Grandkids had a blast at this park today!
Largely grass area with stage
Drug bag found in the park where kids play. It still had a white powder inside. Disgusting.

Andrews Park is located on Downtown Vacaville, which one would consider the epicenter. This is the park that holds many events: 4th of July fireworks, Farmers market, Summer concerts, etc. I came by today, second day straight to take a walk and enjoy some sunlight. NorCal has been getting pounded with rain for a week straight. I decided to skip the gym and go outside. Andrews Park is on a hill, so, you have the chance to walk at an incline to get your heart up. Which I love! There's a playground, public bathrooms (enter at your own risk), a flowing creek, benches, and a map of the "fitness trail" to follow around the park for exercise.

Black widows infest so much of this park. Wanted a fun time with the kids and spent the time freaked out that something will happen. The tot lot seemed less infested so we opted for there Safety is a concern and definitely needs immediate remedy

Big beautiful park that includes a much needed public restroom. Thanks for that. The 18 acre part has a large playground that looks quite awesome. Picnic shelters will grills and electrical outlets and an open air stage. The park also has a nice walkable trail along the Ulatis Creek that has some captions and reading so the kids have something to do while the slower adults catch up![Review 17577 overall - 373 in California - 1095 of 2022.]

Great place to relax and hangout during COVID. Plenty of space on the grass to host a picnic, area of trees to setup a slack line, and playground for kids. There are picnic tables scattered around and the park is clean. There's a tiny parking lot located on side but it's better to just park downtown and walk in.

This park is one of our favorites! Great for kids and dogs. Conveniently located downtown by the library and so many eateries. Nice walking path, lots of shade. There is also a bathroom with running water that is stocked with hand soap and paper towels. There is a lovely picnic area with several tables that would make this park great for a party. This park always has so many great events going on here. Fiesta days, fireworks, creek walk, food truck mania, Easter egg hunt, farmers market, movies in the park and so much more. My one fear in the park is that with all the wood on the playground it is an easy place for a little to hide and not be seen. When it gets busy it and be a little nerve racking. But from a kids perspective it is an amazing hide and seek park. The one suggestion I would make would be to add doggie bags around the park. We did see some feces as we walked along today.

I LOVE THIS PARK! Although they currently have a COVID homeless shelter right next door currently in the community house, they are all nice people. My 18-month old loves having his own little area not in the same area as big kids. That way he can explore on his own and not be worried about being trampled over because we know how kids can be when all that energy is being released! They also have ADA functions at this park which is great! Also the trails around the park make awesome areas for picnics!

Good variety of play equipment but al of the surfaces are extremely slippery. Our 3 year older slipped on the structure foundation and fell right in her back. Even the sawdust base is slippery. It was bad for all of our show types as well. Nice play ground, just take it slow.

Andrew park is in the city of Vacaville California and is the place to be on Friday nights. This 17 acre park is home to the 16th annual Creekwalk Concert Series which kicked off Friday June 5th 2015 and runs to August 7th 2015. It also hosts many other events during the year such as their farmers market which is held every Saturday from May 2nd 2015 - October 10th 2015 from 8am-12 noon. Blues festival is also a very popular event which is held on June 26th, 27th and 28th 2015. This is only a fraction of events whichthis park hosts throughout the year. The city of Vacaville sponsors the weekly concerts so no alcohol is allowed to be brought in. A $2 dollar entrance fee per person is collected as you enter the park and your bags are checked for any kind of alcohol. Beer is sold on the premises as well as food. If you did not bring your own food there are numerous food venders trying to entice you to purchase their items from hot dogs to Mexican tacos. There are also many local restaurants nearby to purchase food from also. Now let me get back to the park, it's 17 acres of grassy rolling hills. On top of the hill is a large children playground consisting of swings, slides, and numerous climbing structures. There is also a strolling path which takes you on a scenic walk along the Ulatis Creek. The stage which the band performs is quite large and the dancing area is enormous!Growing up in the 70's and 80's we all have a special place in our hearts for the music we loved growing up with and for me it was the Bee Gees. Today's band was called CheeseBalls, a favorite Bay Area band that plays a lot of 70's to 80's disco hits, just up my alley! I was in disco heaven! My Lucky Day!

This playground was great for our pit stop. It had a little of everything for all the kids. There was also some shaded parts of the playground so we weren't totally under the sun. Some of the play structures had some wear and tear, but the kids didn't seem to mind. When we were leaving they were setting up for food trucks, so i guess in the evenings, it's a good place to be.

Found this park on google when we were stuck in traffic with a crying 18 month old on a very hot day. The park has a lot of shade trees and is pretty big with a variety of playground equipment, lawn and a few hills. It did the trick- my granddaughter loved it!
