I have found an awesome cafe. But sadly, it's an hour drive from my home. But I have to share. It's worth the time. Free off-road parking two minutes away ( gated) . Look for the small sign on the ticket shed. There's also large paintings on a brick wall. Now back to the cafe. I liked the decor modem and bright. Large booths and tables. Comfortable seating all round. The staff were helpful and friendly. Watching the staff, you can see teamwork. The menu is a good size. Something enjoyable for everyone. Plus, there's great coffee options and other drinks. The food we all chose came out hot and in a great time frame. All tastie. For me, it's a 10 out of 10. I look forward to going back.A little information. Connecting to the cafe is a small bar . Which I was invited to see. Beautiful inside. Has a private room for events. Any food served is prepared from the stay cafe. check this out also for times. But even better, there's a Speak easy in the basement, which will be opening soon. Great all-around building.

The cutest spot. Warm and friendly staff. Food was delicious. Smoked salmon Eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and nice large slices of smoked salmon!!! And yes, the dill hollandaise sauce was really good. We got table pancakes to share and they were light and delicious fluffy with enough fruit for us to share. Perfect post puppy yoga brunch!!!

If you don't come for anything else, please come for the breakfast potatoes and vibes. I came solo on a weekday afternoon for brunch. There was only one other table of people there when I stopped by, but this place may get more traffic on the weekends. The space is fairly large and can fit both smaller groups and larger ones. I didn't bring my laptop when I came by, but I could totally see myself coming back on a weekday to be productive. I ordered the cajun omelet and breakfast potatoes. The omelet was the perfect size and the ingredients tasted fresh. The breakfast potatoes are different from most others I've had and I really enjoyed them. Great Logan Square area daytime place!

Stay Cafe is the breakfast/brunch spot that Logan Square needed Open 7 days a week from 7am - 2pm, you can get tasty breakfast, brunch or lunch! They are offering a great selection of food AND drinks and is the perfect spot to get your day started. The vibes are chill and relaxed and as customers start to pile in, you get the cool, neighborhood vibes. Plenty of families were there, so feel free to bring the kiddos too! Food that I tried:Smoked Salmon Benedict Banana Foster French ToastFluffy Buttermilk PancakesBreakfast PotatoesScrambled EggsEverything was GOOD! The bananas foster French toast was delicious and I loved the candied pecans on top. However - BREAKFAST POTATOES!!!! O. M. G. They were BEYOND GOOD! They're made with a black pepper pecorino aioli that is crazy good. These are the best breakfast potatoes I've had anywhere! They also have mimosa flights and an espresso bar. Sweet! Try their Sister location a couple of doors down - Bad Habit. It's sooooooo delish and one of my favorite restaurants in Logan Square. I love them! Pop in one morning to try them for yourself and tell 'em that Bri from Planes and Plates sent you and be sure to follow me for more great recs around Chicago and beyond. Enjoy!

Really enjoyed grabbing breakfast here. Excellent coffee selection. Great food items -- everything from omelets to pancakes and sandwiches. Has a cafe feel with elegance. Great place for a large group. There's plenty of seating.

Chicago is known for its brunch and brunch places. It is one of the few cities that I know where brunch is a big thing. So naturally, I had to try Stay Cafe in Logan Square. First, I loved the interior. I thought their exposed brick walls with lush plants were so cool and captured the Chicago and Logan Square vibe. Plus, they have a huge feature fall featuring a cool mural in their sitting area. Second, they have parking. In Chicago, I cannot emphasize how important this is, especially a neighborhood like Logan Square that has a lot of parking restrictions. It's right next store and it's huge. It's the parking lot for the closed CVS. Sadly, when I went to the restaurant, I wasn't aware of it, and parked on the street a few blocks away. Third, their food is amazing. I ordered a latte, the red velvet buttermilk pancakes, the stay burger, house cut fries and the all American breakfast. The pancakes were light and fluffy and thankfully not over sweet. The all American breakfast was good and had the right components. However the burger was great and the had cut fried were phenomenal. Fourth, the service was very good. The wait staff was nice and the food came out quickly. In sum, you definitely need to try this spot and add it as a go to brunch spot.

Went here for brunch a few weeks back and the food was really good! I was in the mood for an omelet so I am glad we stopped here. We ate outside, I like how their outdoor booths have a little privacy screen so you aren't just staring at the cars.As for the restaurant itself, it appeared very clean and bright. The staff was attentive and fast. I got the Sicilian omelet which was delicious and the amount of goat cheese in it was perfect! I love anything with sun dried tomatoes and artichokes. My boyfriend got the Cajun omelet and he said it was one of the best he had. We also were surprised about the breakfast potatoes, because normally when you get a side of potatoes they don't look as perfect and delicious as these. Would definitely recommend getting them on the side!

Great food!. I've been attempting to try this place for a while now, but am always too busy to make time. Finally tried it today and was pleasantly pleased!. We opted to sit outside and I liked the view. It gives you that NY outside cafe vibe. The one caveat is the El train that is in the near distant...very loud when it passes every 15 -20 min. The music playing was nice and not too loud.I like that the menu is not overwhelmed by too many choices. It makes it easier to choose. As stated, the food was really good. I am not a pancake fan, but I love red velvet cake. So I had to try the RV pancakes. They were really delicious. The toffee crumble latte was good too, but by the time it got to the table it was barely warm. Glad I ordered it in a to-go cup.By far the best thing we tried was the cajun omelette. It was less spicier than expected. It could use a little more spice (especially with a name like that).Chai tea latte was good as well, but have had better at other local coffee shops.I would visit again and/or recommend to others. It was worth it!

Service was very slow. Mind you there were only 3 other tables. I'd hate to be here when it's actually busy. There was 1 server doing everything. From taking orders, to making drinks, to bussing the food. That should not all be on her. So I understand why it was slow. Taking our food order took way too long as well. Bloody Maria drink was not good. Food was exceptionally good though! My table got the ham and cheese croissant, Cobb salad, banana foster French toast, hot chicken sandwich and Cajun omelet. We all very much enjoyed and finished our food. Only downside was the service.

I ordered the Sicilian omelette and they either forgot the goat cheese or added so little that is was indiscernible. Also, some cuts of the artichoke were not cut correctly so they included the hard stringy inedible parts of the vegetable. After I visited, I saw that they are running a breakfast club special where customers get an entree + side for $9. This is on their website and Instagram and my waiter didn't tell me about this special. I was there within the day/ time frame and there is no mention that customers need to have a coupon or mention the special. My server never asked me if I wanted a refill on my coffee. The portion of bacon was 2 very thin, small strips of bacon for $5. This place has a nice large interior but the food and service are subpar. I would not recommend this place, unless you are in a pinch for a spot for large groups. They also do not have an email address on their website which makes it impossible for customers to give feedback.
