I had the BLT yesterday with a side of their chipotle sauce and it was absolutely delicious. The sourdough tasted homemade and the veggies tasted so fresh. I loved the kick of spice with some added jalapeño and the sauce was the icing on the cake.. I mean sandwich I'll definitely come back for more! The service was great and they were so quick. I walked in hangry and left happy

I love a good turkey sandwich, and great options for kids too. The environment was hectic and with a toddler it's a bit hard but food was great and had a good amount of workers

We stopped in to see if they had any cool candies to take back to the kids. The man working the cash register was really friendly, warned me that they were expensive. He did not lie! 10$ per bag of candies. We needed several for gifts for friends and everything everywhere seems expensive. Good customer service and good selections of you are looking for unique candies and variety of snacks. My husband also bought a 10$ bag of bacon jerky that was interesting.

Great sandwiches. Right near harbor island and the sport boats at fisherman's and H&M landings. I got the yachtsman, or whatever the dbl meat dbl chee one was. It was delicious, and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back, great deli

Great little sandwich shop in Point Loma. It is tucked in the corner and doubles as a liquor/store. Parking was a little tough but great meal for the price. Lady's were super friendly and quick.

Worst sandwich I ever had. $12 for a turkey , bacon , Swiss on sourdough. I asked for toasted , it was just hot enough to make the bread feel old. No cheese melted. A tiny amount of turkey with ice berg lettuce. Asked for pepperchinis on side , they tasted nothing like they should or have at 99.9 % of other places. No chips , no drink , just a $12 bland small pedestrian sandwich.

Great selection of necessities right in the heart of Point Loma. I was able to grab some snacks and bottled water - just what I needed. Open late (ahem, I was there at 8:00 p.m. which is late for me...!) -- convenient to everything in the area.Parking lot with decent spots, although I walked.Good if you need something quick and don't want to head over to Ralph's. 2022: 32/100

I'm giving Stars and Stripes 3 stars not for food or service but for false advertising. I searched Yelp hankering for a sub sandwich. For some reason every deli or sub restaurant closes before six! Who ever heard of such a thing. I was shocked when I saw that S&S was open until 9pm. We hopped in the car and drove to pick up dinner. The store was open and the deli which is right up front appeared to be open. We were soon told by a man that worked on the Mart side of the store that the deli was closed. WHAT! How disappointing! S&S post your deli hours separate from the Mart hours please!UPDATE: I believe this was on Wed, May 4th. I am assuming the time was around 6 to 630 pm.

Amazing food, service, and prices! The best one stop shop for all things snacks, beer, wine, & spirits! 10/10 recommend!

Point Loma has several good sandwich places. This is considered one of them. They use quality ingredients and the sandwiches are great... usually. Today I was looking forward to a fresh sandwich and unfortunately the bread was stale and the tomato slice was the end slice with the stem. These little things are what make the difference between a special sandwich shop and just a place that sells sandwiches. Hopefully the powers that be will take note and train the staff accordingly. Remember, you're making someone's lunch and they're looking forward to a good sandwich.
