I first started doing business with AL Sanchez Tax Preparation in 2023. Alberto Sanchez was the one that initially helped me with my 2022 Tax. Everything was professional and no snags during the whole Tax Preparation process. And the price was affordable at $180 which included Active Military/Veteran discount. Which is why I came back as a returning customer. Returning this year it would be the complete opposite, having Daniela Monroy take care of my tax and having to pay $240 ($60 increase with Military/Veteran discount), while she babysits her young daughter who interrupted my Tax Preparation multiple times in the process. Don't get me wrong! I don't have an issue of you taking care of your child. But when it gets in the way of your services and creates complications for your customers. Now! It's an issue. Professionalism, ethics, and attention to details are compromised for a "Professional" you are paying for. Today, I figured out that I was missing a W2 in my tax filing. So I called them asking how I should go about it, hoping to be helped in revising my Taxes without having to spend as much as I spent the first time. Instead, I was met with coldness saying "It is YOUR job to provide all documents," and that it'll cost another $230 for the revision. In this economy, to spend a total of $460 for tax preparation is insane! I didn't like how they disregarded the fact that they also have a responsibility on this. I reminded her that during our meeting, her attention was not all there because of her daughter, not providing proper guidance and that it's not ALL my fault. However, they just kept repeating the same thing, "It is YOUR job to provide all documents." They expressed no fault on their end and provided no conflict resolution whatsoever. Basically, they want me to pay the full amount of $230 again, to re-do a failed service that couldv'e been prevented if she was giving me 100% of her attention. No proactive communication or conflict resolution was made after our conversation. This forced me to take back my documents and figure it out on my own. I will admit that I made a mistake with that missing W2. HOWEVER to express that there's zero fault on their end with what was just mentioned is incredibly unethical. Having to deal with other Tax Professionals in the past as a returning customer, the've done their own DUE DILLIGENCE to ask and make sure that I have ALL my W2s or other documents to avoid this type of challenges. It is their responsibility to guide customers with the Tax Preparation process hence when conflicts like that arise, they should have a way to provide conflict resolution or atleast express a good faith effort. Unfortunately, I didnt get either from AL Sanchez.

Appointment was set up a week ago for 10 A.M. it's 10:35 and no one has shown up yet. Not to mention a second person waiting here as well. Her appointment at 10:30. Very unprofessional. Why even open up on Sunday or let people book appointments if you guys are going to be closed.

Suzzy was very professional and was able to answer my fiancés questions. My fiancé asks a lot of questions and Suzzy was very patient and answered all of them for her. Thank you Suzzy!

I had a scheduled appointment for 1:30 PM. I arrived 10 minutes early, only to find Alberto nowhere to be seen. The receptionist looked clueless. This was highly unprofessional and very inconvenient for me and my wife, as we had specifically told him that we were coming from Brentwood based on the positive reviews. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met. I would not recommend this business to anyone. If he can't make it to a set appointment or give a courtesy call to inform that he can't make it to a first client consultation, I can't imagine how he would manage my taxes or accounting. Perhaps he won't even be punctual to filing or maintaining the accuracy of my business and personal taxes. Not the best first impression.

They have been doing our taxes for many years all my family does their tax and other immigration services with them. they are trustworthy, helpful and extremely knowledgeable of their work.

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! Scheduled appointment at 10am a week ahead of time for Sunday & I come here 10 minutes prior to appt , no one showed up for a whole hour ! Daniela the person who opened finally showed up to work with her child and McDonald's/Starbucks! Extremely unprofessional.
