In response:Wow! Did you even read my review? I mentioned her make up ONCE. She is a performer and she was a MESS. Her wig was barely on. Her dress was not tied in the back. Multiple parents complained that you could see way too much.Next.. Guess what? I'm a daughter too. Want to step off your soap box.. Do you have a daughter? How would you feel if she was treated SO DISRESPECTFULLY when all she was doing was expressing her concern. And since you're all about confidence and all that - maybe make sure you hang up the phone BEFORE you call the customer a BITCH. Yes, I did hear you. Next I would like to know.. Were you at the party? You must have been.. She was ABSOLUTELY not there for her full hour. During face painting she was MEAN, rushed and not all 10 kids got their face painted. Yes, balloons pop.. If she doesn't know what she's doing then she shouldn't do it. Not okay to keep popping balloons right in kids faces. Also don't forget that she took time to charge her cell phone. I didn't know they had iPhones in Enchacia. Don't tell me my daughter and her friends had a great time. I NEVER SAID THAT. My daughter is smiling in ZERO pictures. There are only smiling kids when the princess was not present. It is mentioned that the princess could be late. I should have relieved a phone call! I never once called before the scheduled time - so maybe don't lie? I'm sure I'm missing plenty of points I wanted to reply to.. But in the end you guys handled this horribly. I did not harass anyone. I complained and you should expect more complaints coming. A company that actually cares would have tried to make it right. Why would I ever want to book with you again?? I will dispute the charge since you are not willing to work with me in any way. Your company did not fulfill what was stated in the contract.There is nothing wrong with me trying to warn people about you. This same post is on the Sonoma county moms page - it hasn't been up long and many people will now never book with you. Not because of the princess but because of YOU. Again thank you for calling me a BITCH and then having the nerve to try to lecture me.PS - I'm not the first person to say that I was hung up on. Hobby of yours? Maybe take a class in customer service!

Yesterday was my daughters 6th birthday party, she loves Queen Elsa!! Elsa came to our party and made my little girl and all her friends year! They loved singing and playing games with her. She had their full attention the whole time. Simply magical!! I recommend Elsa and all her princess friends to anyone looking to wow their little princesses. Thank you so much Elsa!

just wanted to express my delight with the service that was provided by Amanda as "Ariel" at our daughter's 7th birthday party on Saturday. She was just amazing. It was our first time hiring someone to come to our party and she far exceeded our expectations. She was so professional, in character and wonderful. The signing, dancing and attention to the girls was awesome. It was a dream come true for our daughter to have her there. We really want to thank her for everything. Amanda is a true gem, and is so talented. We hope that all her dreams come true! Thank you for the amazing experience!

OK - Let's start with the good. We had a panic over Christmas as our daughter has a birthday very close to the new year holiday so after a little fishing around I found some availability here and we hired a princess. We had previously had a princess party supplied by a different company and it was absolutely wonderful. It was full of ceremony, games, wonderful costume, face painting and ended on a group song and the crowning of my daughter as the new princess. This was not the case with Amazing Fairytale Parties. So the GOOD: They had availability and were very efficient at taking the booking fee. For those who were interested this is 120 of the total 195 fee.The UGLY: We were almost immediately contacted by our princess who gave us the low down. She would arrive 15 mins early and I was to meet her outside with cash in an envelope - And the TIP. It was mentioned a couple of times - I should place the tip in the envelope ahead of time so as not to break the realism when the princess spirited away after her appearance at the party. "Fair enough" I though - given that I was expecting a great performance for 200$ an hour - and added 30$ to the 75$ remaining dollars. For those who are interested - this much smaller portion of the money is what the performer receives in their entirety.Our princess arrived 15 minutes after her stated time, and then spent a few minutes talking -so by the time she actually began the party she was around 10 mins into the hour. There was no grand entrance as described - so I did one. We had spent an afternoon decking the playroom out with a thrown and drapes so this should have been easy. Now - This was the itinerary (For 200$):One CharacterGrand EntranceMeet & GreetStory TellingSing A LongFace Paint - 10 KidsGamesPhoto OpportunitiesHappy Birthday SongSo now we had a princess. In what I imagine was a 'Halloween outfit' quality dress. We were already run kind of behind, so she sat the kids down and read for 5 mins. There was no sing-a-long. We had provided a karaoke machine for the kids specifically for this - but it remained unused and our princess moved swiftly on to face painting. We only had 8 of the 10 children allowed to attend. The face-painting was awful. We have photos but the parents we asked preferred we didn't post them. AND THAT WAS IT. She barely got to the 8th child and the time was up. The kids were bored and the several parents that had remained to see the princess portion of the party were helping us entertain them. THERE WERE NO GAMESTHERE WAS NO BIRTHDAY SONGTHERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO PHOTOS - As on the dot the time was up she stood up and said she had to leave. I asked her to stay for a few minutes to take photos as she was running slightly behind when she arrived which she did. We organised the kids and blasted through a couple of pics.She smiled - said we were great and left - and our party was easier than most. I contacted the company to discuss what poor value for money this was. This is what actually made me slightly annoyed. Were were given a huge amount of guff while the lady on the phone tried to distance herself and the company and they suggested I contact her and ask for her portion of the money back. There were a number of poor excuses and for some reason we got kind of stuck where I was being asked 'But did your daughter have a good time'?Firstly - It is the booking companies job to refund me, although that wasn't initially what I called up for. Our daughter did have a party - because we have planned this as part of her day and worked extremely hard, but my point had been was that the services offered for the money had not been completed - and perhaps some training in time management and customer service would be a better investment. The individual who I spoke too seemed more interested in making sure that I separated them as a booking company from the performer, that I did not leave negative reviews and that they would obtain the performers money and refund it back to me. We have lived and learned. Please do yourself a favor and shop around. Offer your babysitter or a family friend a similar fee to face paint as at least they would be invested in your children. Extremely disappointing.Edit: 1/21/19The company is now posting private information in some effort to try and have us amend or remove our review. Not only - this is obviously highly unprofessional - but also - they are risking legal proceedings by suggesting we have had any contact with them or the performer since the party other than this review. As others that have had a similarly poor experience are now contacting me with the same story - and treatment - lets see how this plays out.Also - is it prudent to point out - I didn't not accept the refund offered - and the initial nature of the call was to discuss that the reality did not live up to the promise as it were.

Our amazing experience with Kyra as Princess Belle started when she started calling and texting in advance of my daughters 6th birthday. She was incredibly well organized, let me know exactly what she would need during her time (place to read stories, place to paint faces etc) and was wonderful at managing the time. When she arrived she was perfect, came totally prepared and just wowed the little girls. Her ability to command the room was impressive. When she sang to the girls, even the adults in the room stopped and stared. Her voice was amazing! Overall we were so happy with Kyra and several of the parents grabbed information so they could have a princess at their parties! Thank you!!

This is my 2nd time using AF. The first was truly amazing. We had Elsa come to my daughter's 5th bday party. She was magical, stayed in character, sang like an Angel, kept the kids attention & even made snow! Fast forward 2yrs later & we had Moana (Fi****a) come (only reason didn't use AF last year is they didn't have Poppy). She had no magical presence. It felt as if she really did just throw on wig & outfit vs acting like Moana. While the face paint came out ok she used stensils to do it and took most of the 1hr (only painted 4-5 kids). She didn't seem aware of the time. I interrupted to ask if going to have time to sing hoping to prompt her along.Also, her small talk with kids seemed off. She told one kid who said she wanted to be a veterinarian that it would be really hard job among other things. Then seemed to catch herself & said she could do it. My daughter said she even ignored her question about how long the paint would last. She read a book and stayed later to sing along with music & take a few pictures. She didn't have time to sing happy birthday and no special tricks or games.She wasn't horrible BUT for the price which was double another company I felt short changed. I thought we hired an actress but far cry. I had to give my non refundable deposit within 30min of booking trusting that I would receive top notch entertainment. Instead we were left disappointed with a flat performance & hearing from my kids she was "fake moana". Point is, you just don't know what you'll get!

We just had the greatest experience with Moana (Rian). She was Moana at my daughter's 4th birthday party yesterday and she was truly wonderful. She was so sweet and so professional, not to mention absolutely gorgeous! She actually really looked like Moana, not just someone playing a part. She was wonderful with the kids, very attentive, very patient and kind. And a very talented singer! Everyone was incredibly impressed with her, she's amazing! I honestly can't say enough nice things about our experience.

We had Olive come out for our Daughter's Moana themed 3rd bday and were very pleased. We booked over the phone and payed a deposit online easily. Then 5 days before the party, Olive called to set up clear expectations about how her performance would go, when she'd arrive, how to handle the remaining payment, what she would do and for how long. She did arrive 20 minutes late, but she was available via text to explain the delay. She arrived dressed beautifully and in character. The kids all really enjoyed her story time, sing along, face painting and photos. She was engaging, professional, a great Moana performer, flexible, upbeat, energetic, and most important, great with the kids. The face painting was not fantastic, but the kids didn't care. Recommend.

We hired princess Belle for my daughters 3rd birthday and Kyra was amazing! I felt like we had a piece of Disneyland here in our living room! She sang and played and read to the kids! Her singing was awesome too she had an amazing voice! All I can say is thank you so much for the wonderful day, one we won't forget for sure! All of my guests were beyond impressed, thank you again for making my daughters day special!

Booked performer for my daughter's birthday and the original performer was a no show and had sent her sister instead pretending to be her (not even background checked) she was late and looked like she rolled out of bed - not to mention had tattoos showing, a dirty dress and facial piercings. Manager made excuses and said there was no way for any sort of negotiation considering this absurd way to run a business. She couldn't sing and was just a mess. I even had guests at my party offer to dress up instead saying they would look better doing so. Seriously avoid this company at all costs you have NO control over who shows up at your door.UPDATE TO COMPANY'S RESPONSE:Just because others decided to post their one star experience with you DO NOT blame me for it or accuse me of creating fake accounts - the photo of my email exchange with the company proves they are combative and are lying about providing me with the performers name and information- I didn't seek it out they gave it to me and the email proves they were unprofessional from the beginning. In addition it is ILLEGAL for them to use their customer PRIVATE information such as full name which it seems they LOVE to do with anyone who wants to share their TRUE experience with them. ANYONE LOOKING TO BOOK - look elsewhere - save your time, money and save yourself embarrassment in front of your guests.
