I come here once in a while, not to often. But I do catch some killer deals on the beer. The liquor selection is huge and beer displays all over the store. If your into 40 oz or 32 oz beers and tall cans this is the place for you. It looks like one giant liquor store. Yes they have chips and munchies and a few other household products. They also sell white t shirts. The cigarettes are a bit high for my taste. Also during the day you can catch a taco truck out front. Alpine market also has a recycling center in the back. So during the day, you'll see a lot of traffic coming in and around the place. I don't really go there at night, if I do go, it's during the day or maybe 7 or 8 pm at the latest. The place is always clean and the staff is hella cool too. It's the same owner as El Dorado Liquor. I go to El Dorado Liquor way more than Alpine Market. I would give them five stars, but they need to carry more types of beer. Yeah, I'll sip on a King Cobra or Micky's 40 oz every now and then. But I do like other types of beer too. So yeah, if you want some Miller high life, Natural light, Keystone, Rolling Rock, Milwaukee Best and don't forget the 40's. This is the spot. *Cheers*Vincent D *VD* Life is Beautiful

Overall I have to say I like shopping at Alpine Market. It's a good place to get just about anything you'd need from a grocery store. Of course I wouldn't do a weeks worth of grocery shopping here but so far whenever I need just a couple of items I've taken my chances with Alpine Market and haven't been disappointed yet. In fact I've noticed prices are comparable to the local grocery store, which surprised me. I'm used to seeing items outrageously priced at the typical mini mart type of stores. An added bonus to choosing Alpine Market is Reyes BBQ in the back of the store has wonderful food. They have TriTip, ribs, chicken, jalapeño stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped with bacon, potato &/or macaroni salads, rice beans, salsas, sandwiches and a meat counter where u can choose meat to take home and cook yourself. They're always very friendly to everyone. In the front of the store is a taco truck that is open mostly during the day. They have the best food around. It's very tasty and always fresh. Anyways like I said above, I like shopping at Alpine Market and I think you'd like it too. So what are you waiting on, go see what you'll find at Alpine Market!

They get the extra star for the friendly cashier. It's a small mini market and liquor store in a store that is too big in space. Seems cavernous in there and you have to walk quite a bit to get to things. Not much of a selection for a market.

Two of the people working here are not wearing masks even though they are mandated. I asked why and they said they did not have to. They did not require customers to wear masks also. During this time my health and safety are important to me so I will never shop here again.

Very nice and helpful employees. They had a very large variety of alcohol and drinks and snacks. They have a taqueria and UHaul business inside and a taco truck outside. My family and I tried the taqueria and the food was amazing! Overall recommend 10/10!

Went back to the old Alpine Market now renamed Reyes Carnicera. Really clean and the sandwiches are very good. The store is now stocked with more grocery items. They also sell meat over the counter as well as a variety of BBQ'd meats. Give them a try.

I used to go here a lot when I was younger to get cheap coffee, never again after what happened. Went there yesterday for an energy drink, tried to buy a 'Black Stallion', a knock-off brand that is normally a dollar. I hand the cashier the energy drink and a 5 at the same time. he rings the drink up, it turns out to be 2.23 or something ridiculous. He tells me there's a 2 for 1 deal at my incredulous look, probably assuming I had a problem with just the price (and not the price being applied to the drink itself). I tell him I'm going to get another energy drink, and I go put the Black Stallion back, grabbing 2 Amp 'Sustain' energy drinks and asking him if it was the same deal for those too. He said yes, so I walk back to the cash register, and hand him the drinks. He rings them up, and holds a hand out saying '3.18' or whatever the price of the drinks together were. I say 'I handed you a 5 when you rang the drink up.' He refutes me, and for about 15-20 seconds we continue to argue until a man crouching next to him who I believe to be a manager tells us rather gruffly to stop arguing. He then told me to give him my number and to wait 30 minutes and he'd review the security tapes and call me. I get their number, give them mine, and walk outside to get a burrito I had ordered from the truck outside. Realizing that it would be too easy for the manager to just lie to cover for the worker (esp. if he knows and is friends with or related to the cashier), I walk back inside and tell the manager that I wanted to see the security footage also. He refused. I asked him why, and he started yelling and cussing at me, stating that if I wanted him to help me I shouldn't take an attitude ( I used no negative language towards him or the cashier, the only 'attitude' that I can figure he was talking about was a slight subconscious vocal change indicating anger). I told him I wasn't trying to take an attitude, and attempted to talk him down a little before I left. That was sometime after 1:20 PM and before 2:00 PM on the 3rd and I haven't gotten a single phone call and don't expect one. It's a shame as my 21st birthday is today (the 4th) and I was planning on going here for something like $200 worth of alcohol and chasers due to it's combination of proximity to my house and it's decent selection. It's funny, while the manager was yelling at me he said something like 'Stealing from you wouldn't make us rich!' (might have had more profanity). Even 1 star is 2 stars too many, rating wise.

Neither I nor anyone I know will patronize this market or it's sister market or it's sister market, EL Dorado Liquors anymore!! I have shopped there nearly everyday for the past year and not only are their prices WAY higher than any other comparable store in the vicinity......their cashiers are mostly SHADY! My sister and I have experienced rudeness, over-charging(as if we are not going to notice!) and most recently a complete lack of respect for the money we bring into their doors daily! They have let me leave the store without my ATM card, KNOWING it was mine........and DENIED it was there when I called! It's a VERY long walk from the register to the exit.......and NOTHING was said to me by the worker. COME ON! What kind of crap is that? The owner should recognize good customers when they come in. I bet he'll see the difference in sales after we haven't come in for a month.......we could have overlooked the prices, if only the service were half as good as the other store we go to that are CHEAPER! At least we are treated with the respect we deserve!
