Adalberto's Mexican Food

Adalbertos is a credit to not only Mexican cuisine, fast food, but to dining out period. Their staff is attentive and courteous in every way. I've been eating at Adalbertos for the last 10 years. I haven't ever been disappointed.

I use to love this place. It's been awhile since I've eaten here due to me wanting to change up my diet. However I have been craving it so I decided to go. As I drove up to the drive I remembered there is to be a line of people ordering food. When I showed up it was literally after the football game on a Sunday and I was the only car. I didn't know at the time why. So as I started to order my food the lady taking my food seemed to not be friendly, or helpful at all. She was very rushing me and seemed to be bothered by me asking about the combo meals. So I finally place my order and as I drive up to pay the customer just was terrible. It was very disappointing and unwelcoming. She took my money, gave me my change, and dang near shoved the food in my hand. Im thinking "what's the rush? I'm the only one in line". Anyways I wish I can give it 0.5 stars because it was just a horrible experience for me. I will never go back. The taco trucks service are better and food 10x better. In my opinion. Hopefully they read this and make the necessary changes.

My family and I have been going to Adalberto's for years. We are big fans of their carne asada super burritos, shredded chicken quesadillas and flautas "rolled tacos." Their service is efficient and quick. If you go inside, you can get free chips. Make sure you try their salsa verde! It has the right kick!

Stop by here for lunch with some co workers and order asada burritos. Parking is ample in a shopping center and service was good, received our food within mins, small little seating area, ask key for the bathroom. The burrito was a little salty but with red sauce it balanced out.

I ordered a chicken burrito and man, they weren't kidding. It was all chicken. Literally the whole burrito. I guess I should stick to their sets, they usually come with rice and beans and I can at least sort of feel like I'm getting a balanced meal. At least the chicken tastes pretty good, but I'd usually expect there to be a variety of ingredients in a burrito. I'll certainly not be ordering a burrito again, I'll stick with the chicken tacos from here on out.

Ok let me say we have eaten a lot of things from here and the food is really good but we're waiting to try the menudo !! Being we have tried a few places . Honestly I have to say this is one of the best places for that here in Stockton!!! We will try a few more things and hopefully beable to give them the 5th star coming up!!! If you are in area try them out!!! You won't be disappointed!!! I'll put up pictures next time!! Was to hungry and forgot lol

I usually love the food and service here but unfortunately my last time here will be my last time. I had ordered a cheese enchilada and they gave me chicken. I had ordered it for someone who is a vegetarian so this was extremely disappointing. I wish they would check their food before giving it to you. I can no longer trust them to do something so simple so they will no longer be getting my service.

I think there is some confusion here regarding individual places. Adalbertos is all over the state and I THINK they are franchised: owners make decisions regarding food quality, cooks, staff, etc. This Adalbertos is no comparison to that Adalbertos. Stockton Adalbertos is a no-questions 5 star. I can't account for ANY negative reviews. Always spotlessly clean. Staff is always smiling and helpful. But the food is magic. Perfectly crisp flautas, succulently beefy and dressed with the right amount of guac and cheese. The humble bean and cheese burrito is (somehow) light and dense at the same time giving you all the deep frijole flava you could EVER want with a delicioso ribbon of melted cheese run through the middle. Day yum. I think I'm hungry again. Stockton Adalbertos, I-5 and Hammer, if you have to drive up from Imperial Beach in SoCal, do it.

Night shift is way netter so much nicer and respectful. I order food and everything recieve it through the wind and stuff, (foods good btw not knocking that) recieve my food and I ask for red sauce. The little bit taller lady goes "there's some in there" with a bad attitude and closes the window as I'm talking trying to ask for something. No one behind me or anything. No reason to be rude like it's totally uncalled for. EVERYBODY else BUT her are very respectful especially the night crew

Super burrito shredded chicken so so good !!! Thank you !!! And fast service through drive thru ...thank you to the girl that came to my car while behind the car in front of me and brought it to me and I tapped my payment and I drove off !!! Made my morning !!
