Berghold Vineyards & Winery

Love Love Love! Loved it so much we became members. We were looking for a new winery to try and Berghold just stuck out to me. I love the name. It sounded fancy lol. So off we went. First impression....WOW! Very beautiful estate. The tasting room is absolutely gorgeous with all the antiques. I'm a huge antique lover, so I was in awe from when we first walked in. The service is superb. The staff is always helpful and friendly when we visit. Their wines are devine. My favorite is their Crankcase! It's a very good wine. I highly recommend it as I highly recommend you visiting their winery and enjoying everything they have to offer.

Went a second time with friends and had a degrading experience. On friend has been a member for several years and after having wine at her home from this winery I was thinking of becoming a member. When we first arrived, an older gentleman questioned us about who was the member and who wasn't. He seemed a little hesitant about letting us sit in the fussy "member's only" which made us a little uncomfortable. The wine was great but we needed several more of the tiny glasses of wine to get the bad taste the man left in our mouths.One friend bought a bottle of Crankcase and I bought a bottle of the rose. As we were bringing rung up, I asked if I could have one of their ink pens that was in a box for people to have...."well, you're not a member but since you are with her then you can." Oh gee, thank you for letting me have one of your 10cent pens. Should I kiss your feet too?? We went to Oak Farm Vineyards and had a much better experience!!

The best Lodi winery so far. It's our first time trying out some wineries here. This place blew our mind. We came here Saturday around 1pm. $15 for 7 wines. It was busy at the bar area but service was attentive. They have the nicest and friendly lady staff ever. They are very quick and attentive to pour the wines. Generous pours too. They also sell some snacks like cheese in the fridge. We even got to try an extra wine. We could make waive the tasting fee if we bought a bottle. Plus it's 10% off if we got 6 bottles. So we left with a pack of 6 wines. The bottles were priced at good price too. The viognier was $29 and zin was $35. These were our favorites. The zin tasted very fruity and sweet but they said it had no sugar. They have both indoor and outdoor. We just stood at the bar for faster service.Viognier- very good smell and taste , fruity Rose: decent Sangiovese: decent , a little fruity Zinfandel: very, fruity, a little sweet , smooth Hypocrite: Merlot , dry , fruity , some tannins Capitalist: cab, some tannins, fruity, Crankcase: red blend, a little sweet, fruity Syrah viognier: some tannins, unique flavor and smell

Our last winery after two days.The best!!! Loved the beautiful outdoor tasting experience!Included was a frog croaking by the great waterfall pond that we were told has been there for years. Couldn't find it but entertaining!Leslie was our awesome hostess, wines great, atmosphere the best!Great shopping experience in addition to the great wines!!

We are wine club members and really enjoyed their new members only room! We purchased some meat and cheese from the refrigerator there which was essentially our lunch, and enjoyed a delicious wine pairing. Our favorite wine is the Crankcase! If you haven't tried their delicious toffee, make sure to get that, too! Yummmm!

This is a Winery not to be missed when you are a Lodi. Amazing interior and exterior you really feel like you're some exclusive French or Italian winery. There is an amazing wine club members room with stained glass windows. The staff were super attentive and friendly. We made friends with many of the ladies there. We liked it so much we became wine club members the same day

Very nice winery and surrounding vineyards. The personnel working there are professional, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. We went there on a birthday celebration get together with family. The staff was very accommodating and took us immediately to the club members private seating area as my son and his wife are winery club members. This room is very well appointed with stained glass windows, paintings and art displays. There is even a musical machine that has multiple instruments inside the glass case. It would occasionally play music. Our group was provided with 5 "flights" of their wines they currently offered. I should note there was a food truck in the parking lot and it was "Cousins " lobster truck for those in the know. They offered all types of lobster food items for sale. Although the food was not free it was reasonably priced and very good. All in all if you're looking for a great wine tasting and possibly purchasing some Berghold is a great place to be. We will definitely be returning for great wine and friends.

Great wine, beautiful ambience, very friendly service . We brought our two dogs and enjoyed wine tasting out on the patio. We viewed the beautiful antiques inside as well. Wonderful experience

Beautiful Staff, Beautiful Winery inside and out, And Spectacular Wines!!!! Need I say more? No! Go to Bergholds Winery in Amazing Lockeford CA right next to Lodi CA. The Winery is truly a Jewel!!! You will not be disappointed.

The Service and ambiance that we received was warming and inviting, the wines are fresh and very delicious. I highly recommend those place!!!
