I recently panned my in-laws 30th wedding anniversary and we decided to use BellaVista for its beautiful view of Stockton. May 18th was the date our event, we booked about 6 or 7 months out. From start to finish we had a play by play of how our event would be. Food, open bar and rooftop decor was discussed. About 2 months prior to the event The owner personally reached out to see if we would like to taste the food prior to the event, because we never had BellaVistas food we were inclined to try. RIMA GOT DOWN, the tasting was awesome, everything we tasted was great, it was a little difficult to decide on what we wanted, we wanted to stay to a 3 course meal. We did a garden salad, eggplant parmigiana, and chicken Rollino. For appetizers we did Charcuterie Platter , Cheese Platter and Meat Balls. (We had about 80 guests) Now fast forward to the week of the event. RAIN was all over the forecast. Rima assured us she could move the event inside no problem and still accommodate our decorations and seating ( we originally wanted a table long enough to fit all of our guests upstairs on the terrace) My mother in law who I love oh so much, was freaking out and refused to believe the party would work. With that being said Rima invited us to come back to the restaurant to plan for seating and decorations. My mother in law was happy and asked to come in at 9AM sharp to set up ( the party was at 5PM lol) Rima said she would make it happen. During set up Rima's staff was extremely helpful and pleasant they helped us from start to finish and we didn't even ask! Once everything was set up the restaurant was so beautiful and ready for a big party. Right at 5 guest started to show up, Rima had the Bar pour Prosecco for guests upon arrival, it was a nice touch. Issac her bartender was AWESOME, he accompanied all of our guest with great drinks and an a awesome attitude. During dinner rima and her staff made sure our entire party was served in a timely matter, and yes the chicken was just as juicy as it was during the tasting. I was extremely pleased with it all. Needless to say, this was a great experience and would recommend to go for it. If your considering BellaVistas Rima and her staff will accommodate your wishes and ensure you have a beautiful event, tell them what you want and they will make it happen.

Location is ghetto. Building is old and smelly. Went to the Gastronome Immersive event 2/15. Horrible. Paid $400 to sit with dogs at a dinner table. Would not recommend.

I do not recommend BellaVista Rooftop for any of your events. Last month, I helped my sister with my nephew's engagement party. Rema, the coordinator, was unprofessional, not communicative and did not lift any stress off of our shoulders. It took her weeks, if she replied at all. The day of the event, we went to help set up and the place was dirty. She said they still had to clean, but she knew the time we were coming because we had to schedule with her. Then when we arrived an hour before the event, things were still not cleaned or in place. If Rema was any foreshadowing of the service we would receive, the bartender Kristina was even worse. She had no customer service skills and was apparent she did not want to be there. Our guests tipped well, and we even purchased bottles and tipped. The next day, Rema had the nerve to text my sister that we didn't tip. We pulled out receipts and Venmos just from us and our close family, but the tip jars were full as well. Just completely unprofessional! Service overall was sub par, and Rema added stress to the overall process instead of alleviating it like planners should do. Do your research. Do not recommend this place, at all.

Wow where do I start?! I do NOT recommend booking this venue for your next event. Rima is so unprofessional. We booked our event 3 months prior it was impossible to get a hold of her. She told us to go set up at 9am. We had our florist lady, ballon garland lady, and all the linens for the tables. As we walked in the place was filthy! There were stains all over the concrete from that last party confetti was all over the venue. She said she would have it cleaned before our party that started at 5pm. Shouldn't it be done before we were told to go set up? How would we set up our nice linens when you still have to wash the floors? The venue didn't have any directions on how to get up on the rooftop. Where they told the guest to enter was locked. We got there at 4:30 and all the doors were locked the DJ was not able to set up. Our guest came through each and every way they could find. The workers were rude! I asked for a table and she said you can go grab it I don't want to get dirty there's flour all over the table go get a rag and you can clean it off. I was in my dress at this point and paid a lot of money for the venue and services. It was wrong to have asked me to do that on my own. The next day we got a text from Rima asking why we didn't tip the bartenders? It was so unprofessional for her to send that. Our whole party tipped the bartenders I had to send her a couple Venmos that we sent to them. Some didn't have cash on them so they Venmo the bartenders. Tips is optional and we also paid 20% on top of everything for their services. We also bought 4 bottles at $350 plus tax each and tipped on that also. One of the bartender was so rude Kristina Huges she did not want to be there and it showed. She made several rude comments to us and our guest. It's unfortunate that Rima doesn't have loyal workers if they are telling her they did not received any tips. They were also making up prices as the night went on. They were charging us for water even though that came with our package. Some guest got charged $3 and some got charged $5 for water which should have been provided with the amount of money we spent there. You don't really know what they are charging you for at the bar. Our guest bought their own drinks and bottles and our bill was still high. They don't show you proof of what is being charged. Also this was an engagement party. We had proposal boxes for the bridesmaid and groomsmen. There was a little wine cooler in the boxes one of the girls didn't know so she opened it. They charged us additional $200 for that also. Go find another venue with better communications and better services. This place lacked on both! You don't need the extra stress on your special day. Rima and the workers will stress you out.

We celebrated my In-laws 25th Anniversary at BellaVista Rooftop and Events. It was reasonably priced for an intimate (12 guests) dinner. The food was wonderful! The salmon was a crowd favorite! Rima (owner) was very easy to plan with and the waiter and waitress were helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed ourselves. Even though we did not get the sunset we had hoped for because of the weather, the lights at night made up for it!

This place is a 5 out 5 stars place in Stockton! It's a rooftop bar and dancing area! You can either take the stairs or elevator to get up to the rooftop! Once again it was a Thursday night for me and I was going to visit my friend I'm so glad he showed me this spot! It had a great dj playing some Motown hits! Everyone was dancing and having a good time. All the bartenders and security were super friendly and nice! I enjoyed my night there and would definitely be back! It's a beautiful spot to chill, dance and even watch the sunset! I would say this is Stockton's best spot! But be aware they do close a bit early they are done at 10 pm.

I was very excited to find a rooftop bar in Stockton, even if it's only open a few days a week, but this place really needs some work. The prices are laughable for their food and drinks. Chips and salsa for 5 bucks - you get tortilla chips out of a bag and Pace salsa from a jar (and not much of it). Tacos are 10 bucks, and while I can possibly see paying that much for some seriously well-executed tacos at a really nice place (still a stretch), these were not even close to as good as street tacos from any vendor in town. These $10 tacos were something that a 50 year old white lady from North Dakota who has never left the Midwest would make on family taco night. I would get it if they were making garbage bar food at garbage bar food prices, but this place is charging a premium that you won't even see if you go to San Francisco or Los Angeles. Don't get me started on their cocktails or watered down sangria. Until they dramatically lower their prices or raise the quality of their food and drinks (hire an actual chef, guys), I won't be going back.

Great food and very helpful workers that made my event a fun experience for everyone! Was able to work out a fair price with the boss so I definitely recommend going here if you'd like to throw a small event.

I highly recommend to NOT use this place for your next event. I had put a $500 deposit down for my graduation event that was suppose to be in May of 2020 but due to the pandemic, it did not happen. I was in contact with Rima in March of 2020 - 2 months before the event (since Covid happened in March 2020) and she stated once she received money she would refund me back my full deposit I had put down for my event. I have texts and emails of her saying she would give me back my full amount. Rima had enough time to give back for an event that was 2 months away. After months and months of trying to reach her for the deposit through text and emails, she stated in January of 2021 she just needed more time to get more money and to give her until May 2021. I was very patient and understood and waited for almost a year. Fast forward today, now Rima wants to state that she cannot give me back my deposit due to the contract stating it is non-refundable. No where in her contract does it state what happens if a world wide pandemic happens and if your event cannot happen due to a natural disaster. I understand this time is very hard time on all business owners, but she is such an unprofessional manager. And by reading all the bad reviews this business receives, it is clear that we can see management here needs some help. It is very sad to see someone ruin their reputation with bad miscommunication and treating people poorly. It is not even about the deposit, but how cruel people can be to those who did not get to have their event due to the pandemic. It should be only fair for business owners to refund what people deserve. But oh well, the business won't last anyways. Good luck Rima..
