Buy 4 Less

Absolutely the WORST store ever. If I could rate this a ZERO I would.Instead of it being named "Buy 4 Less" it should be named "Bugs 4less". There are so many insects crawling around! Unbelievable. I walked into this store briefly to check it out.. looking for some groceriesI needed. When I walked in, I was welcomed.. not by the employees..but by the bugs around the door! And when I returned home to speak to my husband about this.. he told me a couple years back that they had RATS! That's absolutely disgusting. Not even the worst part.. I went to go get some eggs and they were already EXPIRED! I checked the other eggs and they were ALSO expired. I can't believe they would sell such a thing. I walked out of the store immediately. Never going back again.

This place just gets better and better. I am never disappointed coming in and I always leave with more than I need because the prices are so good. Stopped in again today because Bevmo didn't have what I was looking for and this place had it for $1! Yay! I was able to find a great price on my favorite tea, snacks for my puppy and tons of other miscellaneous things including microwavable breakfasts with eggs, sausage and hash browns for $1.15 each! We also noticed a white board they put up that allows customers to leave suggestions of what they would like to see in the store. What a great idea! The store was clean and well organized and the employees are always friendly and helpful. This is by far the best grocery store in our community!

No longer carry birch beer and the cashiers are pretty curt, customer service is pretty non existent. If u want a friendly neighborhood grocery, this ain't it. But again if u want a place to swing by the," oh crap, I forgot milk", this place is just fine

Love this place! Shop here bi-weekly. I always stock up on great canned goods, baby food, cereal, organic foods, and yogurt. Also, usually a great place to find household cleaning items, laundry detergent and canning items. I usually spend about $60 and fill 5-8 grocery bags!

Today was my first time at the little gem of a grocery store! Very impressed by the low prices and selection of organic foods. The atmosphere was friendly and our cashier was a sweet heart. Will surely return!

My family moved to Lodi right after the Civil War, & has been here ever since. I've been shopping at Buy-4-Less for many, many years. Despite the poor selection, & poor customer service, I usually shop here at Buy-4-Less 1--2 times per day, every day, while shopping for a vineyard and/or winery to buy in the greater Lodi area. But I have NEVER EVER been treated sooo rudely as I was today by some "twisted troll" there at Buy-4-Less. Upon reaching the check stand today, I hold the clerk ahead of time that my purchase was contingent or conditional upon being able to get an extra $10 change in QUARTERs for a car wash, to wash the vineyard dust off of my car. The young Hispanic chick rudely threw a $10 bill at me! I calmly handed it back to her, & reminded her that I told her BEFORE I made my purchase, that my purchase was contingent upon getting $10 in QUARTERs & She told me fine. I'm sorry you are having a bad day, but throwing $10 bill in my face doesn't constitute $10 in quarters, nor good customer service. She lied, & claimed that on a Thursday morning she was given all the change they would have for the entire weekend! I've been a CFO, & I know that's not true. But I didn't call her on her obvious lie. I calmly asked her where I could go in THIS neighborhood this time of evening to get quarters, as it was be dark soon, & I didn't have time to waste? But she kept rudely yelling at me, & arguing about her precious quarters. I told her, you obvious didn't listening to me; I asked what other business on THIS street I can go to to buy quarters now? She rudely directed me to a grocery store down in Stockton! I just said nothing & walked away from this bitter, mean, rude twisted troll. As I was about to walk out the door, I asked a different clerk if she knew of any any business nearby were I could buy quarters. But the Hispanic troll ran clear across the store, interrupted a private conversation I was having with another clerk, got in my face, became rude, & started cussing me out. I calmly advised her I was having a private conversation with someone else, she wasn't invited, she was rudely interrupting; & if she must know, I was merely asking the other clerk where on THIS street I could buy quarters, as I loyally give this store all my business & don't shop anywhere else, & don't have time to drive to a store way down in Stockton for change. I turned & started walking out the door. After I was out the door & starting towards my dusty luxury car, the rude twisted Hispanic troll started cussing me out, rudely hurling rude, false character assassinations at me, accusing me of being rude to everyone there, threatening to ban me from the store, even far worse! "When the owner is away, the children will play." YOU, dear owner, need to know that this is how she treats your best loyal, kind, & one of your very long-term customers! I am a successful professional business man, & senior citizen, who doesn't have time for her rude, lying, unprofessional character assassinations!!! I don't know what her problem was, don't know if she was off her psyc meds, or what, but she needs to leave her personal problems at home! I don't care WHAT her problem is, as there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever! It's costing you good very long-term daily customs! A twenty mule mule-team couldn't ever drag me back in that store, despite some of the other nice people who work there. If one of my employees EVER treated ANY of my customers, even ONE of my customers, like she treated me, she would no longer be working for me EVER again!!! Several other people warned me that they were treated the exact same way there, but I had trouble beleiving it, or thought they most have said or done something to deserve being treated like that. Now I know they were telling the truth! Other customers be forewarned, no matter how nice, how professional you are, no matter how often you shop there, no matter how much money you spend there, eventually this is how you will get treated and rewarded for your loyalty!!! Save you money, & go somewhere where you'll be treated like a human being! Many of their prices are higher than Walmart, WinCo, & similar stores, some of their products are past code date, & some of their Dairy products are kept temperatures that are way too high. If your dog is really your best friend, then why would you ever feed it their rancid dog food that has been baking in the sun all day, every day, in the 100-110 degree heat, on cement that about 160 degrees hot? Why risk food poisoning on their risky human products? Why drive out of your way to somewhere like this place that doesn't have all you need, so you'll just have to go somewhere else anyway? Why put up with rude unprofessional service, character assassinations, threats, & maybe worse? We deserve so much better than that for our hard earned money! Hold onto your wallet, go to a better store, with better, safer products, better prices, & MUCH better customer service!

This store is so fake, the food is no good, customer service is very bad, and they will not hire people of different races, I am disgusted

Nice local store, with special deals. Not a full blown grocery store with deli or meat displays. However quality little community store! We love it, for the quick runs to the store!!

I rode my electric scooter to buy for less and they complained about me having it inside the store they cut it a bicycle one is a electric scooter.They're rude and I believe they're druggies...Since they're a rude to me about my electric scooter and they don't want me to bring it in because they didn't say why and they don't have it posted on the door and all I was going for was foil that's it and make complain about my electric scooter it's small they're stupid there

I will never shop there again I've been going to buy for less for 15 years and when I was shopping a young lady approached me and told me she'd have to retrieve my backpack while shopping I said she's more than welcome to look in it when I'm done shopping or if you want to look at it now but I'm not handing over my purse to anyone a few words were exchanged and I left I can understand why they do it to students but I'm not a student I'm a woman who's not giving up her purse. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager I said I want to speak to the owner and she said the owner wasn't there I hope they don't treat all their clients like this and if so good luck with business. And if you're the owner reading this you can look at the tape on camera where I offered to have her look through my purse and she said no. It happened September 18th
