Apolinar Sangalang Park

Moved here about 6 months ago from Stockton. This park is beautiful and huge. Lots of open space for field activities, tennis court, kids play area, baseball field, and they even have gym equipment. My house is just right around the corner so I will now do my daily cardio here since they have nice pathways. Great job Lathrop!

Excellent park with a splash pad, playground, bathrooms, and grassy field. This park checks all the boxes for us! We brought a blanket and had a nice little picnic on the grassy field. Played on the playground equipment and then at the splash pad. Bathrooms are definitely a necessity when you have littles and it is a huge disappointment when a park doesn't have them. Glad we found this gem! Side note: there was a family who came and set up a snack stand! Had we not already brought lunch, that would have been nice! I heard other parents taking about how the family comes often and has very reasonable prices for pre-packaged snacks and drinks!

The playground is well kept there is street parking only and large grass area. The park is in the middle of a residential area and behind a school.
