Finally Lulu works again in her full glory! No one in the Sacramento area fixes these fabulous old stoves! I have a 1950 Wedgewood, and my broiler went out. Josh & Tom were a pleasure. They fixed my broiler and showed me what to do if it happens again. Instead of pressuring to buy a part, they explained how to work with what I had (giving me the option). They also fixed the springs on my oven door, and gave me some tips on using my range. You have to make an appointment and be a bit flexible, since they are based in Stockton. Call ahead, they are pretty booked.

Tom and Josh are amazing! They completely refinished this 1954 Wedgewood stove. It's stunning. They've been doing this a long time and it shows in their work. This stove will last another 20-25 years and cooks like a dream. We are so very happy.

I have an old 1950 wedgewood. Its hard to find people who really know them and how to work on them. I had a simple fix, but they made sure everything else was working to, and guaranteed it for 90 days. Also they showed up right when they said they would.

I purchased a 1950's Wedgewood stove and it is an amazing piece of art for my kitchen. They do wonderful restoration and the pricing is well worth it. I've been using my stove for several months and every day I love it more. Instead of buying new, give a restored stove a chance, you won't be sorry. We traveled from Carson City to Stockton because of the great reviews they had and we are super happy with our purchase.

I had to replace my dryer and it was nice to walk into a place that had CLEAN used appliances. The prices were good and I couldn't believe they delivered it for me immediately! Great people.

Yes, yes, yes!I bought an antique gas stove (c. 1920s) on ebay, and then had it restored by Buckeye. They did a fantastic job from start to finish, including pickup, restoration, delivery and installation. I had to wait several months for my turn for restoration, but they warned me about that at the start and then called me up to say it was our turn, right on schedule. The family that owns the store knows a LOT about old stoves, and what they don't know, they'll learn. Mine is a brand that is not common in California--a Stewart, by the Fuller-Warren Company in Detroit. It has a very unusual oven thermostat. They figured out how it worked, and calibrated it, and it has worked like a champ now for about three years. Both at pickup and installation the guys who came out answered questions about the stove and gave me more information than I knew I needed. Fantastic job, and price was reasonable for the work involved.I finally made it down there to visit their store a year or so after getting our stove installed. If I had done this first, I never would have bought on ebay; I would have gone straight to them. They had several fully-restored stoves of the same vintage that were much nicer, for less than I ended up paying for ebay purchase and shipping. They even gave us a good lead on a restorer of old refrigerators when the ones they had there would not fit our odd little refrigerator cabinet. One warning about going into their store: hang on to your credit card! :-D Mine flew out of my wallet and I ended up with a big pile of kitchen stuff, plus vintage sewing patterns and an awesome Santa-in-Hawaii shirt for my husband--all stuff I didn't know we "needed" until I walked in. Also got a light globe and fixture from their architectural salvage section for a good price, the item I was actually looking for, so the trip was worthwhile as well as hecka fun. The kitchen vignettes set up in the showroom themselves are worth the drive to Stockton from Sacramento. Great place.

I'm remodeling my bathroom and kitchen. Just drove an hour to shop here. It's 1 and they aren't open. But their voicemail says it should be. I suggest calling first if you are coming. So bummed to just have to turn around and drive home

Buckeye Appliance & Antiques just restored our cute little apartment sized 1940s O'Keefe and Merritt stove, and did a terrific job!! It looks just like new and I can't stop admiring it. The black porcelain on the grates is super shiny, the chrome is sparkling, the inside is restored to it's immaculate working order, and the stove now works works perfectly. It will last another 80 years and look better doing it than any modern stove!!I highly recommend Buckeye Appliance and Antiques - I'm super happy with the restoration!!
