Let's start with finding the place - it's tucked in the corner of the building and may seem like not much as it doesn't say big worm on the sign (I don't believe we saw it at first). Parking wasn't bad at all. Inside- loved the artwork they had in there. It is definitely a hole in the wall BUT it has character and I appreciate that! Food- portions were on the bigger side, meals were decently priced (for my Uno fries it was like $12 but the fries were huge!) I forgot how much my cousins burger was but overall it was not expensive. I feel like what you pay is well worth the amount you're getting. They have a variety of loaded fries, burgers, and wraps. They have doughnuts there too. Food was a 7.5/10, literally nothing to complain about. Staff- was very attentive and kind. They brought the food to the table and gave their honest recommendations on what they'd recommend since we were first timers. Honestly, I would go back. My overall experience was a 5/5 forsure. Can't wait to try a different item next time

Love love love their Ube donuts! I stopped by with the hubby while we were in the neighborhood and decided to give their breakfast burritos a try. Although their breakfast items fell a bit short of my expectations, their donuts did not disappoint. Highly recommend this mom n pop shop. I will be a frequent customer every time I'm in the area.

Where to go when you find yourself in Stockton with no idea what to eat? I stumbled on this lil mom n pop donut shop that also serves some HEFTY eats. Big Worms sure feeds you like family. Their portions are huge, comforting and so satisfying.The BS (Breakfast Sandwich) 5/5*TWO sausage patties, bacon, eggs, and gooey cheddar cheese oozing out between each layer?! These are what breakfast dreams are made of. The toasted slices of bread were barely enough to hold in all this goodness. And what is this I taste? Slight hints of maple to seal the deal off with that perfect salty sweetness.Usomich 5/5*This bánh mì was as loaded as your MAC-10! It came stuffed with proteins and the meat packed a punch of flavor. The pickled papaya and carrots were a different take on your typical bánh mì, but paired well with the lemongrass in the meat, adding a sweet crunchiness that's so refreshing and contrasting against the savoriness of the crumbly meats.Thai Tea Donut 5/5*Donuts here are notoriously BIG! The Thai Tea glaze was spot on and the donut was light and fluffy. Great with a cup of coffee.It was nice to see that the actual owner was there putting in all his passionate love into the food. In talking to him, we found out they've been there for over 7 years! You can tell they support the community with the walls filled with local schools pics, flyers and art. And that mini claw machine game in the corner already won 5 stars in my book. So cool and cute!I was surpirsed to find such a range of delicious cafe food in a donut shop. The donut case was enticing enough already, with their pretty decorated donuts for St. Patty's Day, and the pics on the walls definitely didn't help with my cravings for comfort food. Can't wait to come back to try their loaded Uso Fries and burgers. Support small business!

I was starving when we parked in front of Bigworm's the other day. They have a nearly perfect rating on Yelp and some of the food pics are mouthwatering. It was around noon and when we walked inside someone had to turn the lights on. I thought maybe they had just opened, but they had been open since 7am. That was odd, especially since it was lunchtime. The menu was overwhelming and the subtle differences between items made some hard to differentiate. I couldn't decide on anything so I took a moment to look around. Everything was dusty and appeared dirty. The displays were mostly empty and looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Paint was missing from the walls and floors and I could smell old oil...My hunger vanished. The person I was with ordered a sandwich and fries and I asked for a donut to hold me over until I could find another place to eat. The donut was one of the worst I have ever had. The dough was soft and I could taste the oil. The fries on were disgusting; oily and limp and even the dipping sauce they gave couldn't salvage them. That being said, I did taste "The Wormanator" (which looks nothing like the photo they have posted btw) and it was ok. I don't know what they hype is around this place but it definitely didn't live up to it.

We got usomich and it was great! I love the pickled veggies, and the jalapeño was actually spicy. Also got the burger and fries and it was a great lunch. We got a few donuts, but we came late so didn't get to try the ube (they apparently sell out quick!) Definitely going to stop by again when we come through Stockton. The guy who helped us was super nice and helped us with our order since it was our first time there too.

I had a workers favorite which was the breakfast sandwich on Texas toast which was really good. We also had some uso fries and some doughnuts we love this place it never disappoints. Service is fast and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The place is usually always empty and clean.

Brother Kenny made sure I was served halal and the best Donuts and customer service North Stockton.

My last review was five years ago, so I definitely needed to add an update.While the location makes it a tucked away, hidden gem, those who know, know. The donuts are fresh, the food is so flavorful and Kenny, the owner, is super friendly and welcoming. They're all about community here and you can tell they love sharing their food with everyone and bringing smiles to all their customers' faces. While the menu has changed over the years, they've have some consistent favorites and fun specials that are introduced. I recommend all of the donuts, you'll want to come early for the best variety but any of them will be delicious. I also recommend any of the burgers, the loaded fries and the Usorito if you're looking for something savory. You'll want to double check social media to see if they have specials or if hours change, but you really can't go wrong with anything here. There's limited space to dine in, but they do have some great art up. I usually grab some food to go and order extra so I'll have leftovers.

Bigworm's Bakery & Deli is a MUST if you're in the Stockton area! I had to visit this place when I found out my long-ago college crush came here, lol. Since I've been a SoCal girl for the last 2-ish decades, I had to get in touch with the owner/manager to see if they would have the mango filled donuts my eyes couldn't unsee from their IG! I was preparing for my trip north, and Kenny replied back to me, so we made arrangements for a day I could visit.I went in on a Friday morning and missed him by a hair, but Sam was at the counter and took good care of me. He was so polite and friendly. He let me know that I could come back the next day to catch Kenny, so I did just that! Kenny is so damn cool!! He let me sample his original creation... an UBE-cream cheese filled donut! That's right, people, I said ube... and you KNOW how I feel about ube, lol!! I have to say, I was skeptical and did not think I was gonna like it, but hot damn!!! I scarfed that entire puppy down without a drink!! HAHA!! It was really good and yes, I genuinely liked it! I asked about the menu, and he told me that I should definitely try his Hei-Hei Fries, so I took a "sample" to take back to my hotel. Damn, let me just say that stuff is (as Kenny said it best): straight FIRE!! I couldn't eat more than maybe 3 bites since I was stuffed after tasting the other goodies he had packed up for me. I ended up taking it on the plane with me and that stuff was STILL legit when I got home and reheated it in my air fryer, lol!You gotta try the mango filled donut, the guava filled donut, the Thai Tea donut, and the one with the cannoli filling!! I didn't even get to the Abomination Sandwich!! Bottom line: the flavor, the size, the price, it's all right! I told him I couldn't hang with spicy stuff, so he left the peppers out. Thanks, Kenny!! I am so glad I got a chance to come out and meet another small business owner. This place is amazing, and I hope the local love keeps it going strong.I need to visit again soon. Hopefully, my schedule will free up a bit because I need to try other things on the menu! He may not have the things I mentioned on the daily, so I would call and pre-order to make sure you secure your goods! The doughnuts were exquisite but the wormanator hit the spot with crunchy Texas toast and a well balanced sauce. The owner was extremely pleasant. Do not be put off by the location. The fries were packed with potato goodness.
