Love love love adkins!! They were so accommodating for our last minute big party. A friend of mine also got the membership because of how much she loved it when I brought her last time. Of course most of us got the burger, and a few bottles of the sparkling peach. Those are the best things on the menu next to the chocolate tasting. Bottle prices are very reasonable, especially with the membership! Will always be back! Vibe was very nice, especially in the outdoor area.Thank you so much Adriana and the rest of Adkin's staff for taking care of us!

We came here on a Saturday around 12:30pm. Our friend joined the membership so we didn't have to pay for the tasting fee. I think it was around $10 or $15? We got to try 3 wines each. They could only let 3 people do the tasting since we had a big group of 6 people. The rest of the group shared a bottle of one. They pour a good amount. They have sparkling, sweet fruit wines, whites, and reds. The reds were bland. The whites were better. I would come here for the white wines. Nice, big property. They have both indoor and outdoor seatings. Dog friendly.

The wine & food definitely are 5 star but I downgraded a star as service was far below par. We sampled the Chardonnay, Great White, Sparkling Pomegranate and a red blend which were all excellent. I would rate the burger and fries above 5 star if possible. Tastes just like the one from Sheldon Inn cooked to perfection with a slightly sweet bacon jam, delish garlic mayo and topped with arugula and white cheddar! The issue was service with long waits for wine and no one ever came to check us out. We had to walk to the front counter and take our food to get boxed and to close out. Compared to other wineries in the area it seems Adkins prefers to employ a younger employee who is not trained to be as attentive. Despite service I will be back!

Love Adkins. Great wine selections, ambiance is always relaxed, and it's just a nice setting to be around. I've came during the spring, summer, and now winter, and I always get the same vibe. Whether you're with a big group or small group it's a good spot to hangout. With it being winter they do allow outside patio seating, which they have heat lamps and fire pits. Plenty of seatings outside and some inside. Workers are sooo attentive! I appreciate their service each time. They all look good and work well. Their tasting go for 3/$10 so affordable and they have a great selection to choose from including sparkling wine. Or you can purchase by the glass or even bottle.

Always a good time at Adkins Family Vineyards. We love to sit out on the beautiful patio, drink some great wine, and have a bite to eat. Last Sunday, for example, was a beautiful sunny day in November. As they often do, they had live music, which is always a plus. I ordered a glass of Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. My husband got a tasting flight. All the wines are delicious. We are wine club members, so there are great discounts and perks that we get; highly recommend the wine club if you are so inclined. The customer service is stellar; the staff are always friendly.We ordered a bite to eat (a portobello mushroom burger and an order fried zucchini and onion rings). Food was delivered quickly, and was very good. I really wanted the hamburger, but I'm trying to switch to a mostly plant-based diet. I was not disappointed in the least; I enjoyed my portobello mushroom burger.

Awesome little winery in Elk Grove!Being so close to so many locations for wine, I never thought I could stay in town and find a great locally owned winery. The owners also own their own solar company and Sheldon Inn next door.Visited with the lovely wife this past week as we've heard about of good things about this place. The result? We ended up getting quite a few classes and joined their wine club.Our server was great and seemed to be very knowledgeable about the wine and engaged. Not only was the service great but also it had a great location with lots of different areas to sit. After drinking the entire menu, we tried a little of the menu with the lobster rolls. Was an awesome choice and really see myself coming here more often!

I have not been to Adkins in a long time. I am so glad I went today. The outdoor grounds are beautiful! There are tables tucked away in a garden setting. There was a live band. It was such a fun relaxing time! I plan on going back next week. I had a sparkling wine sampler. The pomegranate wine was fantastic. My favorite hands down. The service was good and super friendly. The only thing I did not like was that we ordered an appetizer, waited half an hour for our food, then the waitress came and said they ran out of our choice. We had already drank our wine so we chose to eat dinner elsewhere. Other than the food problem it was a great place.

This winery is a hidden gem in Elk Grove! When you enter the back patio it feels like you have transported to a winery in Napa! The entire location is perfectly landscaped to only offer green views! The tables are just far enough apart for privacy while being close enough to not feel like you are the only people there. I have gone three times, once with a girls group, once on a date and once with my husband and kids. Each time the servers were amazing and the location was breathtaking! I love the sparkling pomegranate and peach wines! They are perfectly sweet and offer something a bit lighter than some white wines. The cheeseboards, tacos and even French fries here are amazing! They have huge fans cued up for the summer, as well as heaters for cold winter nights. Honorable mention to the bathrooms with their heated toilet seats . I cannot wait to come back!

Adkins Winery, Sheldon, CA - November 11, 2023We arrived on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm. We sat out under the covered patio at a high top table. A solo guitarist vocalist by the name of Tommy Palmer was playing some terrific music. We've been to all the wineries in the Seldon area and each has its own charm, but Adkins takes the cake when it comes to ambience, service, wine, and food. They have indoor seating in a nicely finished barn-like setting with both table tops and cushy chairs, outdoor covered patio seating, and outdoor seating under the trees. The property is beautifully landscaped with lots of park-like space that includes a large outdoor stage. Our server's name was Evelyn and she took great care of us getting our wine selection and food orders. We're members here, so naturally this review could be viewed as bias, but we've always been well taken care of here. Wine tasting is free for members and up to 4 guests and members receive many other perks as well. Every year, you are entitled to a free birthday-glass of wine. My wife got her free glass on this occasion - the Reserve Cab. Sauv. (Reserved for members only). You do need to sign up for that in advance. I got a flight of 4 wines - a Viognier, Chardonnay, a Cab Sauv., and the Cab Sauv. Reserve. All the wines were excellent!We got a portobello mushroom burger and a plate of fried zucchini and thinly cut onion rings with a couple choices of aioli sauce to eat. Everything was delicious as we watched Tommy perform what could have been the winning set on American Idol.
