Steak N Fries

The service was great. The behind the counter, I assume she was the owners daughter, was very pleasant and had a smile ready for me as soon as I walked in. It was my first time here. She explained how their menu worked. I have a spot for philly cheesesteaks I normally go to but saw this place and was like let's try something new. I'm glad I did. I dont understand the one star reviews on here. Things like not enough meat or veggies. You want your sandwich to fall apart? Do you not read? They USE RIBEYE, plus where else do you get a sandwich this size that isn't mostly vegetable this good for 12.50? You tell me one other philly place where it's just as good for 12.50 with actual ribeye. If you've ever had an authentic philly in philly, this roll is the normal size of an amoroso roll. Actually you can compare for yourself if you want. The smart and final in Tierasanta sells amoroso rolls from philly. I also got cheese fries but I devoured those so..... you tell me.This place is amazing. I will be back and I will bring friends. I'll also bring my father who is from philly and I guarantee he'll agree. You ladies keep up the good work. Thank you for the amazing food and beautiful smiles!

Five out of 8 of the Most Recent reviews appear to be fake! When one 5-star review after another has been submitted as the 1 and only review posted by a Yelp critic, it's a very high probability that the owners and employees have packed the reviews WITH FAKE ONES!These reviews are insulting to Yelp members and non members as well whorely on Yelp to select new restaurants to try. Good restaurants don't need to CHEAT!If a new 5-star review is posted by a customer who has never or very rarely rated a place, it's MORE THAN LIKELY A FAKE!!!

Came in here last week and got the standard philly cheesesteak with cheese whiz. I was pretty hungry so it was good, but lacked a bit of flavor. Could have just been this experience but it was an average cheesesteak.Would come back here out of convenience.I will say the customer service was excellent!

I so wanted this place to be good, I'm a veteran just like the owner, and I love that he's from the East Coast. I've been here five times and four times out of five I got sick from the food unfortunately plus the meat is extremely dry so you won't see me back in here again. From my own personal perspective, Paying for unsanitary food is bad karma for the owners. The meat is so low quality I can't chance it again plus it's just a matter of time that it'll all be 3-D printed.

If you are ever in PB and get hungry please do yourself a favor and check this place out, small family owned restaurant with a nice interior, the folk that work there are super friendly, food is AMAZING and is priced very fairly, overall I have no complaints with my visit. Me and my buddy left with smiles on our faces. Will be coming back!

Hubz craved a cheesesteak and we were in PB for an appointment. This place got pretty good reviews on Yelp, so we decided to try it out! The space is small but plenty of seating for a quick bite. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The two people working in there were super nice. Unsure if the older gentleman in there was the owner, but he was so nice. He seemed genuinely happy to be there and enthused to answer any question we may have. We were not too hungry, so we decided to order and split a loaded cheesesteak. It was yummy. I think I prefer fries on the side. The roll was yummy. Good size cheesesteak. Could have had more meat and more fries. It was a yummy quick lunch with a great guy behind the counter. Will probably try the place out again, and will get something different.

My husband and I shared a loaded cheesesteak and the steak n fries. We did not regret our decision. The cheesesteak was piping hot, fabulously cheesey and meaty. The fries were also incredibly tasty and it took only a few minutes for them to prepare our order. The store has just a few stools inside and a few tables outside but is a legit eatery. The staff who helped us were helpful and friendly. This was a great and affordable experience. We will be back!

This restaurant is a very special place and the owners are super friendly. Cheesesteak makes me drool and have an episode. Nothing else really to say, I used to eat here all the time but we had to break up because the cheesesteaks were killing me. Really it was my fault bc I could have ordered it without the double cheese and extra extra meat and two cheesesteaks instead of one and I probably would have been fine. Anyways I'd show you a picture but I never remembered to take one for obvious reasons.

Best place in California for a Philly cheese steak, cant beat the food service and vibe. Fire!

Food is so good. Service from owner is immaculate. Vibe is great. Highly recommend this place.
