Bishop Coffee

Angelica the owner of this establishment was very welcoming. It was my first time going in and the toffee flavored coffee was delicious and refreshing. I didn't know Ceres had such a great coffee shop. Whenever I'm in town and in need of coffee. I'll definitely stop by again!

I follow this little coffee shop on IG and have been wanting to try it out for sometime now, I am sure glad I finally did!I came across a group in Modesto called the Silent book club, where you sit and read in silence in a group, and I was excited to find out this was going to be at Bishop coffee!Its a little hole in the wall with the best coffee ive had in a long time!! The ambiance is so cute, the decorating are nice, they have a kids table with games and puzzles, they also have a few tables with a chess set, which was super nice as my family love playing chess. I believe the owner was behind the counter, she seemed to be a little overwhelmed as we were a pretty big group of about 20 of us. I think there was a miscommunication with the owner, on this many people showing up at once. I feel she handled it very well. I tried to interact a little with her but she was busy with orders, maybe next time!I will def be going back and if you are from this area, please do yourself a favor and check them out!!

Amazing!!!!!! I stopped in this morning right as they were trying to open up. The owner was super sweet and trying to rush to get me I. My day. She took the time to chat with me and help with a drink recommendation. The place was clean, the service was amazing and better than that the coffee was AWESOME!I had a quad shot iced lavender late. It was a little darker than my normal cup, but absolutely delicious! I want another one! I would say the roast they are currently using is what most people like. Way lighter than a Starbucks, but dark enough for those good dark chocolate flavors.Thank you for making my day better!

This place is simple and relaxing to visit. I had ordered a simple ice coffee and the attendance suggested their own blend of sweetener. It wasn't too long to make and it's got a much different taste than conventional stands via Starbucks. It's a great alternative and warm setting for casual drinkers.

Love that they had tons of sugar free syrup options! I really liked their cold brew. And they had WiFi!

Absolutely love this place ! I'm not big on caffeine so my usual is a Peach infused water, or an italian soda they offer a variety of flavors as well . it's always super clean & cozy when i go in to do homework .Deff my go to coffee shop & a weekly must have . the owner is super sweet, and always helps me with different suggestions on tea . 10/10 recommend ! Bishop will always be a fave !

Really good coffee, tried Lavender Haze Latte and it was delicious. Just enough sweetness and coffee wasn't bitter but strong enough.Didn't get a chance to take a picture. Hot chocolate was not sweet and was topped with a thick whipped cream which was very good. Cute little shop with tables that have games over them. Owner was nice but unfortunately doesn't say much nor does she greet you when you walk in. But it does sound like she knows her usual customers. In the time we spent in the shop, 2 more customers walked in and owner knew what they liked. So that's a plus!

Wanted to try coffee shop. Would rather support small business however closed. Yelp stated open. Had to go to Starbucks. Consider updating your hours here.

I have been in here about 5 or 6 times..You don't get greeted upon entering. The woman (owner I presume?) ALWAYS finishes what she is doing before she even looks or acknowledges you, so you wind up just standing there waiting. It's never a "hi how are you? How was your day?" It's literally just "what can I get you." I have gone in at different times of the day and every time it just feels less and less friendly. I always just feel like I am inconveniencing the woman behind the counter. Every single time. I have also gone a few times where their hours stated they should be open and it was not. I do enjoy the coffee, but the lack of customer service and inconsistent hours and lack of being open when stated they should be open has decided that I will no longer be returning. I really want to support local business in my community, but this place just doesn't have the warm charm.

Coffee is great. Never had any issue always thought the reviews were lies but indeed the owner is not too nice or welcoming. Won't be coming back
