Arden Acres Extended Stay & Executive Suite Cottages

Stayed here for a Melanie Martinez concert. Didn't realize the Honda Center theater is literally across the street so it was perfect to stay here. Room was comfy and roomy. I had no complaints with noise. Used the pool and it was decent for a hotel pool not big but still enjoyed. Breakfast is slight better than most continental breakfast. Check in and out was super easy and fast. I didnt take any pics besides the lobby, thought I had but only found these two‍

Gated property which was good. The one bedroom units, from the outside look clean and well kept. We stayed in a "2 bedroom cottage ". Our unit looked to be the most run down from outside and was not very well maintained inside. Paint patches on several walls, holes in the interior door, the front door knob was very loose and the door itself was in need of repair. And unfortunately stained sheets UGH- not a good feeling at all. Definitely not worth the nightly rate on the 2 bedroom- again most of the other units from the outside looked well maintained but I didn't see the inside. We had no heat our first night but at least when I called the office they did bring room heaters as a temporary solution and got the heater fixed that same day. Vicky was very pleasant to deal with.I would personally not recommend this property.

Do not stay here! It is nothing like the pictures online and if you choose to check in on your own after 5pm do NOT expect any service...it's written in their contract I guess. I was a single female staying for work and arrived at 9:30 to a dirty hotel room that had not been cleaned and had to get another hotel at 11:30 at night after standing outside of the trailer / cottage park trying to get a hold of someone and a new booking. Upon saying I did not want a free room, I was told my attitude was the problem.

Ok so this is an extended stay as opposed to a hotel or motel. There is no sheets or towels for a week and they do not replace soaps or take out the trash once you're here. But the space itself is well sealed to keep cool right now,(109 degrees today), and save money by cooking your own food. No real tv to speak of or pool so just a place to sleep.

So I have never been to Sacramento. I was asked to come here for a work trip on April 21st. Of course the company I worked for had booked this place.The lady had called me and left a message with the gate code. She seem nice over the voicemail.So driving to the place, I didn't have any expectations but I notice lots of homeless--I suppose that's a major problem in Sacramento. So we said okay, we will give the place a chance. Driving in we saw the "cottages". Which, to me look like a bunch of large tuff sheds. Our "cottages" were at the end. It was pretty dark out so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into. I went into my unlocked tuff shed and read the note the sweet lady left that had "welcome" and a key attached to it. my first initial thought was "awww, the place is cute!" Well that all changed 10 minutes later. This place sure has a lot of windows which made me feel a bit uncomfortable so I began to close the blinds. Well, the door blind was missing a slant. It was right at eye level---I called my boyfriend and told him about how uncomfortable I feel at this place. And I will be staying there for a week! It is suppose to feel like home!I proceeded to the bedroom and placed my suitcase against the wall---unzipping WHEN something caught the attention of my curious eyes! What looked like a spider or a baby cockroach?!!! I proceeded closer to it and took a picture. At the same as I was SQUEALING, I was looking to see if there's any napkins near by so I can grab it before it moves out of sight--if it's alive or grab it if it's dead. I went to get the paper towel that was near by, grabbed the bug and NOTICED THE LEGS WERE WAVING!!! I freaked out and flushed it down the toilet with the napkin! That thing was alive!!! I began to itch all over my body and head. I sent the picture to my boyfriend and he told me "that is a tick! Get out of there!" He also googled tick photos and sent me the link. He later told me to check the beds to see if there's any bed bugs!I didn't see any bed bugs but there were stains on the sheet, pubic hair and long blonde hair. I am a brunette. Already grossed out and tired as heck, I sure as hell did not know what to do. I called my co-worker to ask how her place is and she said her place is fine. I told her I'm uncomfortable and then sent her the tick photo. I can't sleep there. I went over to her tuff shed. I even agree to sleep on her couch for the night. We called the lady but of course, she was not available. Called her other number, left a message. She didn't return my call. So I called my boss and told her I can't sleep here. Even sent her a photo of the tick. We got our stuff, sat in the car and began to look for another hotel! It was close to midnight when we finally checked into a clean decent hotel. And I had to get up at 3:45 am to get ready to be at work by 5am in a few hours. I was dead.Anyway the idea of the place is great but they seriously need to keep up with it! I would not stay here ever!

I found this place through Airbnb and it is NOTHING like the pictures they have. I wish I would of taken pictures but I just wasn't happy at the time. Airbnb has this place as "Serene cottage for the perfect get-away"This place was at a RV trailer park. As soon as my husband and I drove in we knew we weren't gonna stay. We thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and look inside and no. Although the lady in charge, Vickie, was very nice about me wanting to cancel the reservation and was fine with my refund, this just wasn't the place. We drove 6 hours to be inconvenienced by this lack of honesty. We looked them up on Google maps and it does say they are a trailer park. Which is fine if some people prefer that but it wasn't listed as that nor looked anything like their pictures on Airbnb.

I liked it the Roseville Hotel extended stay have to and how they were able to give me clean towels and wash clothes amenities for the kitchen I did not have a good review at the one in Roseville and I wish to speak about that one they really said false things about me and I'm never a person that would ever hurt anyone or tell anyone things I was there over my apartment having molds on my walls in my bathroom and they made a statement that I had threatened them which I did not the wonder Roseville I simply said I had diabedies Okay stay in the lobby it on my room is ready she said no and it was up to maybe three or more hours that I we have the way and that was my only way there I said if I don't get a room and I have to wait that long I'm afraid I might die you know just the fact of standing out there for several hours before your room is took in care of there was no threats who was just saying how much I need a room and standing outside for several hours they hanged up on my guess that was trying to get directions to the hotel and said that they were intoxicated which they were not just trying to get directions to their hotel

I Absolutely LOVE This Little Cottage! Soo Adorably Quaint! It's Like A Home Away From Home! It Has EVERYTHING You Could Possibly Need For Your Stay, Every Time I Opened A Cabinet I Was Soo Happily Surprised It Seriously Offers ALL You Need From The Coffee Pot and Filters, Cream & Sugar To the Dish Soap and Draining Rack! Two Nice TV's One In Bedroom One In Living Room YES I Said Living Room! This Place Has It All and You Can Tell How Much This Property Is Loved And Taken Care Of! I Had To Tell The Lady Vicki How Much I Loved Our Cozy Lil' Cottage! Customer Service Was Awesome I Felt SOO Welcomed With A Hug, I'm A Huge Hugger lol! I Didn't Want To Leave and Would Have Extended My Stay Had It Not Been For The Return Of My Rental Car...This IS My New Home Away From Home In Sacramento and I Will NEVER Stay At A Hotel Again!

Fire works, blood in the shower, Do not stay here!!! Bad part of town, nice host though.

September 2020:I was sent to Sac on a business trip.. My co worker (also just got promoted to my NEW boss) & I wanted to find a fun place to stay at, and have our own rooms. We came across this online. I immediately checked Yelp reviews, and I saw there were some issues with reserving spots here at Arden Acres... I took a chance. I texted my boss, my company- saying I found this place & sent them info. Less than 48 hours before take off, I get a voicemail. "Hi, we just wanted to see if you needed two rooms? Just checking. Thanks!"I reserved 2 rooms so of course I needed it. Not sure what happened ...I called back later.. turns out... they told me they had me down for only a cottage with 1 room. On my email, it states TWO bedrooms (attached payment details & room details). TWO. I said I had my co worker... also my new boss... and I had to get 2 rooms. We did not want to share. Pretty much.. this place didn't work out. I didn't get an "I'm sorry" or "that was our mistake." Really sucks. I was really looking forward to coming here. I should've listened to previous people on here... they had reservation errors !! :/ And I did too...
