite one for sure is the Via Ferrata.Pro tip: Use hiking boots. This last time I went in December and due to the muddy ground, the metal rungs were a bit slippery causing me to panic on a few climbs. Come with layered clothing, snacks in the hip pack, sunscreen and gloves especially if youre going on the Via Ferrata. You don't need to bring your own water because there's bottled water in various areas in the park in coolers available for you. They also sell snacks at the check in area. The free fall is something I haven't done mostly because it looks kinda boring. But, my kids have done that and they had to wait a bit to get on it due to lack of helpers. We usually do the Granite Adventure. Regular price is $80 per person, which is a 2-hour total experience (30-minute Gear Up & Orientation + 2 hours of Adventure). It includes access to all six activities located within/atop the quarry. Guests are typically able to complete two or three of these offerings when visiting on a Granite Adventure Ticket.Must weigh 45 to 250 pounds for this ticket type.Kids age 11 and under require a Supervising Companion (age 14+).Other adventures are a 4 hour Gold Adventure ticket, a pick 3, a rock climbing only, KidzLove for ages 3-13 (looks super fun for the lil ones) & paddle boarding. If I recall correctly they also have a few special events during the year like Halloween night climbs too. I'd love to do that with my spouse one day if I feel especially daring. I suggest going in the morning, it gets hot no matter what time of year you go due to all the physical activity. I suggest Quarry Park for beginner thrill seekers. It's great for singles, but highly suggest for families, couples, dates, best friend outings, double dates, team building, etc.Great for fun adventures on holidays so kids can get outta the house and fun day trip for out of town guests too.

As an Oakland native, Pixie Woods definitely reminded me of Fairyland! Same concept. I brought my daughter on their opening Day June 1st as they were celebrating its 70th Birthday and had a carnival, cake, face painting, magic show all included with admission which was thoughtful! If I remembered correctly admission is $6. Rides are $5 for 3 rides. (They only have 3 rides: boat ride, train ride, & carrousel) OR $9 for unlimited rides wristband. We ended up getting the wristband but it wasn't worth it, as the park was extremely packed and the lines for the rides were pretty lengthy, we only got on each ride once, but I'm sure on a regular day with no event happening, it's worth it to get the unlimited.Carrousel was so fun, goes pretty fast. Train ride was funny with all the things you pass and see along the ride, and the tunnel was the cutest, get ready to get your phone out and take a video. They even have a little water park so be sure to pack an extra pack of clothes for the kiddos unless you don't mind them getting soaked and getting back in your car. They have a food stand with foods like hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, chili, chips, shaved ice, fountain drinks, etc. We didn't purchase food here but prices ranged from $4-$8 I believe. This was a great way to spend a few hours and let your kids run around, play and tire them out. I'd definitely bring my daughter back. I am pretty bummed, there opening day my daughter & I stood in line for face painting for 1h & 35m literally and it was during the time that they passed out the raffle it was 70 $70 gift cards and apparently my number got called while in line & I didn't hear it and it's not like I had anyone to go get my prize for me. So by the time my daughter got her face painted and we went to give them our #. They said they called it out already and literally handed out the last gift card to someone. So that was pretty sucky. It's okay though. We had a great time and it was a great event.Their hours of Operation are:June - July 2024 Thursday - Sunday 10am - 4pmAugust - October 2024 Saturday & Sunday Only 10am - 4pm

Moaning Caverns was a great stop! Tickets were reasonably priced, which was nice. Since there isn't a whole lot to do beyond the tour, I'd recommend bringing a picnic to enjoy the views after your visit. The gift shop is there, too, and has some pretty affordable items if you're looking for a small souvenir.Mom Tip: I visited with my 5- and 7-year-old, and they were quite scared once we got inside, so we ended up turning back. I'd suggest showing younger kids a video ahead of time so they know what to expect before you spend on tickets.

"Great little spot for kid's birthday gathering. What kid doesn't love merry go a round!? Plenty of free parking."
"This park is on the edge of the beautiful Lake Natoma on the American River. We stopped late in the day and the power station was not open. I was disappointed I could not tour the historic power plant buildings. I still enjoyed the park. There are several trails leading down to the lake. The one I wandered down had a large native grinding stone at the edge of the lake. I watched people fish and other people in kayaks slowly cruising around. There were no water-skiers in sight. It was a very peaceful place. I am planning on going back to explore old Folsom and the power plant. It is only open for guided tours. I am fascinated by the history of the Sacramento area"
"This place makes bday parties easy Peasy! The staff are super friendly and answers questions via calls or emails. The main menu is pizza which you have to order through them from NY pizza which is nice bc you don't need to worry about picking up or delivery, or ordering directly from them. You can bring your own drinks, cake, chips, etc. They provide plates, utensils and do the clean up! We got to have the 2nd round to our group so it was Everyman for themselves! We've been here a few times as part of public games and the staff are always friendly."
"WOW!We needed such an indoor playground in our community for such a long time. Thank you!My three kids came last Sunday. Ran around for 3 hours. They were tired and got a very good night sleep. This design is very nice. Really feel like you been to Disney without having to drive to LA. Kids very extremely happy. We will be back."
"I highly recommend at least experiencing this place once. There's plenty to do for the kids from pony rides, playground, inflatable slide, haunted house, corn maze, goat feeds, and much more. I was surprised that they had clean restrooms (not portable), definitely a plus.I will have to disagree with their "scary and not scary" haunted house. I entered the "not scary" haunted house and was also told by one of their employees that it wasn't scary at all. Some kiddos in my party were scared including my own. I probably wouldn't re-enter the haunted house again if I ever returned here. The place gets packed but the lines did move fairly fast for the Hay and train rides we rode. My party enjoyed it but I would've been more impressed if there were better scenery for the Hay Ride. Great photo ops for Fall and yummy pumpkin spice ice cream!"
"Another great testament to community involvement. With the guidance and diligence of EDHDog.org, the new dog park has finally opened (06/05/2015) in "the EDH". Plenty of shade trees, open space, poop bags and water fountains ( for humans & K-9's)**water fountains for humans & K-9's. Poop bags for dogs only. Both the big dog (over 30lbs) and small dog areas have ample room to run and play. We now have 3 very nice dog parks ( Folsom / Cameron Park ) within a 10 mile radius of our home. What a great place for "Man's best friend" to run, play and meet new friends."
"This cute little gem in Merced, is a defiantly must go to if you have little ones! We brought our two grandsons ages 2.5 and 7 months old. They have carnival like rides for the littles, a little train ride and a snack bar. The staff was very nice, the place was clean and well kept. They have a unlimited wristband for $10 dollars or tickets are .50 cents each and each ride is 1 ticket. Very affordable. There is a little zoo next door, and a large park as well, with lots of shade. I am so glad we found this little place, our grandsons had a great time and we will be coming here again very soon!"
"What a great time! I would highly recommend. What a dedicated group of volunteers who provide you with a memorable, wonderful experience. A must do!"
"Had a fantastic visit here on the Sunday of a long weekend. Download the app, sort by wait time, and ride whatever has the shortest wait! It worked beautifully, even tipping me off to the fact that a popular ride which was down for service had just reopened and there was no wait! The 3pm pass was also a great deal and worked out so well. The park is a tad run down in spots but you can't beat this place for the price -- a third of what you pay for Disneyland. We thought it was a great value. Snoopy is a bonus!Extra points added for the incredibly awesome app, efficient lines, and the value of the 3pm pass! Go before they go out of business!"
"My adult daughter wanted to see a capybara and the closest one we could find was at the Happy Hollow Park & Zoo! It ended up being a family event with my adult son and husband tagging along.Parking was easy, but there is a pay station ($10) and then you put your receipt in the dashboard. An attendant was at the pay machine helping out which made it so much easier. We took the walkway with the bridge to the zoo. It's a cool suspension bridge but if you get queasy with heights, don't look down. There are two entrances: general admission and members. The senior discount applies to persons +60 years old and we scored the $3 discount (LOL)!We headed straight to the zoo section and the first animal we see is a capybara! These large rodents can grow up to 4' but it wasn't as big as the giant ant eater! Sadly, the red panda was not on display. There were several other areas that were closed for remodeling so sadly not that many animals.Danny the Dragon was closed but I did get my kids on the roller coaster that was closest to a train ride that my son used to love as a child. They were too big for the ride but they still made the best of it.I remember visiting Kelley Park and Happy Hollow when I was in college a long time ago. It's definitely been upgraded thanks to it's proximity to Silicon Valley but it's a good place for a quick visit to take the kiddos."
"I've passed this place a million times, I didn't think it was open. Our friends mom took her great grandkids a week before we went and she convinced us to go because of the crawfish fishing. I highly recommend doing this and getting a pole for yourself! My kids had the most fun fishing for crawfish and zip lining. The day we went the train and carousel weren't open. But this place is huge and lost of play structures and houses for kids to play at. Not to mention the cute spots for birthdays. I was admiring them as every spot had a party during the time we went.Keep in mind this place is cash only. I wasn't aware of it but thankfully our friends mom was prepared. The snack bar does Zelle and I believe you can use card to purchase tickets to get in, but the fishing poles are cash only."
"We had the absolute best time! We bought our tickets online and there is a family pack that saves you some money. You can also do the waivers online prior to arriving. The parking was free and in the same vicinity as the ice rink. I imagine when they're super busy people will use the parking garage across the street. We went today & it's been raining pretty much all day today. It wasn't too crowded and it looked like people were celebrating birthdays. There is designated times for each group session. So check online before arriving. Our session time was 230-340pm. We got there a little early and drank hot chocolate in the snack bar area. They also had little areas where you can take photos by a Christmas tree and Christmas decor. After the other session was done they announced for the session to get off the ice and turn in their equipment. Then someone cleaned the ice up and announced for the 2:30 session to get on the ice. We got our skates and we rented two devices to support our kids when they're skating (I don't know what it's called.) we had so much fun skating! A lot of people were falling and getting back up! It was so fun! They also had staff in the ice rink to help people that needed more support in getting up after falling. We can't wait to come back!!!!!!"
"I used to come here a lot when I was a kid so when I came here to do some mini golfing for fun with my husband, it was so cool to see how much has since. They have a fun are for young children to play like a jungle gym. You can reserve rooms for birthday parties too! I didn't get the chance to look inside, but it seems to have enough space to fit a bunch of children inside. They offer mini golf, go kart racing, laser tag, boat bumpers and a decent size area for video games. I like that there are two different route options (A/B) at the mini golf so that way you aren't just waiting a long time for the person ahead of you to finish that course. I didn't get the chance to do the other options, but it seemed fun when I was watching other families and their children play. I will say this place is a must go to if you have a family and want a good family outing day."
"My husband found Rail Explorers in Amador by chance and we decided to take it! This is a great experience and what a surprise! We visited on Easter (we forgot about the holiday since we didn't have any family plans this year) and the staff who greeted us were just as happy as us to be there. The parking is very well maintained and plentiful for our entire group. We checked in at the small gift shop and they gave us bracelets and said we could wait in the tables and chairs until they were ready for us to start. It was a chilly but sunny beautiful spring day so we were thankful for that because the previous day was one of the roughest rain and lightning storms of the year and the group was delayed so we JUST made it on our day. The staff offered to take our pictures by their sign and showed us to the bathrooms to use before we departed as there were no bathrooms on the trip. And let me just say the bathroom was a trailer like one at events I've seen. I was so surprised when I went into the bathroom and there were like 4 or 5 stalls and a sink with a mirror! They also have a ground level more accessible large port-a-potty. We were called to the carts and given the safety and operational instructions about the carts and what we should expect from our excursion. Everyone was super nice and very informed - they all supported each other which was nice to see. We got on our cart, we had a 2 person one and I was surprised it was so spacious - the website said you can bring a dog and/a cooler/backbacks etc. We were super eager to take our cart out! The cars are motor assisted so we weren't expecting much resistance, but I was a little worried about it at first because I'm not in the best shape! But when we were given the OK and took off, the resistance was next to nothing! My feet were almost slipping off the pedals like I was on a bike that the chain fell off LOL. They offered cars with 4 seats as well. The ride was about 8 miles total according to the guides and we stopped traffic a few times to cross the highways - that was funny, I had no idea we were going to be crossing road ways, but the staff operated the RR Crossing lights, bells, and arms and also sent staff out in neon vests to ensure no cross traffic. The ride itself was pretty relaxing and super fun! It may have been too early for many wildflowers but we were able to see some flowers against the green hills from all the rain. At the halfway point, we slowed and stopped our cars and were guided toward a bluff overlooking a valley in the distance. It was beautiful and there were seats all along the bluff. Great for pictures and a picnic! The staff turned our cars around and we were off back to where we started. All in all it was a very nice adventure - we'll bring some friends and more food next time! Thanks for being open on a holiday too!"
"If you have children, they will love it here. The prime age of enjoyment is from 3-8 years old because you are old enough to ride the rides on your own. We have a membership and visit frequently. We recently checked out the Fairy Winterland and it was nice. The lights were so pretty and the Holiday decor was nice and festive."
