Makers of Two-Buck Chuck (d.b.a. Charles Shaw), I'm not sure how to feel about you. On one hand, you have brought wine to the masses at $2 a pop. What once was a highbrow drink is now an every man's beverage. Put down that Coors light, sir. Tonight, you'll be relaxing with a glass of California's finest red (will it be Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz? OH, THE CULTURE). Yes, tables all across America have been, for better or for worse, graced with a bottle of this alcoholic concoction. On the other hand, while I concede that the Shiraz is not half bad, your unethical labor practices are flat out despicable. The problem with overblown commercial wineries such as yourself and Gallo (another purveyor of cheap wine/gargling water) is that labor practices somehow fall off the radar. To know that someone might have died picking that Syrah grape in my wine in no way justifies the $2 price tag. I'll stick to buying my $6 varietals as the resident house wine and rest easy at night.

I am so VERY disappointed with Bronco.I applied for a job with them and they informed me of the application tests that they require, which I was fine with, Lifting, Background, Drugs, etc.I told them that I work as a mover so I'm accustomed to lifting a hundred pounds constantly and that I knew my background check would be clear.I told him that I did use cannabis from time to time, for medicinal reasons, but as far as drugs go, I've never used them. Then he informed me that they test for cannabis and that I could not continue my application process due to the cannabis usage. Medical cannabis had been legal in our state for 23 years.I am so disappointed with Bronco!!

Not even one star worthy. I purchased a $20 bottle of Pinot Gris that was absolutely nauseating.Left numerous messages with their quality control over the last 2 months with no reply. Have heard similar experiences from other wine lovers, even a Bronco supervisor admitted being aware of the problem. Beware wines from www.pinocellars.com aka Bronco Wine Co. They are pedaling putrid swill.

Beware of Bronco brand name Charles Shaw (2-buck chuck). I've found one reason their wines are so cheap. For the second time in the past 3 months, today I used a rocker wine opener on a Charles Shaw bottle and the bottle neck shattered. Oh, the glass particles around your kitchen...yeah, don't go barefooted. My recommendation: use a corkscrew on all Charles Shaw wines.

Unfortunately I was unable to taste the Almond JFJ Sparkling wine produced by Bronco Wine Co because when I tried to open the bottle the PLASTIC cork wouldn't turn at first and when it did shards of glass were in my hand, the towel, and on my floor. Some of the glass stayed in the cork. I was disappointed having chilled it and ready to taste the almond flavor. I wrote an email to Bronco and received a reply later that evening from Joey the owner telling me his manager would contact me. I also spend an hour or so taking pictures of the bottle and cork and sent them on. Bottom line is I have gone round and round with these people to just get a refund. This happened 10/22/11 it is 12/2/11 and I STILL don't have so much as a refund check. When they wanted the bottle back they ask for a receipt so I contacted the store I purchased the wine from and was told there was really no way to give another receipt and just bring the bottle to them and they would refund. I then got a call from the manager of the winery assuring me they would send out postage because the return box did not come with postage and she seemed so nice I assured her I would send it back. But would not pay the postage or drive 35 miles ow to take it to Fed Ex. The postage came via Fed Ex and I made him wait until I opened the package and gave him the return label and the bottle and cork in the box. That was the middle of NOV. I am so surprised by the incompetence and lack of concern over something that could have done physical harm to someone I really don't know what else to say.
