An amazing bar that has true essence of Little Five Points exuding from wall to wall. A hipster, trendy and alternative vibe with awesome people that truly shows an Atlanta that only the locals know.

We had such an amazing time at Star Bar last night. It has a wonderful atmosphere, so friendly. We're in our 50's and "The Kids" were so sweet and loving, I'd love to return here. Very economical - just $5 to get in and my club soda was free. We loved the music, the decor, everything. I loved that the doors were open so we had no COVID fears. We give them 5 stars, and 2 thumbs up!

You know what, I'm not going to leave a negative review because one guy was rude one night. I'll try to make friends next time.

This place smells like cheese and I mean EXACTLY like cheese. I mean if you are super into cheese, I guess this is the place for you. The drinks are watered down and the people who work here are about as friendly as cops #ACAB. The only positive here is that the music is decent. I wouldn't come back here.

#Had so much fun here playing on stage, I don't remember much of what happened afterwards. I think there was a #dance party and some guy telling me he liked how I played, because it looked like I didn't practice.

NEVER EVER EVER DISAPPOINTS... A 25 and up crowd is basically what frequents here...good music, comfortable environment,and very open minded women who are ready and wlling to have a good timeI RATE IT ...5 out of 5 BEERS

Star Bar is like a little slice of Texas shithole dolloped right on the creamy center of Little 5 Points. Of course, that's the whole reason people go there: it should pretty much be your capital if you're into rockabilly/surf/swing/cowpunk/dives. They have a tiny dirty little stage where bands of such a nature play 6 days a week, through a very mediocre sound system. Again: this is what people go for. PBR and the potential fist fight and Johnny Cash on the jukebox and lots of grime.They even have a little altar to Elvis, fixed with tons of memorabilia, where you can pop your head in and pay tribute. That's not a joke.Star Bar definitely isn't my cup of tea. Mainly because sometimes I drink a cup of tea. Tea drinkers aren't allowed in Star Bar. You need at least two tattoos and an exwife. Or long hair (metal style, not pretty boy) and a leather vest. All that said, they have one of the best karaoke nights in Atlanta, simply because all the people who usually hang out there actually try to stand up drunk on stage and warble Judas Priest. It's frighteningly hilarious.

We went to this dive bar on a whim not knowing what to expect. They were doing an 80s night so we gave it a go. Cover was $10 per person but it was so worth it!The drinks were around $10 and packed a good punch. There was a photobooth, a dance area with a DJ on stage, and a lounge downstairs with pinball machines and a cute doggie. The staff were friendly and we had such a fun night! Everyone was dancing and having fun. It felt like a judgement free zone and it was a good experience. I would love to visit again!

This place is perfect, Go and support them! Not too big, not too small. Great shows and a shrine to Elvis

The Star Bar! Do you love rock n roll? Great people? An authentic atmosphere? Then this is your spot. One of the best smaller venues in town! You can see local, national, and international underground music here. Long live the Star Bar! I hope they're there forever.
