Adobe Lumber

I purchased around 4K in materials. My carpenter measures were different so we returned the materials at the 3rd day.The owner and the whole adobe lumber team, rejected our return.Even though the material was intact, pristine and clean.Eventually the owner accepted the material but at half the price.Afterwards I learn that it was illegal according to the California Consumer Rights Civil Code section 1723, which states that merchandise could be returned less than 30 days.I would not recommend ANYONE to purchase from a store that does illegal activity towards the customer.I think it outrageous that establishments like Adobe lumber operate illegally.

When I was shopping for a new deck I called many places in the bay area and adobe was by far the most affordable and they offered very affordable delivery as well which was a great deal for us. They had the lowest prices fastest and most professional service of all the other lumberyards or related hardware stores that offer the decking that we need. This place is a one stop shop they have all sorts of lumber or similar building materials you may need

My project to build a couple of wooden raised vegetable beds was made simpler by Eric at Adobe. He listened to us, showed us the materials in stock, and shared his expertise. It was a very easy process from start to finish.I had a follow-up question about staining the wood. As I anticipated, Eric was very helpful in making suggestions. And he also followed-up with information as promised.

Had high hopes. Brian was friendly, responsive and helpful in taking my order. Material arrived as promised. A small but important part of my order was supplied with dimensions all over the place. Took 3-4 days to get a hold of Brian. He promised to replace the lousy material the same week Thurs or Fri, but it was a no call no show situation.When I call back to find out what's up, Brian says I now have to drive the 16' ft lengths back to swap them out. Yeah, in my Lexus, that sounds easy. Alas, it appears I will have to resort to protesting the CC charge and leaving the material out front to be made whole. The delay of getting these 5 cheesy boards has held up my fence work now a week, and cost them a customer who has 300' of con heart redwood fence to build yet. I won't give them another try because of the lie and lousy service.
