Boys & Girls Clubs

Horrible running of a community service organization! Used to have free basketball clinics for the youth every Saturday but since Covid, they haven't had it. Was such a great program for the kids to get them off the streets but seems like they just wanted to pocket the Covid money and not be a safe haven for the kids. Highly disappointing! Need new management!

I've been sending my child here on and off for 2 years and I've been pleased with the public service provided by all employees and volunteers at this lemon hill center. This center is big and clean with an outdoor soccer play field (with indoor basketball court as well as an occasional self-defense classes taught by professionals) with a children's garden. There is a kitchen area that serves snacks and milk to its members. The administration office is located at this lemon hill branch.Membership for the beginning of each school year is $15 (during the summer session there is an additional $15 charge). Staff members seem to like their jobs as I see it in their faces when dealing with hundreds of kids running around inside this facility.Each non-profit boys & girls clubs branch have a different donor attached to its name to represent the donor. The lemon hill branch is also known as the Teichert clubhouse branch.Many thanks to Ms.Ann as well as Ms.Sarah for being helpful in answering all questions I have about the branch as well as keeping a positive attitude with a smile when the kids "go wild with structure" inside the facility. :-)The branch surrounding the community is not somewhere you want to be when it gets dark, but if I could: 6-stars to the boys and girls club of greater Sacramento!

This is a great place for kids after school and out of the streets. Lots of neighborhood children come here; even my younger brother at one point. Good, kind staff. When there's an issue w/ my child's behavior the staff presents it in a profession manner to the parent. Plus I'm the kind that wants to be informed on my child's behavior.I like that. Especially when his mother or I are not around.

Thank you guys for my childhood, i miss going to the computer lab playing Roblox with my friends and receiving gifts each Fridays,Christmas and so much more events every year, I appreciate you guys very much - Yuanbin Feng 2017-2021
