Star Fruits & Vegetables

I always take a moment to make a quick pit stop here because of my newly discovered love for dried fish, my girlfriend and her family are Ukrainian. And this is the only place I'm able to find it. It's always there and I practice speaking my Russian with the employees there. Small hole in the wall but it has an abundance Eastern Europe goods along with some Asian products as well.

Open air market with fresh fruits and vegetables. They have very many drinks and snacks from around the world so something for everyone's taste.

Kinda in the middle of nowhere; rather hard to spot while on the road. Prices seem overall average, but they sell sheep cheese as a plus and meat pastes I have yet to see in other Asian stores.

I love this store!! They have great prices on everything, and while the selection is not as wide as Country Farms up the road, the prices make up for it. They also have a larger selection of unusual produce, mostly of an Asian & Latin flavor. They have Mexican squash, cactus, tamarind, many types of banana and plantain, tropical fruits, uncommon chilies and mushrooms... the list goes on. They also have a lot of Asian and Mexican prepackaged foods and condiments-- try the dehydrated Jack Fruit chips! There is also a lot of prepared foods at the counter like sticky rice treats and bakery items. Go there for the prices and you will come back for the variety and quality!The small parking lot can get full, but there is also easy street parking adjacent to the lot.

I love going here for a quick groceries shopping. It's quick and vegetables and fruits are fresh. However, parking lots have too many big pot holes... It is liability for shopper to step in this big holes. In the summer I step down and mis a step due to hot hole. I am hopping the property owner is willing to pave the parking before someone get hurt.

I took my mom there shopping today. She's 80 years old. No shopping cart. Not even a basket with wheels. When I asked they said they didn't have any. ????? How can a market have no shopping cart? They sell heavy items. I can't support my mom and carry a basket full of groceries at the same time. At another time the worker there pushed the stock cart into me while I was picking produce. No apology. Just told me to move. Very rude. Please don't go shop there. It's dangerous, full of rude people and bad service. Too cheap to provide cart for customers.

This place used to be so organized and much cleaner. Today I noticed the lack of care and cleanliness .Lately, the quality of fruits and veggies have gone downhill as well. Foods are already expensive as it is but can we get the best quality or best picked veggies and vegetables too? Am I not being reasonable with my requests? Also, I noticed a lot of the frozen meats in the freezer area look very old and some I can't even read the expiration dates. What is happening? I am so disappointed. I might have to skip this place until I see some improvements.

Great store. Lots of goodies. Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Farmers cheese. Recommend!

Rude service! I had to wait for the young man to finish texting before he rang up my groceries and then he said absolutely nothing when I paid. No little "thank you" from him. Won't return!

I've been coming here for years and I finally have had enough of poor quality and rude service. I stopped in this morning and was so disappointed with the quality of simple commonly used vegetables like onions, potatoes and carrots. Everything I came for seem like they were old and poor quality. I struggled to find a few good carrots and decent quality potatoes. I asked for some help and all I got was a rude reply. I'm done with shopping here even if it's for a few items it just below what I would call fresh.
