Spanish varietals done well replete with a view that deserves unadulterated contemplation in every season, Bokish's bottles capture a bit of what is best in this area's wine time. This is not Napa -here terroir will be true to form and not the placebo bouquet of a tasting fee. The Terra Alta tasting room could be a corner of El Dorado as the grapes leaves erupt green and bright from branch in spring, then mature in the summer's sun, and, finally, become that reddish orange of fall before returning to bare branch in winter. Through these seasons you'll have no reservations enjoying what's poured with your reservation -Malbec, peppery and inky; Granachas, full of bright berry and nasturtium; Albarninos, crisply perfect as Sav Blanc's much hotter sister in a little chiffon dress.

Sunday impromptu wine tasting. Bokisch vineyards is a beautiful place set in the Lockeford rolling hills. I'm a novice wine taster so I wanted to check out their menu. I ended up choosing a bottle of their petit Verdot... what a wonderful wine! Very berry with a clean finish and no aftertaste (what I call bite). The wifey and I enjoyed their patio area dressed with pumpkins and harvest decorations. They actually have an award winning pumpkin from this season ! The service was knowledgeable, energetic and all around nice ! I will definitely be purchasing more of their wines as well as returning for the ambiance. Thanks Bokisch !

Hubby and I came with friends who had visited before. We were walk-ins but I think I would make a reservation next time if I came on my own. It was raining so we couldn't sit outside. They have a lovely set-up outdoors with tables and umbrellas which I'm sure is nice when the weather is more cooperative. Indoors, it was quite small!! There was a section reserved and then the bar (standing), and then about 4 chairs w/2 barrels for walk-ins. We stood for a bit at the bar and then snagged the chairs once those people left. The tasting $15, included 5 wines. I didn't find one that I liked, but they did offer us to revisit anything. The staff was friendly. I didn't see any food offerings, nor were we offered anything, which would've been nice to go w/the wine.

Ahh! I have no idea how I came across this yelp profile last friday, and that for the first time but it is a beautiful winery. It has great wines too, really!Terrific views, open space for the kids, high-end charcuterie boards to buy from them (instead of the typical costco cheese platter and some crackers) and they have Music in the Vineyard on Fridays. All the spots in the winery are beautiful and perfect so you can just pick anywhere to sit. Each spot has a fire pit, sunset views and they allow you to bring your own picnic.Like is there any other friendly and warm Winery out there? NO! This is it, they are amazing and this is a great place to be for hours with friends and family (and kids). I am definitely going back again, this year!

On our first trip to Lodi to explore wineries and we had the joy of visiting Bokisch for the 1st time. It was an absolute delight! We were greeted with a million dollar smile and open arms by Justin. He made our time here a memorable one with his friendly and knowledge of delicious Spanish wines. We got an extensive lesson (which we gladly welcomed) as we sipped luscious wines in a peaceful beautiful setting. Justin was outstanding in every way and genuine asset to your winery. He is a gem. We left with wine purchases and a promise to come back very soon. We Loved Our Time With You!

What an excellent winery! We came here for mother's day and we were surprised to find out how much space there was. They had a mother's day picnic event going on while we were there but they had it further out in the lawn area which opened up the main area for us - a great use of the space without having it be overcrowded that day. The staff was super friendly, accommodating, not stressed out despite the mothers day event going on, and they seemed to enjoy interacting with the customers. It was fairly hot the day we went but there was plenty of shade and umbrellas. The main lawn area has incredible views of the vineyard. Clean, indoor bathrooms! We didn't try the food but it seemed like they had a charcuterie selection to choose from. We will definitely be coming back!

This is a great vineyard run by Markus and Liz Bokisch. Markus was the first to bring Spanish grapes to California . All the wines are sustainable and good . Don't miss it if you visit Lodi
