Great stop after hiking the slough trail.Cold beers, perfectly cooked burger with Al's bread. 5 stars for a dive bar with some good history. Give it a try.

Fried to perfection cod tacos with Smashed avocadoLovely slaw and sauce - huge and so tasty- $15.00 bargain too. Also makes a mean and unique old fashion. Great attentive service And most unique ambience of anywhere -ask how to get a dollar bill up to ceiling.

Been going here for years. Whenever my work brings me home in that direction,(about once a month) I always stop for a grilled cheese ( gooey and great) and fries...can't miss the peanut butter and peppers !But this review is because the last 3 times the grilled cheese wasn't even melted, and it was on bread "Heels" ( the end pieces) FUCN SUCKS. I tried to keep going back thinking it was just one off...but the third time was a charm for me....I'm out. Service and ambiance is top shelf ALWAYS...food has gone to hell.Just heard they got a new cook a while back...Maybe I will try again. : /

One of a kind! I'd been meaning to make it out to Al the Wop's for many years. This place is popular with the weekend biker crowd. Full kitchen and full bar. Interesting decor, including an entire stuffed ostrich mounted on the wall. Worth the drive.

I've been eating here for years. The best Stake Sandwiches around. Bring your appetite because because the servings are big.

Great food, very tasty. Terrible service; very slow, waitress repeatedly forgot things (drinks, silverware, sides).

Neat little hole in the wall spot. You can tell there was a lot of history in the if only the walls could talk! The food was good and the portions were huge! Our server/bartender was friendly and definitely was getting her hustle on! From the bar seating, I caught a glimpse of the cook handling business! Our food came out fresh, hot and had a home comfort feel to it

Service 10/10 Thanks to Susanne she's been amazing, its an old style kinna of a bar which i love, most of the customers who come were locals which im loving it more. This place might appear to be your basic old dive bar(my favorite type of place lol), and it is that and lots more. I've only been there twice,but it has been impressive both times. They don't have a long list of choices but what they do have is so good that it doesn't matter. Great "home cooked type of grub, really good folks working there too. Our server did a excellent job both times we've been there. If I had to say anything that could be better it would be the parking. But that's part of the appeal of Al's. It's in the tiny town of Hyde, and it looks like it probably did 100 years ago. But don't let it keep you from going to Al's cuz it's a really cool tiny town. So do yourself a favor and go to Al the Wops. Great food, Great cocktails, and an excellent staff(shout out to our server Val)
