Food Truck #11Spotted this Mediterranean food truck and decided we wanted to give this a try. Boyfriend got the chicken kabob plate and I got the teka (beef) kabob plate. Both dishes were good. Each plate is served with rice, salad and Afghan bread. The chutney sauce had a nice kick and went well with everything. Overall, great food and service was nice and friendly. Will be coming back again.

We loved the good here - we got a bowl and a wrap and they were both super good and juicy. The sauces were great too.

Tried their beef and chicken wraps today, and they are really good! N.ice charred taste from the grill, ingredients were fresh, the meat was perfectly seasoned and not salty. The wrap was nice and thin, the portion was good and the price was good for what you get. Our new go-to for our wrap fix.

10/10 for their service & quality of food! The grilled lamb chops went CRAZY. Located on the far left of the lot. Thank you Baba Jan for the wonderful meal.

The food was AMAZING! It had so much flavor and you can taste every bit of the flavor! The service was amazing. You get that awesome afghan hospitality! Will 100% return for more and will recommend it to friends and family!

Some of the best Afghan food i've had. So happy this spot has came to the Lathrop food plaza. I ordered the steak and chicken kebab plate and the meat was so tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My mom got the lamb chops and said it was the best lamb chops she's ever had. Can't wait to try the rest of the items on their menu, especially the halal cart style chicken bowl. The customer service was great as well, they allowed us to sample their mantu, which are a sort of dumpling and it was amazing! This is definitely one of my go to spots from now on.

I can't leave a photo because we've already eaten everything and cleaned our plates. Got the lamp kabob plate, and it was insanely delicious. I will definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Baba Jan's was to die for! Not only was the food amazing but the service was even better! The owners were super friendly. They even threw in a sample of their cucumber yogurt dip which was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back again soon.

Tried this spot first time today definitely recommend these lamb chops were super juicy and fresh well worth the price, guy at the register was dope we chatted it up for a bit and I'm real happy to have given my business to such kind people. Will definitely be back with fam. Also extraaaa bonus points for cleanliness I hate when my food is handled sloppy

Without a doubt, this is by far the finest Afghan cuisine I've experienced in the 209 area. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food truck's location is excellent! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the lamb chops and chicken kabob, but the Chapli Kabob plate was my favorite, the flavors are unmatched. This chapli kabob is hands down the best I've ever had. It surpasses the one served at De Afghanan by far, it's thicker and incredibly tender when you take a bite. This place offers true, authentic Afghan cuisine that you won't find anywhere else. If you're craving quality food, this is the place to visit, it deserves more than 5 stars!
