Easy parking, decent walk paths, and a beautifully kept lake at this park!! What a marvelous find of yet another brilliant EG park!! This has become one of my three favorite parks now in eg. A great place for anybody to enjoy the outdoors, particularly in warmer weather. There is a breeze across the lake that can definitely be uncomfortable in winter time. A wonderful park for couples, people dating, dog walkers, bikers, and more!!

I wish they would install a webcam so I could how crowded the park is. It is just wonderful in the early morning when no one is around and I'm jogging through with my dog. Unfortunately, there are a LOT of soccer games and practices held in the park. The players and their families leave a lot of trash behind, even on the field. It makes it hard to keep my dog from looking for leftovers. I'm worried she's going to eat some chocolate. There are also a lot of picnickers that leave trash behind too. Fortunately, most people are very considerate and don't litter.

A unique medium sized beautiful park in the middle of a 20 - 30 year old peaceful neighborhood. If you live in Laguna West - likely you've got a smaller lot with less to take care of - no problem though there is enough community space that you can enjoy but not have to maintain. Given that the park is surrounded by the Laguna it makes it one of a kind. Add the (now mature) trees and grass and its very pleasant. Calm and well maintained. Easy to find a comfortable shady spot. Although not as crisp as it once was the neighborhood still has something special about it. From the park you can enjoy looking at the custom built homes as you go for a short walk. A quick mostly waterfront walk is from the park to Buckminster to West Lake Dr to W Laguna Ct. The other longer loop is: East Laguna Ct to East Lake Dr to Benedix. Trust me - either loop is better than a treadmill in some basement or gym.I love lawn and trees as long as I don't have to take care of them. Raking, mowing - IDK... I've got better things to do.

Very spacious park with plenty of shaded areas in the grass to have a picnic. Since I came here on the 4th of July in the afternoon, there seemed to be more people picnicking than there might usually be on any other given day, so be safe out there!

Bartholomew Park is a calm and serene little park located in the Elk Groove area. The park has a dock so you can walk along the water. Generally a very quiet park, great for taking a stroll to relax your mind, bathe in the sunlight, and just enjoy the silence. The scenery here is very simple yet beautiful, I highly enjoyed my stroll around here and I would recommend you pay it a visit only if just to unwind for a couple of minutes.

There are not that many parks around Sacramento and Elk Grove area that is quite like this one. It is a large park with ample of space for about five soccer teams to practice. What I like about this neighborhood park is that it is in the middle of a man-made lake. It has a long dock where you can walk by the lake, dip your feet into the water and watch the sunset. Perfect place to jog, walk your dog, bike and do your favorite afternoon activity. It is a very beautiful, quiet and peaceful place to retreat and replenish some state of peace and tranquility
