Alluring Events and Design

I got engaged in July of 2017. As an older bride preparing for my second wedding, I had every intention of doing everything on my own. That wedding planners were for the younger crowd. I was completely wrong. Very early on I realized how impossible it would be to carry out my vision on my own. We decided on Coloma Resort for our wedding site, so I called and left messages with several wedding coordinators in the Sacramento area and selected Alluring events. In December I met with Rachel and Lonnie, and Lonnie was selected as my coordinator. She was responsive to every text, and I sent many. She knew my vision and gently guided me when I was off track. She contacted all of the venders and gave me several options. I know she had other weddings, but I felt that I had her complete attention. Her attention to every detail was amazing. I had no responsibility on my wedding day other than to sit in a chair and have my makeup done, drink Champaign, and walk down the aisle. Lonnie and her crew took care of every detail. My wedding was beautiful and perfect, and I credit Alluring Event for making my vision a reality.

Seriously Rachele was just the best. I was planning my wedding and felt very overwhelmed by choosing the design and details but Rachele to the rescue. We had her for the design and month of coordinating. Best money spent in so glad I didn't do it all myself. My friends were commenting on how calm I was the day of my wedding . That's how it is supposed to be! No stress so I just relaxed and took in all the hard work. During the planning phases I saw Rachele's many talents she was designer, project manager and occasionally talked me off the ledge when I started to feel overwhelmed . So lucky to have had her . I wish I had more occasions to throw big parties so I can hire her again

As a vendor (DJ), I've worked with Rachele and the Alluring Events + Design team for a couple years now and have literally nothing but good things to say about them!As someone who is at between 20-30 weddings a year, I can tell you that not all wedding planners are created equally. Rachele and crew at Alluring Events are consistently some of the most organized, fun, nice, and customer service oriented people I get to work with in this industry. They have a great aesthetic and their eye for detail shows at all of their gorgeous events. I'm married to a designer myself, so their next-level details and design stand out even more against the crowd.When it comes to coordination, Rachele is always on top of it and super communicative, whether it is 1+ year out from an event or the actual wedding day, she is always quick to respond and never makes it seem like I'm bothering her (even if I'm sure she has a billion other things to take care of at any given moment). Rachele is really a rockstar at keeping the show going behind the scenes and helping every event be a success. I'm always given any info/details I need well in advance and every wedding I've done with them has been incredibly well organized, on time, beautiful, and FUN!  Recently at a 100°+ event Rachele texted all the vendors an hour before we arrived and brought us Jamba Juice and battery powered fans, who does that??? I cannot recommend this team enough, I'm confident they will go above and beyond for your event.

We hired Alluring Events + Design for the day-of coordination of our wedding last year and had the most positive experience. My parents, who were heavily involved with the wedding preparations, have repeatedly said that they would have been a wreck without Brittany and her team. They were able to manage all the details involved in setup (ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), transitions, and break down flawlessly.Communication with Brittany started a few months before the actual wedding and included an extensive site visit. Brittany is highly organized and professional yet warm and sweet. I had the utmost confidence in her going into my wedding and came out of it convinced that hiring Alluring Events was one of the best investments we made for our big day.I'm sure there was a little chaos that day, but I never knew. That's exactly what you want in a wedding planner - someone who can handle the drama and hide it from the bride.

Brittany was absolutely amazing! She was super helpful leading up to our big day, and was an absolute lifesaver the day of - I can't imagine having done it without her! Booking Alluring was the easiest and best decision we made during the entire wedding planning process. We have a little one, and busy work schedules. So there is no way we could also pull off planning a wedding on our own. Lonnie kept us focused and organized. She knows best when we should focus on each task, and what decisions should be made when. She offered a lot of vendor recommendations, which was super helpful. She thinks about details that we would just not even think about. And on the big day, after almost a year of planning, everything went PERFECT! I don't even know how many people told us it was the most perfect wedding they've ever been to. And we are so happy that everything worked out so well, and we have all these magical memories to keep. I couldn't be happier or have a single nicer thing to say about Sarah Bayer and her team. Sarah is single-handedly the reason our wedding went so flawlessly. In the year leading up to the wedding, Sarah was very helpful as a sounding board, especially as we made COVID-related decisions. In the months leading up to the event, she was very communicative and spent hours on the phone with us nailing down even the tiniest details of our night. Sarah was very organized and detail oriented, and as soon as I sent her a vendor contract and contact info, I could count on her to take over and communicate anything that needed communicating.In the week leading up to the wedding, she helped me rejigger the timeline so we could ensure enough dancing. She's clearly an expert at what she does because when I wanted to move things around she'd know exactly the ramifications -- "If you move speeches here, it will mean people are still eating when dancing starts." etc.On the day of, she brought my vision to life even better than I'd envisioned it. She handled my crazy bridal party with ease and grace. She managed a tight run of show. I honestly have no clue if there were every any issues, thanks to all her hard work behind the scenes. I truly don't know how she managed so many details and moving pieces, while also seemingly being right there, ready and waiting, whenever I needed anything. She was also just an absolute joy to have around!My husband and I are beyond thrilled. I'm just sad to not still be working with her (Will most definitely be calling her for my sisters' wedding one day though!)

Aubrey, and her whole team, are the absolute best!! She made the wedding planning process stress-free and fun. She is an expert when it comes to coordinating vendors, creating a smooth timeline, and helping with the little details that make the day extra beautiful.
