I came by to grab a coffee and breakfast and read great reviews for this cafe. It's a small space with only a few seats indoors, so keep that in mind if you plan to stop and work there - it's more of a grab and go place. They had tons of regulars coming in, which is always nice to see. I ordered an iced latte and a breakfast toastie - the latte was delicious, the toastie average. Service was great and they were dog friendly! Overall, a positive experience and I would come back.

Cool lil cafe with a hair salon chair. The space feels a bit compact since most of the space expands sideways from the entrance. Still comfy & charming for its size. The ladies behind the counter are quite friendly & chill. Any questions I had regarding vegan food options & drinks were received kindly.I've been on here on rare occasions getting a decaf oat latte. This time I got the annual/seasonal squirrel spice latte with oat & decaf. It's good stuff, smooth & balanced to me; the spices being a piece of that Autumnal/Fall vibe always a winner. Stamp Act roasters is cool as is Oatly oat milk. I believe the Sunset Tacos have a vegan option with Vashon but it was sold out.

Came for a Sunday morning coffee and got the Honey Oat Latte from the seasonal menu. There was a small line of people but it moved really fast. There's no seating. The coffee was good and I loved the honey flavorn

Walking into Squirrel chops was like coming home. Friendly service that was also efficient - they made me feel like a regular on my very first visit. Small but tasty selection of fresh pastries and grilled sandwiches with extra touches like spicy relish to really make things stand out. Limited but charming seating inside with more outside - the perfect inclusive spot to write the afternoon away or meet up and catch up with friends. Not a laptop cafe. Analog and perfect.

First of all the barista was stellar and super helpful and friendly. They were patient with some of my questions and confirmed my order and milk alternative, which is also always nice too. The service alone would have made this spot 5 stars and highly recommend for me. The barista seemed to know many folks that came in and this spot truly felt like a neighborhood coffee shop that was a part of the community. The drinks were also excellent though. Well made and unique but still tasty flavors. The menu had strong fall vibes but honestly I kinda prefer those types of cozy drinks to the bright or fresh "spring" drinks. I hung out to do some work in the space and it seemed surprisingly open for a Thursday late afternoon. I left at close feeling excited to come back and do more work here another time soon - would definitely recommend!

A tiny place for coffee and haircuts. There are seasonal drinks, plus their signature "squirrel mix." It's a little watery and not strong, but still tastes great. Seating is very limited: 6 tightly close bar seats and 2 tables, plus a couple outdoor seats in the sidewalk. Worth a try if you're in the area!

One of my FAVORITE coffee shops. I am so happy I discovered this near my area and legit went on a whim because I needed a pick-me-up. People working there are super sweet and chill. I notice that they look like they are enjoying working there. There are various flavors that are unique as well as pastries that they offer, which I haven't gotten to try yet BUT the breakfast sandwiches? It doesn't seem that special, but oh my god. Amazing. Visuals aren't great, but try it. Coffee is obviously good too.

probably the best coffee i have had in Seattle since living here. i've tried a variety of lattes from here and they are amazing every time! the baristas are super nice too!! it is a little on the pricier side but it is also 10x better than what you could get at a starbucks or other chain coffee shop so it's worth it. it's dangerous living so close to here because i would come everyday if i could afford that lol. highly recommend!!!
