I like the halal meat they sell and the restaurant menu. The serving size is truly huge and great taste.

The best Kababs and Shinwari Karahi around. The staff and owner is very friendly and welcoming.

I tried their kabobs and other dishes. The food is great and worth visiting this place. Good part is they are open all days and it helped me during times when i need to eat and do get much options. I recommend this place if you are one of the person who like kabobs.

My husband & I stopped by for dinner. Awesome dinners with generous, VERY generous portions. I had butter chicken curry that was the best I have ever had (& I took 1/2 home) & my husband had 3 Combo Plate which was HUGE! So very tasty! We will definitely return soon!

So for people expecting a traditional grocery store like Vons or similar this is not your place... ya this place could be more organized but they have so many traditional ingredients that Vons or other American groceries dont. So if you're looking to support local businesses and willing to put up with some mess and not your traditional customer service then this is the place for you.... Food (bolanee ghandanaa) was excellent i enjoyed low saltiness i know we like our food salty but the chutney is a good addition. thank you, this will be my place to visit every time im traveling up north!!!

I went to Azhar market and restaurant one of the best restaurant and market in Tracy, excellent service, very polite stuff and provide the best fresh kabobs and foods. The new owner with his stuff deserves more than 5 star. I highly recommend this market and restaurant. Thank for serving a delicious kabob.

The bolani was outstanding however the chicken kabob was totally raw inside and seasoned well. The rice was also half cooked. The most important was the general condition of the restaurant that was terrible. It is a small area but good for at least four tables. But it's disorganized and very dirty. My husband and I were hungry and wanted to set there and eat but we couldn't tolerate the to set on dust full table in an disorganized place and eat. We rather took out food and eat in our car. We ate bolani but discard the chicken kebab. I hope they think about these points because their price is the same as the high standard Afghan restaurants.

Idrees (the new owner as of summer 2024) is an amazing host. Very personalized service but what impressed me the most is the consistent quality of food. We usually go for Karhahi, fresh garlic / plain naans, Chapli, and Kebab skewers. Nothing beats oven fresh taste from this restaurant. Not a fancy please to sit but a cost effective and most certainly one of the best authentic Afghan / Pakistani food taste.
