We absolutely still love Stay Golden and make it our first go to for brunch. I love the avocado toast with extra egg. Their sourdough is outstanding and biscuits put all others to the test. That said, they have the absolute WORST napkins in the world. The worst. Like you need 5 just to wipe your hands once. Every visit one of us is grabbing napkins from the tables next to us. Advice to management: invest in some decent napkins. One solid napkin would go a long way.

we went to the new location in the nations. it was crowded, to be expected for a Saturday morning. the line moved fast and we were warned at the counter it would be a 30 minute wait for food, no problem. one in the party ordered the jam with a gluten free biscuit (advertised it could be made GF on the menu). I got the golden arches. we both got an iced black tea. the iced black tea was very yummy and turned out to be the highlight of the visit. instead of it being a 30 minute wait, it was actually right at an hour. I appreciate the heads up about wait time but unfortunately it wasn't accurate. again, they just opened and it was Saturday morning so maybe just a kink to be worked out over the next few weeks. now for the food. our order was wrong, my friend got a regular biscuit with hers and I got the GF. it's luckily a preference for her and not a genuine allergy, but this would be a huge issue for others with celiac. we switched our meals and realized that after an hour wait, we got cold food. at this point we were restless, and ready to leave, so we did not want to get back in line and wait even longer to try to correct this, so we ate our cold wrong food and left. it would've been decent if it was hot, but I'm not sure it would've been worth the wait. this visit was disappointing to say the least and there's just too many good breakfast/brunch spots in Nashville to try again in my opinion.

Stay Golden is located at 2934 Sidco Drive, behind the 100 Oaks Shopping center in a light industrial park. It's got the Nashville trendy vibe, and trendy prices as well. ($50 before tip for two) Lots of indoor seating and a handful of outdoor tables. However, this is not "quaint neighborhood". It's an industrial strip mall. The biscuits are ok nothing out of the ordinary. Had both the biscuits and gravy and a cinnamon raisin biscuit. Both were ok. It came with an egg which was fresh. We added some seasonal jam and and a hot chicken thigh. Jam was good. We didn't like the thigh which had a weird flavor. We also had both a hot and cold coffee. They were horrible. They have unisex bathrooms but sadly were dirty and didn't have hand driers or hand towels. They went hard on the minimalist trendy vibe. All said, it was meh. After a few hours I felt sick so needless to say I will not coming back.

I think I found one of the best brunches in Nashville. This hidden gem stay golden had the best steak and eggs I have had in a while. I appreciate that they did not change the style of the way that they prepare the steak and eggs; you get it how the chef prepares it. The steak was juicy, delectable, and melted in your mouth. The eggs are nice and fluffy. The potatoes and the bacon were great as well. I added an aperol spritz and you've got yourself a good time. The restaurant is pay before you eat. I would have liked to be checked on a couple more times by the waiters and waitresses, but it was fine. It's a nice ambience in the restaurant and a party room in the back. Check out.

Love the location, vibe, food, and service! They do unique twists on breakfast. The biscuits are amazing! My only regret is I didn't have the opportunity to try the cinnamon raisin biscuit. It's on my list for our next trip to Nashville!

Came here on a dreary Sunday morning and had a really good experience. The man at the counter took our order and gave us a table number to sit at. We ordered two waffle sandwiches which was a special at the time, gingerbread cookie, and a latte. They didn't have pimento cheese which was supposed to be on the sandwich so they kindly offered us a free side which was more than generous in my opinion. The food: The waffle sandwiches were big and delicious with a nice sauce, eggs, and pickled onion. Crispy potatoes were done very well, bacon was crispy but not burnt, and my gingerbread cookie was 5/5 and I'd order two next time. My latte was one of the best in recent memory as well. Overall the food was a big highlight with no complaints/disappointments. This place had a really cool vibe and we look forward to coming back and trying more!

A hidden gem! We'll be back. We went to Stay Golden for brunch -- order at the counter, receive a number with an *assigned table* -- which I thought was a great touch -- and they bring your food to you. It's a super cute vibe inside and the building it's in seems to be a refurbished older warehouse type building. I also think they've done a great job with consistent branding and signage. There was a line because it was New Year's Day, but in addition to the inside space where the line forms, there's also an airlock area that is indoors, so we never had to stand outside and I felt like the line moved at a very reasonable pace. They have a nice beverage and coffee menu, but we had some coffee on our way over so I'll have to save drinks for next time. For brunch, I ordered the Golden Arches, a biscuit sammy with sausage, egg, and cheese with a side of potatoes. Husb ordered the Benedict and we also got a cinnamon raisin biscuit to go from the pastry counter. The biscuit sandwich was tasty and satisfying, and I'm fairly certain the sausage is homemade based on the taste and look. I didn't try the Benedict, but there was plentiful hollandaise and the eggs looked perfectly runny -- which i normally don't find when ordering Benedict out. After eating the cinnamon raisin biscuit warmed at home, it was maybe even better than my sandwich -- perfectly flaked, and a great balance of sweet with touch of salty. I think that the assigned table combined with the water carafe + glasses provided on the table made for a "counter order" style to feel a bit more cozy. Love the vibe and tasty food. My only gripe is the teeny napkins don't go with the type of food they serve. Great place that we'll be adding to the rotation.

I stopped at Stay Golden in a rush for a quick bite and coffee break after an appointment in Berry Hill not expecting much, and I was very pleasantly surprised! I sat in and got a coffee cake muffin and iced Cuban. The coffee is amazing! The baked goods, especially muffins, are the best. The area is spacious with an abundance of seating, including a main area, upstairs, and back room. Seats are assigned by number too, so you don't have to fight for a place to sit, even during busy hours. The servers are super friendly, but service can be slow, especially during peak hours, but the food and drinks are well worth the wait.

I visited Stay Golden yesterday morning at around 10am. As Sunday mornings are normally busy I assumed we would have to wait a little and the wait actually moved relatively quickly. But once the food ordered my friend failed to receive her coffee when mine was delivered and had to asked repeatedly for her coffee until she finally received it about 1.5 hours after being there. The food took over an hour to come out and was cold. I had high hopes for this place. Coffee was the best thing about the meal!

Came Sunday for lunch and it was a 2 and a half hour wait and we were not warned. Many people after us asked to get refunded due to such a long wait. Heard this happens too many times. This is unacceptable!
