"We were lucky enough to get a parking space almost in front of the restaurant. We walked in and were greeted immediately by being asked if we wanted to eat in or order to go. When we said eat in, we were given our choice of tables. It looked like most of their tables are high tops and of the two low tops, one was already occupied. We took the other one. The server dropped off menus as well as chips and salsa. He then offered to take our drink orders while we decided what food to order. After he dropped off our drinks, he came back with his ordering tablet. She got a Carne Asada Super Burrito - 4 - Overall, she liked the size, the meat was tender, and that there was avocado. The one downside was she felt the burrito was a bit bland. Chile Verde Plate - 4 - Very good. I'm a freak. I like a little bit more fat on my pork. Loved the beans. "We were in the private dining room with 48 dinner guests and a speaker with audio visual needs. Food was buffet style and was terrific! Fruit platter desert tray was well received. We had a no host bar. Bartender was working two bars, the one in the front of the house and our bar in the back near our dining room and he did a wonderful job despite having to split his time. Soda machine and salsa bar to the far left. Different salsa, avocado one was awesome not spicy at all. I order a Taco Combination Meal, came with 2 tacos (soft or fried) I chose fried. Homemade fried and good crunch and did not split underneath. Came with meat (I ordered carne asada) lettuce, cheese, green salsa (mild) and sour cream. A lot of meat and tasted really good. Also came with Spanish rice and refried beans, both good.I also order a chicken tortilla soup (mainly because I was cold, definitely too much food. The soup was hot and hit the spot. "Found this place on Yelp. Saw it has good reviews. Called and ordered ahead. My food was ready at the specified time. Got the birria mulita, chipotle shrimp taco, vampire taco and ceviche crunch. The ceviche had a lot more tomato's and salsa, not much shrimp. The vampire taco is a small bite like a mini tostada. The chipotle taco was good but had way too much sauce. The best thing was the birria mulita which was juicy and flavorful."

The chips and salsa were really cool and they also brought out a cabbage and jalapeño salsa that was amazing and unique. The bean dip was fire too and got the appetite going.I browsed the menu and seen the Chicken Molé Poblano. I love trying molé and when I seen El Jardin's had won an award I couldnt pass it up. I was here with a large party after a water polo tournament for my son. So service was a bit slow but the server did her best refilling drinks and chips. When the food did come out it was hot and looked delicious. The molé was phenomenal! I can see why it won an award as it was the best molé I've ever had to this point in my young life. "I stopped by Chevron while my car was getting serviced next door and smelled something amazing. I followed my nose to the back and saw someone chowing down on a torta, instantly making me hungry. The staff member who greeted me was super friendly. After some chat, I decided to go for the chili relleno burrito, a dish I'd never tried before. The burrito came out quick, and let me tell you, it was girthy - the size of my forearm and thick thicccc. When I took that first bite, it was heaven. The rice and beans had a nice seasoning and the green chili was tender melted cheese inside. Both their red and green sauces were bomb too. Honestly, it's one of the best burritos I've ever had in the 209. I'd totally recommend trying the supreme chili relleno burrito, and next time, I'm definitely adding Carne Asada to it!!!"

Was pretty bummed that they Messed up on our order as well as our friends order. Forgot to add sour cream and cilantro on all of our burritos. A friend ordered a bean and cheese burrito which the cheese wasn't melted and was just thrown on the beans. It was horrible! The fries for the asada fries needed to be cooked a little longer. But as always the asada was flavorful and the hot sauce was on point. Maybe it was just an off day for the cook. Well definitely be back again tho since it's closer to us"

I'm always a little suspicious because it's Morada and I wouldn't actually consider this place a food mecca for obvious reasons. (Meaning I'm picky)The Super Burritos came with with a mini plastic baggie filled with some chopped carrots, 1 jalapeño, chopped radishes and one lime. I would have preferred at least 4 to 5 limes because I like to squeeze the juices in.If you decide to eat here, there is one bench available where you can sit. It easily seats 6 people at the most (3 on each side). This food truck is located right next to the Chevron gas station if you're looking for a marker. Most people take their orders to go but it was a nice enough day to eat outside in the fresh air. I ordered a Chicken Super Burrito and after one bite, I knew that everything was on point. Tender shredded chicken that was seasoned well with mexican rice, refried beans, cilantro and onion. 1/2 star off-- *only* because I wish they had some salsa fresca in here. Love me some freshly chopped tomatoes but they didn't add them. If you're looking for good Mexican food, don't pass this place up. It's in a great location right off the freeway and next to the Chevron Gas Station."

After 10 pm and the place was very busy with a steady stream of folks coming in to order mostly for takeout. Ordered the crispy tacos with ground beef and taquitos again, this time the ground beef had no flavor, and it seemed more like chili meat than regular ground beef. For the taquitos or as they call them rolled tacos. I assume they would be chicken as they were before but instead they were also the same ground beef mixture.Everything was made to order and very fresh, but we were just not thrilled with the ground beef. Ordered another crispy taco with shredded beef and it was so much better.Folks at the counter are friendly and helpful, and even joke with their customers. From the interactions with people coming in, they get a lot of repeat customers."

"I've been to the Chapala in Stockton before, but honestly this Manteca location is a lot better plus way cleaner. They also have an open kitchen so you can see your food being made. It's the usual ordering process where you order then sit down and wait for your food to be given to you. Only downside is you have to pay for chips, but not a huge deal.I personally ordered the Carne Asada Taco & Al Pastor Taco. Each taco is $2.75 which is a solid price. The Al Pastor and Carne Asada were pretty standard. I definitely prefer the Asada more. The meat to tortilla and salsa ratio is perfect too. The tortilla was really soft and doesn't fall apart while eating it.The Carne Asada Quesadilla ($11) blew my mind. That thing is MASSIVE. For $11 too it is a great deal. It was absolutely loaded with Asada and guacamole. It is definitely a sharable item and I couldn't even finish it despite being a total glutton myself. It is great value and I'd recommend it.Once you finish the staff cleans the table and dishes for you. Customer service is pretty friendly overall and the store is basically spotless. This is certainly a great spot for authentic Mexican food."
