Great communication on there IG page. Answered my call to place an order by phone. That was super convenient. I'll circle back when I try the food!Just got my order and opened it at home. They forgot the shrimp with my steak plate. I recommend you check your order when you pick up. Food and portions are good. I would have given 5 stars but my husband was upset when he didn't get shrimp with his steak.

This place is SO GOOD! Huge portions packed with flavor!!! Will be coming back for another round. I would love to give it a 5 star because the food and customer service is phenomenal, however I ordered one chicken and shrimp dinner plate and a steak and chicken dinner plate, and got two steak and chicken plates instead. Yes, I know I should have double checked the order before I left that parking lot back to work. Yes, I have messaged the company themselves as well, but just want to note for customers to double check their orders before leaving!

THANK YOU TO CARLOS AND HIS TEAM! We hired Bonsai Hibachi Catering for my husband's 40th Birthday and our Baby Gender Reveal's Family Dinner! I highly recommend that you book them for your next intimate, at-home party/event. I love the convenience of how they come to your home, set up the entire production: including tables, chairs, plates and the grill - they even breakdown the event, all of which for a fee of $100 (set up/breakdown). While they require a minimum of 15 people, @ a price of $40 per person, you each get garlic fried rice, sautéed vegetables and a salad to start. For proteins, you will get, steak, shrimp and chicken - the huge plus about our booking is that we had left overs for almost 4 days after the event! Can't beat that!!! The food was absolutely delicious, juicy pieces of steak, chicken and shrimp. The fried rice?! So buttery and tasty! Everything was great. Not only do you get good food but you also get entertained by Chef Carlos, who was very personable and friendly. This was such a fun, interactive dinner that was enjoyed by my entire family! Will book again in the near future.

Excellent food!!! I love the chicken and shrimp with extra sauce and sirracha!! Food is hot and definitely plentiful!! The Chefs are awesome!! I definitely recommend them!

Had the pleasure to enjoy some of their delicious food with my girlfriend before we caught a movie. Definitely recommend stopping by there . I'll be coming back folks!

I'll start with how excited we were to book them for a 40th birthday dress up 80s style party. We wanted to book 6/22 and they were booked so they offered us 6/23 a Sunday. So we went ahead and changed the date and time to the party just to have Bonsai cater for us. The day before the party we were in contact over text everything was fine. Plan for ten to arrive 5:30 on 6/23 for a 6 pm party start and 7 dinner plans. 5:35 came and no one showed up we called and they acted like that had no idea about This party. Said they would call us back . Party stared at 6 and we get a picture saying the truck was broke down and they were not coming. How were not contacted immediately when they were coming not us reaching out. We got offered a party in the future! How does that work we had a party happening right then. I could have worked with the being late but to 100% cancel it's not good business/ they should have had their own plan B and a business not me finding a plan B . We did receive a deposit back but just know they aren't trustworthy or accountable.

Best food I've had from Northern California was visiting for work and decided to try this place out and I'm so glad I did! Their steak is cooked to perfection the shrimp is delectable and the servings are big! Would recommend 10/10

I absolutely love the food!!!! The rice is delicious, I get the dinner plate with steak and shrimp it comes with fried rice and vegetables. The sauce they put on the top is amazing. It's fairly priced and so so yummy!!!! I just wish they were available more often. They do catering also so they are not always available. But when your able to catch up with them IT'S VERY MUCH WORTH IT!!!!!! I'm addicted

Love this food truck. Straight heat & the best & only hibachi I've have in sac. Had another food truck that was cool in the city. But for the price, the portion size & quality of food is great. I only got chicken & veggies & with the lunch portion & it was still a lot for only $16. Can definitely share with somebody if you want. The yum yum sauce is pretty good but I would definitely get some extra on the side just because I love yum yum sauce. Can't wait to double back to try the steak & shrimp & lobster & the noodles too.

The food is absolutely amazing and delicious. Made to order, steak cooked to perfection. Different varieties of meat to choose from. Veggies, Rice and Noodles really make this meal pleasing. I recommend this to anyone that loves hibachi style cooking.
