We enjoyed our first round before eating at Manna so we decided to come back for post lunch beers. Our first round, which consisted of a Sour and strong Dark Ale came out to $15 and our second round which was a Hefe and Blonde Ale was ticketed as $9 somehow came out to $20. It was all a very strange experience, but the beer was solid. I enjoyed all 4 beers, but the Dark Ale (Rambo) was my favorite.They had a bunch of games to offer, but didn't partake as we were waiting on a table somewhere else for lunch. They have bowling, shuffleboard, etc. so possibly a cool date night spot OR group happy hour destination.

Just like every other state 48, it's not good! The service really isn't great and the food is just sub par. They never can back to check on food or drinks (it's a slow afternoon). During bowling no one really came to check in on drinks, we kept having to stop our waitress for drinks.Maddie was nice and friendly but I just don't think the expectation of what good service is, is taught here. The biggest reason for the 1 star is having no AC and not informing customers of this. We got so hot bowling it was uncomfortable and all we were told was the ac was fixed yesterday but it's still on the fritz. When it's 100+ degrees outside and humid no one wants to suffer inside.

Manager was incredibly rude. They messed up our order when it was busy so we just asked that they take it off the bill to which the waitress agreed. They went ahead and charged us for the those wrong items. Later the manager called us cheap and grandmas when we asked the charges be taken off the bill.You will see in other reviews this is common and the manager can be confrontational . We made a point to be super polite and just thought it was easier to take off the bill than remake the order. AVOID THIS PLACE!

Server was very nice and attentive. Food also didn't take long. I really liked my burger and and the wings in the house sauce were so yummy. I think if I had the chance to bowl and truly immerse myself in the restaurant I would have given the place a 5/5.

Giving 5 stars to help counterbalance some of the bad reviews but my honest review would be between 4-5 stars for the experience we had! Had a date night here with my husband, we were greeted and seated kindly and quickly. The lanes aren't anything fancy, but the on screen transitions with our faces on them were a funny and entertaining touch. We ordered food and a cheap bottle of wine, both were great! I had the 48 burger which was really good. Their fries seemed super fresh and everything came out quick. Our server was super sweet! My husband and I both remarked how friendly she seemed and was very accommodating. It was a slower night, but the vibes were still there! Overall it was a really great night. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy. I think a lot of the bad reviews might just be bad one-off experiences?? Or maybe we were the exception, who knows. But I'd definitely go back and maybe bring some friends next time!

No reservations - just walked in on a Saturday evening after watching Dodgers vs Angels Spring Training. Waited less than 10 mins for a table. Monika was our server and she was very kind & knowledgeable- made great entree & beer suggestions.We started with meatballs and potstickers as appetizers. Both were delicious! We wanted to share a burger and I was really interested in trying The Monstrosity Burger. HOLY MOLY that Monstrosity Burger was seriously off the charts! We were both full with no room for dessert after which is a rare event! This has to be the hugest (yes, that's a word...) most enormous burger I have EVER tried in my lifetime! You just have to order it and try it, then like me, you'll want to attempt to duplicate it at home because the concept seems so ridiculously simple!The restaurant itself is loud and casual with plenty of tv's and extra entertainment (bowling, shuffleboard & pool tables) to keep you and your guests or date busy! Great place to meet up with a group of friends or for date night - not so much for families with small children. Great place to walk it all off afterwards!I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came here for lunch after Pop Stroke. Food was solid!We got fried pickles to start. They give you maybe 10-12 spears of fried pickles. They were hot as F, right out of the fryer, and tasty!I went with the Beer Cheese Burger as my entrée, and paired it with onion rings. The burger was huge! 1/2 lb, cooked medium like I requested. It came topped with some bacon jam, an onion ring, and the beer cheese was served on the side. Everything was delicious, and extremely messy! Used about 5 napkins. The only thing I didn't like was the bun. It was toasted a little too much as far as the top bun was rock hard. Made the burger harder to eat. Not too big of a deal though. Onion rings were tasty! Had a Sprite to drink.Service was great! Our waitress was on top of refills and getting us whatever we needed. Offered us to go drink cups, too. Solid lunch, and I would definitely come back if I was hanging out in Westgate.

Overall 3.5. In Westgate to enjoy a few drinks and early dinner. Came to this bar because advertised Happy Hour. Ended up getting well vodka cocktail for $4. Also discounts on certain apps. I got fish tacos and they were decent. My bestie got Nashville Chicken Sandwich which she enjoyed. A side order of tater tots hit the spot.Cool brewery. It runs more like a nightclub with a request to secure tab with your credit card. I would come back to try the beers which were on special also during Happy Hour.

Out and about in Westgate for a team dinner, State 48 was a solid choice.Throwing together pool tables and a bowling alley in a brewpub is an odd mix, but given the dozens of other restaurants and bars in the area, you have to stand out. Offering pub fare with some creative twists, and a wide range of State 48 brews, this spot has appeal.Our group of six got seated right away: service is quick and efficient. I went with a glass of their Prickly Pear Sour and a PB&J burger. The beer was tart, light, and refreshing while the burger was too odd to pass up: peach/jalapeno jelly + peanut butter + bacon. The bun was a little too toasty but that's the only gripe about it: the flavour combination worked wonderfully.

This place has the best food and the service was beyond incredible.Mercedes was wonderful and Layla was great bartender.Mercedes went above and beyond to take care of us and our puppy .I wish I could give this place 10 stars but 5 is the max. I had the beet salad add chicken my husband had the flat bread pepperoni pizza and we had the appetizer the pot stickers it was all amazing . Good job Mercedes ,Layla and State 48 brewery and funk house ...we will definitely be back when in the area
