Apna Bazaar Indian Sweets and Spices

I will have to say the food is one of the worst I have had ever had. Ordered butter chicken, did not look or taste like butter chicken had a burnt taste coming from it. Naan was super hard and most likely a day or 2 old. It took me 5 mins to get home and the food was already cold. IF I WAS YOU I WOULD TAKE YOU BUSINESS ELES WHERE!!!

Poor customer service. Owner is very rude. I went there few times with open mind hoping that I would get a better service next time but I was disappointed every time. Her clothing and jewelry collection is outdated. She gets irritated when you ask her to show the clothes and jewelry and pressures you to buy. I bought some clothing from her and when I took home I found them ripped and she wouldn't accept a return. Even though her clothing and jewelry items are in poor condition she will not give you a discount. Horrible!

Most horrible customer service, went there to return Indian cookies which didn't taste as it does usually and the lady was extremely rude and was like "it's not bought from here" even tho we showed her the receipt, then she goes "oh I don't know how old that is" then we showed her it's last week July 18 purchase. Then she goes "sorry that's not our policy" lol anyways that's how cheap customer services get these stores closed. Store highly not recommended rather go to the one on el dorado by I5.

my go to place for Indian/Pakistani groceries, they usually always have fresh veggies that you can't find at other places. I also tried their somosa and it was delicious. It was different from the generic filling most places have, different set of spices but in a good way. I was going to take the pre made ones but they insisted on making me fresh ones and it took no time to get them fried to order. I'm defiantly checking out their take out menu and ordering soon!

Awesome food and a substantial inventory. Everything you need you will find it here. Family owned and operated, the best people and best food. Good hearted folks, they will treat everyone like family. Ambiance is stellar, they have recently renovated the entire building.

They have reasonable prices compared to other Indian and Pakistani grocery Stores in Stockton. They are courteous too.

I live in Lodi but drive to Apna Bazaar for the diverse selection of sweets, produce, and grocery items. I see a few reviews that mention poor customer service but I highly disagree. I was greeted immediately at Apna Bazaar and I have never been treated unkindly. I ask a lot of questions about spices (learning how to cook different Indian dishes), suits (styles, jewelry, etc), and sweets. I go in blindly because I love Indian food and culture but I am still learning many things. But I always leave Apna Bazaar feeling like a customer that is appreciated. Now that I am a familiar face to the business, I am greeted by name. I have been to a lot of Indian/Punjabi stores and I've learned that if I want the BEST selection, quality, and customer service, I go to Apna Bazaar. I highly recommend the following items to anyone that is going to the store for the first time: - Lays Sour Cream and Onion chips from India. I'm not sure why, but they taste way better than the Lays we have here! - Sweets: barfi [barf-eee] (DON'T let the name ruin it for you, it's so delicious), and jalebi [juh-lebb-eeee]. Be sure to ask if the Jalebi is fresh - you don't want to get jalebi if it has been there beyond 2 days. - Masala Noodles! It's like a cup of top ramen but with masala spices. So good! - Ghee [g-eeeee]. It's clarified butter and it's delicious. - Mango frooti drink. Trust me.- Frozen wraps. My boyfriend swears by these! There are many flavors including a chana masala wrap and a paneer tikka wrap. Visit Apna Bazaar and tell them Catalina sent you! You won't be disappointed.

Most of the items at this store are expired, like way beyond their expiration date. It was harrowing to see so many food items go to waste. We confronted the lady about it and she said not to worry as the expiration date doesn't really matter. I am not shopping here anymore.

I love this place, wonderful service and the prices are just right. Can't go wrong visiting here, they have everything you are looking for and need.
