We enjoyed the Comedy-Licious event here. The property was beautiful. The wine selections were limited but MDW always has good bottle prices for their members. The Comedians were funny. The food served by the food trucks were ok. Nothing to brag about. It was a bit slow to have so many guest ordering from just two trucks. Some pre-pack snacks or fruits available to go with the wines would be awesome for those who don't want anything from the food trucks. The chairs were hard, small and uncomfortable for sitting for long periods. There were also a lot of mosquitoes. The first hour was really hot and humid. I hope they add some mist to the property to make it more comfortable for the guests during those hot summer nights. Overall was a good value and Good experience. follow me on IG: @Only1ChristineLu

Bare Ranch in my opinion is perfect on so many levels. The vineyard lined property is gorgeous, and perfectly kept. The craftsman style house, great lawn/tent and fountain are all an idealic setting to celebrate a wedding. After looking at several wineries in Lodi for our ceremony and reception, it became obvious to my fiance and I that Bare Ranch was the total package. Beautiful setting and very reasonably priced... Score! Because Micheal David Winery owns the property, Michael David wines are served at weddings - double score! The whole process in booking our Spring 2012 wedding has been so easy and enjoyable. Lori has been a joy to work with and has given me as a bride something priceless... peace of mind! Any brides considering a vineyard wedding should see this place first hand, photos do not do it justice!

We had our wedding here in September and we loved every minute of it. Not only are the grounds beautiful, Lori and Jen are absolutely amazing and fun to work with. We wanted to use the long driveway for the dinner service so we could have one long table and they were more than accommodating even though it was a new configuration. Everything went off without a hitch and many of our guests commented on the beautiful setting. We loved that so much was included in the venue fee (we didn't have to bring in extra restrooms or a catering kitchen - the site was really built for events!). We would give this place ten stars if we could!

9/13/11: Considered this establishment as a possible venue for our wedding. Out of all of the wineries in Lodi, this one caught my eye. Bare Ranch is easy to get to and is a very beautiful place. Well maintained and spacious. There is a gorgeous pool area for cocktail hour and white tent for reception is included. Don't need to decorate much cause this place is naturally smashing. Met with the event coordinator, Lori, and she is a doll. Love the fact that they only do ONE wedding a day (that's a big deal when there are SO many details involved.) We are really drawn to this place.. BUT this is the FIRST venue we checked out, still shopping around......

Laurie Phillips IS as good as it gets! We held a memorial service with lunch for 200+ people on the lovely Bare Ranch grounds. I'm amazed to be saying this, but nothing went wrong! Laurie is organized and helpful AND gracious. She averted any problems before they arose. She somehow made a day that could have been very difficult a day to remember with a smile. If there were more stars than 5 stars to award, I'd give the maximum.

I don't even know where to start with this review...Bar Ranch- venue site: TEN STARSLori- venue coordinator- TEN STARS (or a million) My sister just had her wedding there and, as Matron of Honor, I was heavily involved in the planning (as well as knowing what it's like to plan a wedding and knowing a good venue). This place has everything you could even dream of having at your wedding venue. From the immaculate driveway entrance to the gorgeous grounds for both ceremony and reception- this setting created the perfect backdrop for such a memorable day. Every single aspect of the wedding day flowed flawlessly into the next and that definitely wouldn't have happened with out the amazingly professional and talented coordinator, Lori. Wow, you ask her to do one thing and she gets it done 10x better then you expected or hoped for. We did not encounter a single hiccup the ENTIRE day. Her recommendations, referrals, and ideas made my sister's wedding perfect. I cannot emphasize enough how perfect Bare Ranch is and how highly I will recommend it as a wedding venue to anyone "shopping" around. You will get far more then what you pay for!

Thank you Lori & everyone at Bare Ranch! My wedding this weekend was more than my husband and I could have ever dreamed. If there was a hiccup, I never knew. Lori was amazing to work with start to finish. She is a brides dream & handles whatever you need her too flawlessly. This is an amazing wedding venue if you are looking for a gorgeous vineyard background. I am so happy we found bare ranch and our guests loved it so much. Thanks for everything Lori =) Honestly can't say enough great things!

We were there for an organized bike ride. Start and finish there. Plenty of shade Great place for a party. Beautiful grounds. I could see a beautiful wedding there.

The Bare Ranch staff were terrific. Their experience and attention to detail combined with the gorgeous setting to make a wonderful and memorable wedding event.

Lori and the rest of Bare Ranch are incredible. On extremely short notice, they were able to accommodate a large group (100-150 people). Their careful attention to detail made for a beautiful event and all the guests raved at about the wonderful setting. I cannot thank Lori, the Michael David Winery family and staff enough.
