This is a huge area which offers blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and cherries. Blackberries were not ready yet when we went this past Memorial Day weekend. There is a decent parking area on the grass with staff guiding where to park. I suggest arriving early as the lot can get filled quickly. There is a $1 deposit for using their bucket or you can bring your own. The staff bag the fruits for you after getting weighed. The orchard offers rainier, bing, and golden cherries. Watch out for ant hills, my niece stepped on one inside the cherry orchards. Best to have a separate bucket for each variety of cherries, don't mix fruits in one bucket. It makes it easier for staff to weigh and properly price the fruits.

There is a deposit for each bucket for picking cherries or blue berries, the staff won't return your deposit or take it out of your payment. You have to subtract your deposit out of your payment yourself. It's sneaky and dishonest for them to make an extra dollar. On top of that, they demand we open our trunks for inspection. They think we were stealing from them. We were parked on the road and not in their property.

A simple and clean farm with abundant cherries red and yellow , blue and black berries. Super tasty. Was an unplanned trip , but had a great time. Note : Happened to spot a snake around a cherry tree , so be cautious n do not leave the kids alone.

People are nice. The farm is big and they have selections of Rainer or cherries and lots of blueberries. The price is reasonable.

Not sure if it's the season or what but it's slim pickings here. Blueberries are like tiny beads. Raspberry area was blocked off. Peaches/apricots weren't even ripe yet. Cherries were plentiful though not a fan of it. Oh and they ripped us off on the bucket deposit. 7 buckets ($1 a bucket deposit) but only got $3 back.Luckily there are lots of farms around. Pick one of them instead.

A short 45 minute drive from Sacramento Alpine Blue offers two locations to pick cherries and blueberries. We went to both locations and picked Rainer cherries, Bing cherries and Blueberries. We also purchased some Blackberries at the fruit stand. Pick your own fruit is a measly $3 per pound. Wandering the orchards and fields looking for prize fruit is so much fun. I highly recommend making the drive for fresh fruit.
