Angels Camp Rv & Camping Resort

Went here for a quick weekend trip and really enjoyed ourselves. This is a boutique camping RV place. There's lots of really close together so noise travels pretty fast. We learn the hard way when we were making too much noise because we were so excited to see each other and had some complaints from one of our neighbors. This place is very clean and comes with almost everything you need. Also the staff is pretty nice, and make sure you had what you needed or was able to help you get what you needed. There's a nice pool but it is not heated so just beware. We went when it was pretty warm, but that pool was so cold yet it still felt refreshing. We stayed in the premium Lodge that has a microwave and college size freezer fridge raider situation. There's a coffee maker in there but everything else you will need to bring yourself. There is one full service lodge that is on the ground however, that is located closer to the RV part and there's literally only one of those, so they book up pretty fast. There is a common outdoor kitchen area that has Stove to cook from however, there was one party there while we were there that it was basically camped out there the entire time. We could probably have gone over there and made meals, but it was a bit awkward because they literally were taking up all the space.We enjoyed ourselves and we like that we could all of our food outside and everything was so close together. We really love that the kids could just go and play at the playground and it was super close. Everything is just very close to each other. It was a really wonderful weekend and also this place doesn't seem to have any insect or bugs. Even though they mentioned that it was tarantula mating season when we came, we didn't see any tarantulas or any bugs in the Cabins, which is a good thing cause I'm terrified of tarantulas.I definitely would come back and looking forward to our next trip here.

From the moment we arrived...just wonderful! Thank you to the nice young lady who works the front desk at Friday check-in's! Ive worked in hospitality for over 20 years and you were awesome! I'd hire you in a heartbeat! I am terrible with names and she remembered mine and my son's name from their very beginning! Great customer service! The grounds are clean, well landscaped and our site was shady and quiet with awesome views. The pool and playground were a plus after a warm day and the store was well stocked. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you again! What a nice place to stay! So glad we found this gem!

Great pull through spaces all the hook ups work perfectly and the folks that run the place are very friendly. There is a beautiful pond and great trails to walk on. Love this place.

Good value for the money. Super freidly, helpful staff, quiet campground right off the highway, easy to get to neighboring towns. Nothing fancy but some trees for shade. Small pool, very family friendly place. Good value for the money. Would definitely go back

Great RV park for camping/glamping. The area has ample space and a pool and playground for kids. The staff was beyond helpful and helped us pick a good spot with shade during the summer. It felt safe and I would recommend to other families.

It's been a few years since we were here and it is still an awesome place to camp and get away from the hustle and bustle at home. I can't believe Dennis and spouse are still here. Just as nice. As they were years ago. Safe travels you two when you leave. We did use the pool this time and it was refreshing. Thanks again for an awesome time. We will be back!!

Great family owned facility with clean and well groomed spots and many extras. The location is near so much to explore or just stay at camp! I was here with a group and management was very accommodating with meeting space. Cabins and sites and pool and fire pits and laundry and showers and clean facilities. We will be back!!

Back for another January! Same awesome staff and accommodations as in the past. That says something when year after year you can expect the same clean space, friendly faces and inviting accommodations. My boys and I love staying here and then head up to the Sno-parks and Bear Valley Ski area with an hour's drive. This year you can find snow MUCH sooner but always love the can camp just below the snow.Due to heavy snow and hwy 4 road closure the previous weekend, we postponed and appreciated the info about the area (including a tornado miles away, but close enough to know the weather was not great) when I called to check in..Another great time here and keep wanting to come back in the summer so close to Gold Country and Lake Alpine but usually get help up with baseball and other summer plans.. we do hope to try a summer trip at this great RV park!

We just recently stayed 4 nights in our travel trailer (2 adults and 2 children) and would definitely come here again. It's quiet, peaceful, CLEAN & SAFE! Great location for coming and going with sight seeing nearby. The staff was kind and very helpful. Literally across the street from New Melones for people who want to camp there but want hookups that New Melones doesn't offer. There was plenty of room for our boat & second vehicle at our pull through space. Thank you!

Easy, friendly check-in. Great dog runs. Quiet at night. Really enjoyed camping here. Will definitely be back.
