NOW CALLED GOOD DEALS APPLIANCE LIQUIDATORS & I purchased a Queen Size Riser for my son's Mattress/ they have AWESOME!!!!/ Box Springs/ Mattresses & Bedroom Furniture.Mark, the Salesman did not make me feel pressured at all and I was given the chance to look at all the different Bedroom Furniture without a salesperson always hovering over me. Mark was very helpful and I had a great AWESOME!!!! EXPERIENCE.. Please go see/ Mr. Mark /MISS CORRINA/ MISS CLADDIE/ MISS LUVIA/ ALL THESE EMPLOYEES MENTIONED ARE ALL AWESOME!!!! Horrible customer experience! As this store recently change their name and are located in the north side off the freeway my husband and I found in convenient to sop by . Upon arrival no one acknowledge us or greet us. There was aSales person taking to another person and could have easily said welcome in. I'll be with you shortly. However nothing was said ! We walked around notice the over price items and poor quality mind you that the furniture here is more expensive than Ashaly furniture store. A woman came out her cubicle to stretch and seem bored and didn't acknowledge us . We had enough and walked out ended up buying our couches from Costco.com Amazing price satisfaction guarantee and free set up and delivery !

I witnessed their employees Chris and Angelica being rude and giving the runaround to a customer that was not comfortable with the fact that they could not track her shipment. They avoided her request to talk to Dany, Angelica laughed at her before putting her on hold. From what I witnessed, they told her at least 3/4 different delivery times varying from the scheduled date, to the following day, event into the following week! Her reasons of concern were completely valid but they could clearly care less since they already took her money. Danny was eventually on the phone with her and was so rude calling her "unreasonable" and "if anyone hasn't told her before then he was going to be the first to let her know". He also threatened to turn the truck around and NOT credit her for her purchase because he couldn't handle how upset she was. They gave different excuses to her on each conversation when she called to follow up with her shipment. You can see a perfect example of that on my GOOGLE REVIEW. The latest excuse was that they had an event scheduled the same day (random act of kindness) and gave a woman free furniture for her apartment so they were stretched thin. I really hope that nobody bought that excuse on google review. That excuse was never provided to the customer in any of their conversations they had. It was a clearly a poor response to save face from my poor rated review. I could not reply to their newest excuse they wrote to my google review so I thought I would reply here.Your excuses (lies) and bad customer service are why I will never recommend your business to others. IF you had an event scheduled the same day as other deliveries, why would you not inform your customers right away that random act of kindness was the event postponing your deliveries? And if thats how you guys provide customer service from being under pressure on 1 event then you guys clearly need to avoid holding anymore events.

I can not begin to put into words the amount of disappointment I feel dealing with this company for the past year. The amount of down right disrespect, blatant lies, theft, and stupidity has really gotten me to wonder how this company is still in business. A year ago I purchased over $3,000 in furniture. I purchased a couch $1250 one at that. A kitchen table. Bed for myself. A bed frame for my daughter. Upon delivery we discovered that the table I purchased was way too big for my apartment. I called my sales rep Anthony and he allowed me to return the table and told me to cone in and pick another table out. I did. The table I chose was approximately $200 less in price. When I reached out to Anthony to be sure I got the difference reported to the credit company he kept giving me the run around. He told me that that extra money was eaten up in delivery fees. Fees that I wasn't told I was responsible for at any time. He later told me that he had contacted the credit company and had them credit the account for $150. I trusted him. I never checked on him. The difference in the amounts was due to him adding a box spring to my order at the last minute because the bed frame I ordered for my daughter required a box spring. Since it was not what I thought I was buying, he threw that in. All I wanted was a flat bed frame for the top mattress. I wasn't happy with his logic but I was grateful for his supposed credit to my account and never questioned it. Fast forward to February and tax time and I go to pay off my furniture bill and I asked the company if the credit was made and they said no. There was never a credit made. I tried calling the store and talking to the general manager on many occasions but he was never available. Now in March of this year a family member leans on my couch and the back of it snaps. I called Alexander's and get them to come out for a service call on March29th. My couch is still under warranty so they need to replace my couch. There was no miss use of the furniture. There was no destructive behavior. It was just a fluke thing. Here it is May 30th and I still have not gotten my couch fixed. They have done nothing but give me the run around. I have spoken to Dominque. Rosa. And Fernando. Rosa never followed through with any phone calls made. Dominique and Fernando promised me numerous times that my couch would be shipped in "next week" only to get the wrong half. Six times. Here is the worst part. I'm moving in two weeks to San Diego. I've told them this. I've begged them to please just order the right replacement part. Deliver it before I move. I don't see it happening. I don't see this company stepping up. I don't see them standing behind their product. When I call and ask to speak to anyone of importance I'm given the run around. I just hope that anyone reading this review thinks twice before shopping at this company. They take your money and then screw you in the end. I'm very disappointed in this dishonest chain of events.

Purchased a sectional couch they said was an Ashley couch. We financed through their program, which in the end we paid almost $3000 for a very cheap made made couch that is not an Ashley sectional. I would never recommend or buy again from this company. Our sectional sinks all the way in when we sit, in some areas the sectional broke, my husband opened it up to repair it and we were very disappointed in the Mickey Mouse job they did.

My fiancé and I shopped here today and Anthony was our sales rep. We were not pressured into anything he was very professional. We purchased a table and chairs, sofa, chair and a ottoman all with delivery for $1700.00.I was worried about the reviews on here but our experience was enjoyable! I loved how when you walked in they were playing Klove ( my fav station)!We look forward to receiving our furniture and we were warned that it would take 4 weeks for delivery! I'm hoping the delivery goes as well as our experience here at Alexander's Update.......We ordered on sept 9 and received our furniture on October 10. Delivery was about 30 mins behind, but they called me and said they would be right there. Our delivery men were wonderful, very kind and professional. They took care with unloading our furniture and asked us where we would like it placed! They put it together and left within 15-20 mins. We are very happy with the quality of our furniture . THANKYOU so much for making our first experience buying furniture so good!!!!

My boyfriend bought me a refrigerator from here and it's been nothing but problems. When we've called them to see what could be done they say nothing at all and are very rude and tell us it's your issue. They hang up on the phone. You pay for things and get shit quality with what your buying turns out and their customer service is the lowest I've ever dealt with. We have lost tons of money in food because the air flow gets blocked because the vents in the fridge freeze were we have have to spent countless time using a hair Dryer to melt all the ice in the fridge. I will never buy anything ever again nor refer anyone there

If you want a happy furniture buying experience DO NOT buy anything here!!! If I could give no stars I would!!! It has been a living nightmare from day one of my purchase with them. First they lost my check. I had to sit on the phone to cancel check I had issued to them for over 1/2 hour and was charged $31 to do so. It was just a very unconformable situation having a check lost that was for over $2000.Then I asked my sales person the ETA of my furniture delivery. He straight up told me to my face that it would be 2 weeks, 3 weeks max. At the end of my third week I called back and I was told that the only person that could give me and ETA was Cindy and they provided me with her phone number. I call her a total of 4 times that day leaving a very detailed message each time and she never returned my call. I then call two more time the next day also leaving a very detailed message and again no returned phone call. I then call the store and asked to speak to a manager. They gave me Greg, I explained everything to him, and along with that I felt their store had the worst customer service I have ever see.His response was that Cindy was at warehouse inventorying a delivery that came in and she should be at store location within an hour or two. He stated to me that he would sit with Cindy and have her call the manufacture and have her call me back. Never received a call from her. Being frustrated I just ignored the situation and waiting it out for someone to call me with delivery date. On 9/11 I received a call in the evening who left a message saying they wanted to set up delivery dated and would call me back on 9/14, 3 DAYS LATER!!!. I called her back on the 14th and she wanted to schedule me for Saturday the 16th, now 5 days later!!Then the night before delivery I received another call at 8:30 pm stating they needed to change my delivery time to 9am-11am.Needless to say 9 - 11 passed with no phone call or no show. At 11:15 called the store and was told that they had a problem with one of their trucks, I asked to speak to Gregg who then told me that the truck my furniture was on had an oil leak. First thing I said to him was "nice customer service you have there, did anyone think about calling all your customers that were expecting delivery from 9 to 11???? At 7:20 that evening I called the store again because I still have not received my furniture. I was put on hold so long the phone automatically disconnects you so I called back again to be put back on hold again. Carmen finally told me the driver was at the customer ahead of me and they would call me in 10 minutes.Very frustrated once again I sat and waited. At 8:15pm I called Carmen back to let her know that they had not shown up. Again I was put on hold until the call was disconnected then called back again to be put back on hold again. She they said she could not get ahold of her drivers. By now its approx. 8:40 and I told her that I did not want them showing up as it would be past 9:00pm and way too late for a delivery that they would have to deliver it to me in the morning.She told me they did not do Sunday deliveries and I insisted they make an exception and find a way to deliver it to me on Sunday deliver it.They did show up the next morning at 9:00am sharp, just to have drivers unload all the boxes in my garage and walk away. All the furniture that I had bought which was a table, chairs and a bench were not put together and all showed up in pieces in multiple boxed!!!!This was a nightmare and I have never experienced this kind of horrible customer service with any company before. This is one store that I will NEVER go to no matter what kind of sale they had and I would never recommend t them to anyone!!!!

Beware of cheap Furniture and expect to hassle them for the stuff U pay for!!! Wish I would of read this reviews. I went in looking for a queen size bed and ended up buying a set. The idiot salesman was like I'll get you a deal and would not let us leave without buying something. We decided on an Ashely's set for $990 which I thought was a good price. He said they call you to set up a Delivery date if they don't call them. When I called the girl that answer was RUDE, you just placed the order ONE week ago. She made that very clear, I had to wait for someone to give me a call once the shipment was there. Well it's Sept 20, going on 5!!! Weeks!!! And I haven't heard back. I tried calling and they tell me I have to call another number that no one ever gave me. And no answer of course. This place has the worst customer service. I should of never walked into that store.
