Brentwood Cafe

Great service and attention to detail. The lady that served us checked in on us a few times. Helped me get a side of bacon price lower by making my side waffle a bacon and waffle. She even cracked some jokes. This hole in the wall doesn't look like much but is larger than expected inside. They have some old Brentwood memorabilia photos in the hallway and cool old style signs by the tables. Food - I had the chicken fried steak. The gravy was thick and had lots of seasoning. The breading on the chicken was crispy and didn't fall apart with the gravy. I would get this again. The waffle was thick and fluffy. Wife got the, ribeye, not much seasoning when I took a few bites. Lots of fat. I wouldn't order it. I'll be back.

I guess you have to be from Brentwood to appreciate this place. It is an old run down building. I ordered a crab Benedict. The put sliced American cheese like the ones from the old plastic wrap in it and it ruined it. Tasted like melted plastic. I asked for extra sauce and none come. I server was too busy talking with all the locals and the recent high school game

Great food. The kids & I Had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were great. Hubby had an omelette with hash browns smothered in country gravy. Enough food to take home. Good was great and will definitely return. The only down side is they don't have flavored creamer for my coffee. Staff was great!!

We enjoyed our breakfast. Our wait staff was attentive to our needs. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere.

Update: 2/21/24Brentwood Cafe is a very good eatery in Brentwood. It is a very old school cafe/diner. The ambiance is 50-60-ish. Brentwood cafe has a lot of locals frequenting this establishment for breakfast and lunch. They do have a dinner menu, but the cafe closes early at 2:00pm. The service is very good. The staff always refills your beverage cups. We good to Brentwood Cafe for breakfast. Our breakfast arrived promptly. Italian Scramble - 4/5The Italian scramble consists of eggs, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green onions, red bell peppers, green onions, potatoes that were all scrambled together, and topped with Jack Cheese and sour cream. The Italian sausage was not as herby as it should have been but still was good. The potatoes were excellent. They were tender to the bite, not soft and mushy as I expected. I loved the this selection and will order it again in the future. I want to trey the other breakfast scrambles.Corned Beef Hash and eggs - 4/5Real corned beef, slightly seasoned, with perfectly fried over easy eggs. And excellent breakfast. I highly recommend giving Brentwood Cafe a go for breakfast or lunch.

The restaurant has new owners and it is great. The environment is family oriented, the staff are attentive, and the food is well prepared. I was pleased when I was offered a shot of tequila before the meal. It was a great Sunday lunch.

Always a great classic breakfast. Not a single complaint. The quality of the food is good and I have always had excellent customer service.

I recently visited Brentwood Café for the first time and appreciated the friendly service. The food had some interesting qualities. I tried the California Egg Benedict, which was a new experience for me with the addition of cheese. While I liked the concept, I found the hash browns a bit on the dry side, which made me wonder if they had been frozen at some point. We also ordered the pigs in a blanket; I felt that the pancake could have been freshly made, as it tasted like it might have been reheated earlier in the day. Overall, I think Brentwood Café has potential, and I would encourage them to work on their food preparation for an even better experience. I'm happy to support small businesses like this!

This is my special place to go for breakfast with my 13-year old grandson. He loves their waffles and pancakes. I enjoy eggs and hash browns. We feel welcomed every time and it is like dropping in and eating with family.

The service and community were exceptional. I truly experienced the vibrant atmosphere of a local breakfast cafe.
